I'm in Canada but my desktop and phone Pinterest don't look anything like yours! When I click + to create, I only get regular pin option on my phone with IOS17. On my desktop it doesn't have any of the options you do and I have converted into a business account... Am I doing something wrong?

I was also confused but I now figured it out and it’s really easy! you have to tap on an individual page/video and it shows those options at the bottom. Hope this helps

Hey Laura, no that's the amazing thing about Tailwind once you schedule them they are automatically posted at the best times. With idea pins, honestly, when you have the time / as often as you can. I do 1-2 a week.
You give me a shock when you show me that Hong Kong wasn’t there for the idea pins availability. Well, I could say is living in HK sucks sometimes coz we are not allowed to do some stuff I don't know why they banned some platforms as well. So it’s kind of hard to move.

Hey Martha, Hmm I don't think it does, but I don't know for sure. I believe that how much engagement you get on the pin is relevant, though. And since you have more options on your phone like stickers and music, this could make a difference.

If you go into stickers you can add product pins there. So first create a product pin which includes the affiliate link and then attach it to your idea pin. Does that make sense?
Okay so I tried to do this from my phone and it worked IDEA PINS but how can I add a LINK TO MY WEBSITE from the IDEA PIN?????? The whole point for most of us is to drive traffic to our sites.
At this time Pinterest does not allow links from Idea Pins but they have recently announced that they will enable the feature in 2023 🎉🎉 Keep you posted once I know more
This isn't correct anymore for desktop. You can select multiple images and video when on mobile, but when on desktop for some odd reason you can only select one image or video, which basically nullifies the entire point of idea pins. Very odd.

You can't create idea pins on an android phone. Only iPhone. There is no music or audio option so kinda useless. I've been trying to get help with this issue for months! Yes, my app is updated, yes, I have the right IOS. I have a new galaxy S21 so it should work. I'm in United States so not a location issue. Other android users have said the same...no audio or music option. This really sucks.

If you want to post more content than just one or two per day I recommend you use a scheduler like Tailwind.

Sometimes you can get block by doing this cuz it says spam but you could download the image is the three dots on top of the pictures

Double check to make sure the app doesn't need updating.

If you have a business account you should have at least the ad option. Idea pins are not yet available in all countries. I hope they change that soon.
