My most recent embarrassing moment was last night, I fell down the stairs and smacked my back on a step, cried like an absolute baby and the neighbours rang the police because they thought my boyfriend was battering me😂 thankfully the police saw the funny side
The North South Divide is E. Specifically Bradway tunnel on the railway line between Chesterfield and Sheffield. That used to be my daily commute and the weather going into the tunnel was frequently different from the weather coming out the other side. Besides, Derbyshire is in the Midlands and Yorkshire is in the North.

I used to think that anyrhing North of Hampshire was "The North", but I now live in Shrewsbury, and the accent is exactly the same.
