I know Azra from the time she was in the unversity and then to med school. I lived in the same building in Karachi when I ran away from E Pakistan in the 1970 . We have travelled to Pindi to a com friend by train and shared a lot of great moments together . Her brothers wedding and so on , my son Salim learned the Quran from her mother . Well she is a great person to be with not forget when she finished her med school and came to America . We all missed her but most of the time I was flying and living in JEDDAH when I joined SAUDIA . God Almighty bless you Azra stay blessed.💖 and safe.
Dearest Surayya, how lovely to hear from you after all these years. Please send me your email so we can be in touch. With much love and admiration! Azra
Thanks Jashn e Rekhta for this innovative way of introducing Ghalib to English speakers. This is what make Jashn e Rekhta ahead of its peers, taking the reach of Urdu classics beyond the boundaries of Urdu, Hindi speakers. No words can express the intellectual depth of Dr. Azra, her expression invite new inquiries for interpretation of Ghalib. My Salam to her.
Very profoundly impressive analysis of Ghalib’s work.Heartiest congratulations for presenting in such a novel way.The interpretations are unique and extremely pleasing 👏👏👏🙏Leicester,UK
A very very different perspective to Ghalib' poetry... never heard before, that too by an oncologist, for whom the experience of handling her patients must have been painful
Bazicha e atfaal hai duniyan mere aage Hota hai shab o rooz tamasha mere aage Turely Greatest Poet he is? Continuing to be and impressing the whole World.
Dr. Azra, aapki angrezi mashaAllah bahut achchi hai magar Ghalib par Urdu mein sunne mein zyada maza aata. Baharhaal, angrezi hi jaanne walon ke liye theek hai

Wow
Urdu literature is so cute but Bengali literature is the most vast
Dr. Azra Raza on Ghalib
when will be the next jash- e- rekhta held and where?

it's a KHWAJA MEER DARD
Hindostan hi nahi balke saara Barr-e-Sagheer Ghaalib ka Maqrooz hai jo URDU ke liye unki Qidmaat hai us ke liye
Tjere is no Ghalib in Bengali
गालिब की बात और इंग्लिश में। hahahaha
Even english people are his fan
