The monster hill climb they call Billy Goat'S Bluff. Would the boys be able to get to the top of the seven kilometre hill?? Would Adrian the pin up boy even survive the climb on his 790 KTM adventure bike??? Adrian's mighty 790 KTM was brand new when he started...the bike certainly didn't look new when he finished!! Welcome to the Victorian High Country.
The High Country is located in the north-east of Victoria. It is an area that features national parks, Victoria's highest mountains, lakes, snow resorts, vineyards and a rich history including gold discovery, cattlemen and bushrangers.
It’s a toss up, what’s more enjoyable, watching that KTM hit the deck or listening to you. Great views up there. Excellent!

Laughed like a drain at this. Did a similar track in the Kouga Mountains in South Africa with a mate on a KTM 790 ( I was on a DR 650 - both loaded for self-supportive camping). Well, that KTm was just too heavy and powerful for the loose rocks and that steepness. The old DR just tractored through , much like the KLR in this video ...
Yeah you cant fault the mighty DR!!!

That was STEEP! Probably the best track you’ve shown so far Wayne. The views were spectacular but it’s kind of hard to take them in while ascending a loose dirt 30% grade in second gear. Seems like Amaroc would send some extra riders to assist their pinup boy.
Ha! one of the 4x4's was an Amaroc!! Yeah the views were absolutely spectacular everywhere! Really need way more time to explore...next time Andy, next time.
What an epic hill-climb mate... even had the odd jump along the way! I sense your inner motocrosser trying to find his way to the surface;- ) Looked like so much fun!

Absolutely amazing footage. Have been up it but had to unload the DR and wait for 15 minutes while I caught my breath and some strength returned so I could use the clutch again 😂. Two good lay downs also what a place. I think I made it up because I was too scared to go down again

Great vid mate just getting into the HC my self and this track on a fully loaded dr was a bit of a handful for me too though the bit of rain on the day did not help. I made it up in the end.
