Please use safe practices when lifting patients! It’s okay to ask for help, especially with bed bound patients. I was a CNA during nursing school and threw my back out trying to be superwoman on the floor. Your body comes first, especially in this line of work!
I love that you psyche yourself into thinking the pain is discomfort, i do that too.

Chrisanta hope you get the rest you need. Specifically your back. As a CNA, I've also hurt my back pulling up a patient with a new Nurse who didn't know proper body mechanics of pulling the patient. I was on light duty about 3 months. I did Yoga videos & physical therapy which helped.
