Small text because I realized it was too small to read(apologies): Backstory(TW, Abelism, Child Abuse, Implied of drug addiction, Foster Care, … just a lot of TW’s): ###### was born into the most hellish world imaginable. Alone, with a father constantly covered with powder, and mother who made noises in her room with men who definitely weren’t ######’s father. Horders. and He was forced to clean, buy cigarettes even if they didn’t have the money, Never had any attention than that of a servant boy, and if he didn’t? He’d get beat. If he did, sometimes he’d still get beat. If they were lucky they could talk their way out or sneak around it.. 2 separate things. At some point, it became routine. Shuffling in and out and in and out, talking to the parents and sneaking around- until those times became separated entirely. They Weren’t sure when it happened, but ##### wasn’t alone anymore. He knew how to be quiet, to be unnoticed, to stop listening and cheat. He knew how to talk, to word things, to escape when outside of his house. He was 2 separate people… And then someone called the cops. Someone called CPS and suddenly, at 12 years old, ##### no longer needed that. They no longer needed the other part of them… but that part wasn’t going away. And then? Passed around from home to home, never getting comfortable, never being liked. He was too strange, too much to handle- kids at school would look at them funny until people just… blended. And all they had was eachother. So one of them started writing, they aren’t sure who, they didn’t have names till it was finished. One taking the pen name, Taro Akiyama, and the other of the protagonist, Nikko. And it was a success, even if no one knew Taro and Nikko, they were still loved. It felt weird but… maybe it was the start of something other than the numbness. So they kept at it, growing something they didn’t understand until eventually someone gave them a suggestion. Samulei Academy. A chance at something- they’re not sure what but it was something. And at first they had it.
