I recently traveled to China and had the chance to take some awesome aerial footage of the megacity Shanghai with my DJI Mavic 2 Pro in 4k.
The iconic Pudong skyline of this metropolis is truly amazing with its futuristic skyscrapers, such as the World Financial Center, mixed into the classic Chinese architectural style. Especially during night when the Bund skyline is illuminated Shanghai shows its true beauty and invites you to explore the city.

China is currently the world’s largest economy in PPP terms having an 18% share of the world economy.

Currently, India is ranked 6th with a 2.6 trillion $ economy in terms of nominal GDP and 3rd with a 9.46 trillion $ economy in terms of GDP PPP.
India is growing fast at an average rate of 6.5 to 7 % in the past 10 years, in fact, it is the fastest growing major economy in the world along with China and is expected to grow at this rate of many years to come.
It is expected that India will maintain a steady growth rate of around 5.5% for the next 5 to 6 decades and will overtake the economy of United States by 2045 and will eventually overtake China by 2070 to become world’s largest economy.
India is expected to have a 44 trillion $ economy by 2050 and an 86 trillion $ economy by 2080.

Flying soooo close to the tall buildings in Shanghai with a drone, would never be possible in new York city.
Ive never seen any drone footage of one world trade center from that close up with a drone
Casey Neistat was doing that and then got a huge fine
thats probably because NY's still having PTSD of a plane getting too close to the world trade center
Coz they have restrictions?. plus these towers are so much taller compared to the ones in NYC, so naturally get access to fly a drone safely around them.

How does it look with needed paperweork or permits to fly in the bigger Chinese cities? Any needed or did you fly without and hoped for the best?
There is no specific paperwork needed. The most important thing is that your drone is registered in China and that you have a chinese Mobile phone no., even the DJI app will check if you fullfilled that otherwise you cant't take off. This site explains the process pretty good: www.travelchinacheaper.com/flying-drone-china-regulations If you have done that you can fly your drone.
