Parker is a different town all together. What I do LOVE about the areas around Parker, Lucas, Murphy is that most of the homes are on lot larger than an acre. Southlake does have homes like that, but the price tag is much higher. Mainly due to the location. Parker is on the Northeast side of the metro, and not as close to DFW airport, Fort Worth, or downtown Dallas. Also the schools are ranked well, just not Southlake level. Lovejoy used to rank #1 for a while there. Think it also feeds into Allen and Wylie school districts as well. Both are nice places to live. Just depends on the type of lifestyle your looking for. Parker is more rural than Southlake.
You would have to be more specific about which homes. The new construction was Stony Brook. What's the timestamp on the video for the homes? As far as where Trophy Club is, it's about 6-8 miles depending on your destination, so about 15 minutes.
