In MY memories(DRV2:DF CHAPTER 6[DES])

In the single 20 minutes Konami and Tsumugi were in that room, the killing game felt real, everything felt real, because it was real. To them, to Tsumugi Shirogane, every single event in that killing game had happened and … everything between them was too.
So when they stopped talking about their Ultimate Hunt News Paper other things popped up, specifically their brief conversation before heading inside. Tsumugi’s apologies and Konami’s.. everything. It just mixed together by that point and, before she could even think it though, she poured every word in her heart out to Tsumugi.
The world was over- dying, they had been though hell and back together and in all honesty Konami wouldn’t trade being with Tsumugi for the world. She enjoyed her company, even if she had to seek it out. Konami loved her sugary rambles about Manga she didn’t understand, Konami loved her weird comments in the middle of her self talks- the ones where she would be silently corrected by the cosplayer or her words would be compared to an anime. For once in her life, Konami felt free around someone and that someone was her.
If the time ever came, after this killing game, after the end of this world and into the next, Tsumugi would shine like gold in her memories.
Tsumugi just let it happen.
No, that’s wrong… Tsumugi made it happen.
She kissed the Novelist right then and there, because in all honesty… She felt the same.
In a world where this was all real, in a world somewhere in the distant universe Tsumugi wasn’t playing any part in a story so far derailed it didn’t even resemble its purpose… Tsumugi would’ve taken Konami to that convention, she would’ve went with her to every publishing meeting, she would’ve loved her in that universe.
In that single universe that wasn’t hers.
