i’m declaring 2024 as the year of the small bag. i just got a grip g-series a couple months ago. it only holds 11 discs max, but i’ve been shooting just as well using that bag as i ever did with my 24-disc grip bx2 bag. good on ya for downsizing; i fully think a majority of ams carry way too many discs.
I agree. I mentinoed that I switched to a smaller bag as well, and I'm struggling to figure out what to bag, but only because I have so many discs that do very similar things, its just tough to choose which one I like the best. In my old bag, I would have 3 midranges that effectively do the same thing, just with slight variations.
@@peachydiscgolfyeah shrinking the bag definitely takes a lot of disc selection out of the equation so you can mainly just focus on executing your shot. gives you less variables, which is nice.
Its awesome walking around with a small bag i had a 8-12 disc bag but now im carrying 14-18 disc bag but it still feels light weight for me its awesome small vag club in Wisconsin
I know Khang is loving the smaller Apex bag. I also downsized from a Squatch Legend to a Squatch Lore, and it is so much easier playing longer rounds, especially now that the weather is warming up here in the south.
That's a tough question for me. Probably a putter like the PA-3's that Chris uses. I don't recall which plastic but it felt like money. I'm trying to tell myself it's me and not the disc but sometimes the placebo helps.
@@SavorySteak the one upside to the Valkyrie is that it's one of the most aerodynamic discs in Innova's lineup. It's more like a longer FD in my experience. But yeah it can be more touchy than the FD, which is the tradeoff.

The Prodigy BP1 V3 has an umbrella pocket on the top left of the bag if you are looking at it from the front
great bag Khang! lots of Innova! And Discraft. Great mix of discs! What one disc do you wish you had in your new bag?

ayo first. plus kang, you gotta come next time chris and i are together
Of course! I've been so busy lately but I'm down after new years. I'm pretty booked this year
I love the apex. I use it with a zucca xl bag cart, and an xxl putter pouch though. lol. I can hold 45 dics this way.
I want more discs too but man..... Without a cart the bag gets so heavy it becomes a workout
Is it possible to zip up the putter pouch when you have two three discs in it ? seems small and tight.
Khang says he can fit 3 discs in the top pouch and still zip. It does seem a little tight, but doable.
@@peachydiscgolf thanks for checking, much appreciated 🙌
I feel this bag still has alot a duplicates
