Im in california, check the plug and then ground wires along the trailer , sometimes the grounds will get oxidation underneath them and break the connection ,clean all ground connections then if that dosent fix it check the wiring for loose connections or broken wires , if the wiring is good and you have electric brakes you need to check the brake magnets, do one thing at a time moving from the plug back ,this is trouble shooting for the trailer , for the truck check the fuses make sure none are blown and then check the plug make sure there are no loose connections , hope this helps
