Thanks for the discovery! I can recommend buying old digicams from the 2010’s, great colors, good sharpness, nostalgia and low price. I had a lot of fun with fuji f200exr, kodak c875, olympus c70 and nikon p7100. Great channel!🇪🇺

Thanks for the recommendations!! Will definitely check these out for sure 😁 I wasn't into photography back then so I don't have much knowledge about cameras of that age, but I appreciate your guidance 🙏

I got one of these for my 8 year old this past Christmas. It's pretty great, all things being equal. Whatever basic software/jpg conversion editing it does works pretty nicely overall. Even at night, taking pics of Christmas lights and the like, it takes all right pictures. It has a very even noise profile that feels like classic high iso film. I made day and night editing profiles for it in on1, which controls some of the color noise and tends to just even out the white balance a hair, things like that, and it only takes a few minutes to edit her photos and they tend to absolutely look good enough, have good enough detail, etc. It's great because it's simple and fun and she can carry it around without having to worry too much about it getting a bit beat up. She does also get to play with my old lumix lx3 and, while fairly tough, she doesn't get to run around the neighborhood with it.

The closest thing to this camera is a camera called the papershoot. It's a really interesting skinny little pocket camera without a screen that has a bit higher mp count. It was pretty popular before this camera. It's about $90-110 I believe. I like the photos you took

I have a papershoot camera and I honestly don't enjoy using it as much as my campsnap. The delay on the papershoot is much longer and there's no tactile feeling to the shutter button, so it never really feels like I'm using a camera. The only plus to the papershoot is that you can cycle through the three filters on the actual camera. Having to plug the campsnap into my phone to download a different filter is kinda a pain. Oh and having a built in flash on the campsnap is a big plus..

I recently backed and received the flashback camera (kickstarter) and it's pretty similar to this but it requires you to "develop" the images for at least 24 hours in the app.
Shortly before receiving it I saw ads for camp snap. It's cheaper and you can off load the images immediately. Might buy it as well.
The idea of being in the moment is really cool, without the hassle and costs of shooting film.

Any tips for Athens? My gf is going to Athens in April so could use some tips for restaurants, bars, anything!

How are the images coming out from the flashback camera? Do they feel filmic or do you need to edit them?
About Athens, send me a DM on Instagram and I'll make sure to give you many tips and worthwhile things to see 😎

@@IliasKoureas The flashback images don't NEED editing imo, however they do feel low quality. The exposure isn't great. Often overexposed, but it's a fun camera to use.

You can't really have very high expectations with this camera. It's basically a digital disposable. It takes shitty images, as a real disposable would but that's the appeal if your looking at this camera. It's a fun little thing to keep in your pocket to take quick snapshots of moments worth capturing. I've had mine for a week now and I take it everywhere with me and use it like a digital journal. Just get one! You'll love it.

The delay between pushing the button and the actual picture being taken is a deal breaker. If they could fix that I would buy one right now.
