IHHP - Wurreranginy - Frog Hallow

December 2019 IHHP had the privilege to return to Frog Hollow at Purnululu Aboriginal Independent Community School in the Kimberley, WA. Our team worked hard with this beautiful community in 42 degree plus heat to create this incredible Gija song.
The song is written in Gija by Elder and Teacher Sophia Mung. The song warns the families and children to look out for each other particularly the younger ones while swimming in the near by creek. Gija is taught weekly in classes at Purnululu school and it is great to see the continued learning and participation from all the students. Well done to the Froggies!
