Always appreciate that you share personal experiences! It's way more insightful than repeating information from the credit cards website like other UA-camrs
I'm glad you enjoy that! I know it may not always be the craziest redemptions or examples, but it's real life and that's what counts. I appreciate you watching as always!
Last month I flew to Amsterdam on Air France in business class. I got > 3 cents per point by transferring my UR points. I then had to pay the surcharges and taxes separately and I used the CSP and got the 2X on all other travel category. I love this card.
That's awesome man! Whenever you start to book international trips these redemptions get a lot more serious when it comes to the value you get from them. Plus getting 2x on those taxes and fees is not something to complain about either!!
I got the Sapphire Prefered in June 2019 but got the bonus 3 months later in September 2019, downgraded to CFU and now getting the CSP again in September, 2023. Just note, I think the 48 month clock starts on the statement period when you receive the bonus not necessarily the date opened. As always, nice video Spencer!
That’s the way to do it! Keep getting that SUB as long as you’re under 5/24. And you’re right about the 48 month period . I should’ve been more specific about that, but thanks for pointing that out!
I love his detailed way of showing all of this info. When he actually got into the HYATT page and explained the difference it was perfect. I am a visual learner and his graphics is just the cherry on the top for me. Thank you!!!!!
Hey Spencer! Just wanted to say you’ve inspired me in my own channel. Love your content, especially recently. I got the chase sapphire preferred a few weeks ago and am pumped to start using these benefits. Thanks man!
That's awesome to hear man! That really means a lot. I'm glad you picked up the CSP! It's gonna be a great card for you I'm sure. Best of luck to you with your channel and let me know if you ever have any questions for me!
Just product changed my CSP down to a Chase Freedom card given it's been 5-6 years now, hopefully the elevated bonus sticks around! Awesome review Spencer!
I hope that the 90k CSP offer lasts for a while - if it’s still there later in the year, I may consider getting it once I’m under 5/24! Great overview of this card Spencer! It was fun to hear your personal experience with this card as well!
I sure hope so man. The Sapphire cards could really use some nice bonuses on top of a revamp. I'm glad you enjoyed me sharing my personal experience and I'm excited to hear about yours with it one day (maybe 😉). Thank you for watching as always Stan!
It would be more of a value than the Venture X when it comes to way better transfer partners that Chase has like the Hyatt which is personally my favorite hotel brand
Of course Bob! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I always want to be as transparent as possible as to not lead y'all on to a card that may not make sense for you. Thank you for watching!!
The CSP is probably my favorite credit card! Aside from the decent multipliers, its 1 of the only low AF metal cards that offers superior travel insurance & primary auto CDW. Definitely a keeper for me.
It's definitely one of my favorites for the fact alone that I can transfer my points out to travel partners. The other perks you mentioned are great too though! Especially the fact that it's a metal card 😉😆 All jokes aside, it was really cool to add this as my first travel card a year or so ago and get my first taste to metal credit cards. Definitely made me feel special!
I found out of your channel because I follow Ben Hedges & other vloggers, never heard of you in the past. Have to admit was really impressed with your review with such clarity, simplicity and tone of the voice. Forwarded to wife to watch as she is eligible to get it in July as for me it will 2 years or more to be eligible to apply for this card if I stop applying for other cards. I am authorized user on my wife's Chase cards.
That means a lot Tariq! I'm glad you found the channel no matter how it happened. As for the CSP, it really is a solid card for those with Chase points who want to transfer their points out to travel partners. I wish your wife the best of luck in her application! At least one of y'all will have it and considering you're an AU on her Chase cards, you'll be pooling all of your points together which is nice. Thanks for watching!
Love to see the example to get 2.5 cents/point for that Hyatt redemption! Just like you, I'll definitely be keeping my CSP to get that higher value for all the Chase Points that I have, and being able to redeem those points for travel. Great video here Spencer!
Thanks Matt! I'm glad you liked the example. I always feel it's better to show people that when I can. This card is definitely a keeper for me solely due to to the transferability it gives me, but that's about it tbh. Thank you for being here man!
I completely agree man! I hope they eventually add some more earning categories like gas or in-store groceries to it, but even just being able to transfer to travel partners make this card a no-brainer for me.
I just booked a 4 night stay at a Hyatt House in Florida. I transferred 48K UR points at a value of $480. The going rate for 4 nights at this Hyatt House was $1500. Getting about 3 CPP. I just recently downgraded the CSP, so I can reapply for the 90K SUB. I've had the CSP for 6 years. I also have 2 CF's, a CFF, and a CFU that get dumped into UR.
That's awesome to hear man. Gotta love those valuable redemptions! And Hyatt is a great way to get them. Also, that's really smart to reapply for the CSP with this elevated offer. Let me know if you have luck with it in-branch! I haven't had any data points of people saying they used it yet so I'm excited to hear about it. Your setup definitely makes the CSP a must, and another new bonus is just icing on the cake!
I pretty much feel the same about this card as you do. It's one that I have only because of the transfer partners. I have accumulated a lot of Chase points with Ink cards so those transfer partners are going to come in handy!
Exactly! I really wish I could use it as a daily driver, but it just isn't competitive enough. As a pass-through entity for my Chase points though, it's super solid. I guess we could do the same with the CIP, but that's a discussion for another time lol.
Alas, another awesome informative video Spence. Also love the Hyatt Redemption example. Thanks for sharing and helping me out on making my next decision for my card arsenal easier lol. Can't wait to see more!
I really appreciate that! And I'm glad you enjoyed the example. I told you that you may like this one! 🤣 It's a great card for those of us with Chase points, that's for sure. Thank you for watching!!
