Always wanted to see that 943 it was a power house but always need a gt34 system for side scan but they fixed that now so it’s definitely looking like a great unit
Guru do you have screen protector on the unit? Whack a jig on that touch screen and bad juju occurs. I have the older units 93sv on dash and bow with NMEA connection and motor down can idle around in perspective mode to find all kinds of things. Great videos with uncomplicated explanations. Keep them coming!
I like your idea on this mount. I am thinking about doing same thing to mount my 1022. Way cheaper than a 300+ dollar mount! Any troubles while your full speed on lake with stability of graphs on mount?

got the live scope for the ex wife , i think it was a good trade ,wouldn't you know i got Gmap1242 xsv plus , and 2 months later they come out with new lvs 34 , the dog isn't worth $1300 , so i guess i won't get the lvs 34 , can't go to mini marts anymore they mite recognize me , oh well . I could get around 8 hours with the 1022, 943, and Livescope on that particular battery. But have since switched to the Ionic battery which has Bluetooth to monitor the battery and charges much faster

What about the gls10 does it have the update? I'm sure that may affect running a unit that's not on the same update......

Can you view side and down imaging on your 1022 from your 943xsv? Even if its just the 1022 model "monitor"

Overall do you prefer the 943 over the 1022 for livescope?? I’m on the fence between 943/1243 and 1022/1222

How much amperage do you eat per hour with the 943XSV and livescope?
