Last time I heard, they were testing it to see if would work with some of the more crazy skins like Peely and such. Though I do wonder how exactly they planned on implementing it considering it feels like too big of a change to be something like a setting, but also too small of a change to make it a separate game mode entirely. Perhaps it was merely something they made as a byproduct of making Weapon Attachments and it's scoped ability, because it feels like a pretty solid first person when you use the scope on a weapon.
Then again, we FINALLY got Weapon Attachments after YEARS of leaks and waiting, so who knows? Maybe it's something they're saving for Chapter 6 or something...
For the scoped weapons you could use verse so when you hold a scoped gun it enables that input trigger

Like the aim you could use another input trigger so that when the player crouches it changes to another camera that is lowered.
Also perhaps add a switch to have the VHS or CCTV effect on the map?

I did this, in my map, ypu can aim down sights because of an input trigger and you can crouch with another and a switch

What Are You Beting On?
It's not perfect, but I love this so much. I never liked how the first person trick before made you feel so small and had such low fov, but this one is a lot nicer, especially since you can see a lot of animations.
Just needs a few things fixed and it’ll be super nice!

@@FireAnims_ I have made a full map on it and I can confirm that if you set it right it can be perfect
Also major tip: set camera speed to 1000m/s, then when you sprint it'll follow your character

Adding the orbit to a trigger doesn’t work.
The trigger will automatically remove the orbit in the trigger settings

Their are other tutorials on how to make first person with the orbit camera. For example Richytoons has a tutorial on one and it works a bit more smoothly.

In UEFN if you add this there is probably a way to have it update the camera to the players head position at basically any time they do something, I.E Sprint, crouch, aim, etc.

With the first person. Why not change pov when crouching like how you turned off the camera module when you right clicked. So when pressed the crouched button, it turns off the main camera module and switch on the lower pov one to make it work better

can you play a real match with this?
It is possible to fix things with crouching, you just need to make a second camera that will activate when you crouch using the input device. It just gets quite tricky when you combine that with cameras turning off when you ADS. When you aim, either camera will shut off and it works just fine, but it needs a bit of setup to make you return to the right camera when you stop aiming. I used a switch device that turns on when crouching, and then if that switch is on and you stop aiming, it will signal a trigger to return you to the crouch camera, and if that switch is off and you stop aiming, it returns you to the standing camera. There’s still some bugs but I think this is a good basis for a first person shooter mode.

For the crouching one I set up two cameras!
one for when they're crouching and one for when they're standing!
but since there's not a input for standing back up I made it so you have to Sprint for it to change back😅
Also I'm definitely going to use that scoped option because I very much so like only scoped weapons so why not just make that the only weapon you get in a map by me😂
Also honestly all they have to do is make another option instead of just High character or not instead make it hide character hide characters head so on so forth or whatever else they could do with that I have no clue if that's going to break a bunch of stuff it might😅
I don’t think peely is actually moving in the map considering you can no longer choose the speed or length for the prop mover

You just have to use the input trigger which is a device and make it so on aim in it disables the first person device and then on letting go of aim in it re enables it if you still don’t understand I will make a video on my channel if you need it

Last night I had created the perfect system for a First Person Camera in any game that fixes pretty much all problems one can have. I've been answering a lot of questions on the official Fortnite Creative & UEFN server and so let me show you what I did to create this (Releasing Map code at 500 likes!!!);
1. I made 4 separate orbiting cameras, one’s the FP camera as usual in standing position, one is the FP crouching camera, one is a sprinting FP camera, and the other one is an aiming camera which still doesn’t exactly work perfectly (like Mustards issue where it doesn’t really aim for anything but a Sniper or scoped weapon)
2. I strung the logic, keep in mind this is Creative 1.0 but can probably apply elsewhere. The FP camera is added on start and always removes and adds itself back depending on what button is pressed, (Example: Remove From Player (when) Input Trigger 2 (on) On Input Pressed)
The FP crouching camera may seem very tedious for some, but after adjusting to the perfect look and height (It will vary differently depending on what settings your regular standing camera is, so I can’t exactly reveal those) all you need to do is grab a Switch device and make it to where on that crouching input pressed, it *toggles* the respective FP camera. Why you need to do this is because there is such thing that the Input Trigger depends on functions like “On Input Pressed” and “On Input Released”, and so you wouldn’t want to have a crouching camera for a split second or for forever. Next, we go into the sprinting camera. Usually, what I do (for visual effect) is just make it zoom out into 3rd person view. You can make this however you like, I just like the effect. Lastly, of course you may know this one, for aiming, you’ll want to turn off ALL cameras (no switch required?) but this is something to dive deeper on as I know people have settings in place where they can toggle ADS. Best thing to do is simply make a prompt somewhere easy to access where players can choose their ADS setting for the game. (Ex: “Toggle ADS” or “Hold ADS” at the start of game). This is crazy itself, and let me go ahead. All you need to do here is simply add a Switch device and clone your existing aim camera. What happens next? If the player picks Toggle ADS, it should disable your first aiming camera and then enable the second switch (Using a different Input Trigger with Crouch and without “On Input Released”) to toggle the cloned aiming camera.
IItttt’s a lot, and you can probably refer to this comment over and over again to look back, but I thought this was a great thing to add to give the due knowledge I found. I’ve been working with 1.0 for 4.5 years, so ask me anything!!
