DIC planned a second season of Swamp Thing, but the second season didn't come around due to the fact that DiC was busy working on the second season for Captain Planet and the Planeteers, the seventh and final season of Slimer! and The Real Ghostbusters, the second run of the second season of G.I. Joe, Chip and Pepper's Cartoon Madness, Pro Stars, Wish Kid Starring Macaulay Culkin, Where's Waldo?, and the second season of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures.
lmao, I love the flashback. Arcane and his men break through the glass wall even though there's an open door. And Arcane has to run up himself and play keep away with Holland- even though his got a group of goons to help him easily muscle the formula vile away from him.
They could've added a bit more, considering this was the last episode. They used the exact same flashback in the first episode. I suppose there was nothing really more that could be said. It does feel a little repetitive, but maybe for those that hadn't seen the first episode could see it here. Despite the fact that the theme song told his origin anyway.
This seemed to serve as somewhat of a finale. So sad Arcane somewhat won if costing him turning human. Why didbt it continue beyond this. This was 1 of my favs in the miniseries. Arcane seems to resp9nd by destroying labs

You're not the boss of me, Swamp Thing is the only authority I adhere to. Because he is amazing, unlike homoerotic cartoons about men named "Snow Job". Also, it's July.
For this particular episode, they slowed it down and tried altering it a tad, presumably to make it sound less like "Wild Thing". The thing is, though, I don't know what the point was, considering this was the last episode. It's possible this version was used in repeats for all 5 episodes.

i loved this show as a kid. thank you for keeping it uploaded. i really appreciate it
Just think, while this was playing, USA had the live action series!
Watching this going: i hope this doctor sues the shit outta Arcane. He may be old money, but not enough to deal with that amount of litigation
I could never figure out why it cancelled after 5 episodes and why CBS turned it down during its mid-season debut on FOX.
The backing track does not fit with the lyrics at all.
