I have that exact flash stick, and did some reliability tests on mine. I found with normal operation, it regularly corrupted files to an extent. So if you watch a video it would be scrambled mostly for like 2min at a time. I found with mine using linux, that if I wrote do it immediately after plugging it in using dd I got more or less error free writes, but I did a 24 GB test and there were errors. So there could be damaged regions in the flash, or there are some issues in the electronics that don't go away. Also I would not buy any kind of rechargeable battery from a dollar store because that is the kind of thing that can start a fire when they are not high quality. VERY sketchy bank.
Yeah its good for small files maybe. But not necessarily worth it when you can get a brand name, reliable usb drive for maybe $5-$10 more. Good to know about the reliability testing though. Pretty much confirms what I found.

Will the charging cable damage my phone battery?
