Well... that's easy. We use all our cheap RAM, Hz and hard drives to drive modern abstractions in form of different frameworks and virtual machines so we can make advanced and portable software in much less time then if we had to build it in hardware optimised assembly code. And also to run our modern OS kernels that control and secure everything while we're running it... So we don't have to watch guru mediation screen 200 times a day. :)
Not really a remake. More like enhanced version or remix. This has lots of new stuff which original version didn't. Loved both versions nevertheless. More stuff like this thank you!
I'd disagree... I run WB 1.3 on my A1000 (7mhz) and it's decent speed. I do have an IDE (CF) hard drive. So I think what most people think as slow is the floppy access that they remember. I had a SCSI HD on my A500 back in the day and it was (seemed to me) fast. Yeah, my 1200 WB is faster, but it's a faster machine..
What a lie, obviously you haven't tried to run Workbench on a stock Amiga 500, it's extremely slow. Try it for yourself, and don't use WinUAE with non-stock A500 settings. Workbench (especially 3.x) was much faster on later upgraded Amigas, that's where Workbench actually flied in terms of speed.
Who thumbed this masterpiece down???
Just wow! Only Amiga makes it possible :)
yes. vanilla A500 for standard compo machine
very good music :)
Пока новинок больше нет. Как будут выходить - загружу на канал.
oh my god, its rotating !!
Нереально, мне понравилось. Александр, будут еще видео с амижных демок?

Отличная демка
Unfortunately, no. WinUAE emulator was used. But it runs this demo in the very same way as you can see on the party footage (Amiga 500 live).
Hi, is this a recording from a real Amiga500?

Have you seen the original?
Yes, it was nowhere near as good.
Although the graphics are really Amiga style, the music is certainly not. Retro Amiga music sounded a lot different than this 2013 type of music.
