Great seeing you again Tara!
@Jaydog1Party Hey friend!! Hope you’re doing well! Come out to the archery range!
I like this one, the smaller ones never really protect enough for a beginner
Yes, definitely a big difference between beginner and advanced arm guards!
I kind of agree but placement is also important. I've seen bigginers put their guard way too low, or even at the top arm not the side, so might aswell not have one lol. I have mine up near the elbow joint because the string shouldn't be hitting the wrist.
Thanks for taking one for the team!
Haha! Any time!
Please keep these videos coming.
I have a VGEBY1. Arm guards are really cheap if you just want a standard one like this, I've used a few different ones at club and never been that bothered. The item that i took my time getting was a finger tab. I hate the ones that normally come with bows, just a leather split tap although i shoot 3 under so don't need the split. But most have them so you can split finger if you want. I finnaly got a Bicaster. For me an arm guard is an arm guard as in I'm not that fussy about them. Finger tabs abit different, I've had about 4 before i got the Bicaster and it has a nice adjustable part that goes in between the two top fingers next to the finger strap, also with finger tabs the leather feel is important. I noticed with alot of the cheaper leather ones the leather gets worped really quickly. I think a vid on finger tabs for bigginer would be great as they are more personal to you, mine is one of those ones that has a plastic inner grip that you can have the thumb rest on top and a bit for the little finger to keep it inwards. The club i go to don't even teach with a finger tab, and personly i would teach with one too get used to shooting with one. I am so won't be an issue but i know for the rest they'll find it's a whole new feeling shooting with a tab. Ok the club are only using 15lb bows so not a major issue, but when they go out to get say a 25lb bow they'll find after about 5 inn's they will notice the fingers getting sore.
Thanks, digitaldogs233! Planning to do a finger tab/glove review soon!
0:10 =) thats interesting because quite a few descriptions on armguard "flaunt" their floppiness. like the "Avalon Smart Arm Guard"
Looks like a good one
I chose Medieval Archery Bracer by Todd's workshop
wow you are a real live warrior princess , you definitely need to be in an epic action movie with that bow 😍