I love this, I actually usually don’t like going over the benefits of the card as most already know, but the personal experiences you had. Love the deep dive gif 😂😂😂 Hyatt is king! I know I bashed this card but for sure, the first year was super valuable! Nice Spencer!
Thanks Tony! Anyone can spit the facts about these cards, but no one can take our personal experiences as their own! I'm glad you enjoyed it though. You know I love Hyatt. This isn't even a super high redemption with them, but it's real life, so I thought I'd share. I definitely wouldn't recommend this card for everyone, but for anyone with Chase points who wants to use them for travel should definitely have one of Chase's cards that allow you to transfer to travel partners. Why not massively increase the value of your points?! Thank you for watching as always Tony.
I’ve considered it, but I haven’t had enough spend to strongly consider the CIP yet. Also since I’m not back in line for the SUB on a sapphire card yet, I haven’t downgraded, but that isn’t a bad idea! If I ever have enough natural spend to get the CIP I’ll probably consider this!
Just got the freedom unlimited with the 5x category for groceries up to $12,000 in the first year. With this and the $200 intro bonus I plan to transfer the points over to my CSP and use towards flights or hotel. Funny enough it is the chase unlimited card that will make me keep the CSP.
You make a good point! And one that is true for a lot of people. The CFU is going to be the main earner while the CSP is used for bookings... that's about it!
I had booked a hotel last yearto use that $50 credit. Unfortunately had to cancel the trip but I still got the $50 credit. I don't know if that is a loophole, but happened to work out. Also I have noticed that if you use the sapphire preferred card using Kroger pay it still counts as online even though you are in store.
Also, gotta love when they have the $20 off UA-cam TV as a Chase offer. Over the last year I was able to use that twice and it's something I use anyway.
Ah that sucks that you had to cancel your trip but convenient that you kept the credit! Maybe that's a secret trick people should implement lol. And that's good to know about Kroger too. Since I have the Gold card now I just use that for all my food purchases, but it sounds like the CSP can be used in place of it at certain locations.
I guess I’m second 😢. The CSP is definitely a good keeper credit card, however, Chase desperately needs to revamp the reward categories especially with the no annual fee Bilt card’s ability to transfer points out to the World of Hyatt. I’m calling for a dedicated IN-STORE grocery reward category at the very least 😊. I’m still keeping my CSP regardless though 😂.
I appreciate you nonetheless! And I agree with you. They just need to make their sapphire cards desirable as a card you spend on as well. I sure hope they add an in-store grocery or gas option one day. That’d be really nice for sure. Thanks for watching CJ!
Hey Spencer thanks for another vid! Part of the notification squad! I do have a question for you. How do card holders have 2-3+ banks. I feel like that spreads their point earnings thin. Wouldn't it be smarter to stick with maybe 1 bank to stockpile those specific points? New to this!
Hey AJ! I really appreciate your support man! And this is a great question (and one I'm planning to cover in a video soon)... my short answer is that it can be very beneficial to pledge your loyalty to one lender if you don't have high amounts of spend. You just have to make sure that the ecosystem you choose will have cards that fit your spend well while also giving you higher tier perks with travel partners you desire. I personally like having access to as many travel partners as possible and usually have a decent amount of points with every lender because of welcome bonuses and referrals, but that isn't necessarily true for everyone. And I should mention, if you're on team cash back, this all goes out the window since you can get cash back cards from any lender and get the same value from your points, but for us on team travel, it depends on your spending habits and goals. Hopefully this helps a bit! Let me know if I can explain it further for you.
I completely agree! Not only about the necessity of this card, but also about the hotel credit. Considering I'd rather book my trips with points and travel partners, the hotel credit easily slips my mind.
I opened mine in branch (no fee the first year) and canceled it after 11.5 months. I did not see the value in the card to pay $95 for another year. I got my bonus and some points from travel and eating out but that was it. Time to move on.
I’ve been living under a rock and 40, successful business and haven’t been in the credit card game other than just turning my wheels with an AMEX gold. This is going to be a fun ride. Just got Chase Sapphire, reserve business AMEX platinum individual AMEX platinum and then individual AMEX gold. I screwed myself out of the Chase trifecta because I applied for too many AMEX cards.
Great video!!! Just fyi, I have both CSR and CSP through product changing, I know it's not ideal but I wanted to use the $50 hotel credit from CSP first before I pc to Flex, but yes, it is doable just not ideal
Thanks so much! To be honest with you, I did not think it was possible to have both Sapphire cards even through a product change. Are you the primary account holder for both? And it's definitely important to get positive value from all of your annual fee cards, so I'd stick with whatever one you get more value from. Thanks for sharing something new with me if this is indeed the case!
@Spencer Johnson I appreciate the response. I didn't know that you can have both as well, but I've seen someone who has both through product changing, you may want to Google MDD, modified double dip, you can get the subs for both but I think that's too risky, good luck Spence, great video, love the content and the collabs!!!
Hey Kevin, thanks for the kind words! Personally I would either use the CSP or the Venture X. Mainly because I'd get 2x either way. Since it really just falls in that "general travel" category, your best catch-all credit card or travel card is most ideal probably. Hopefully that helps!
how can you get a welcome bonus again for having a card? for example, I have held some cards for more than 7 years now. you are saying you can get welcome bonuses more than once per card!?
You would have to downgrade your Sapphire card to a Freedom card and then reapply for the Sapphire card fresh to get the bonus again. You could also cancel it and reopen a new one, but I prefer the product change method to keep that account alive.
@@SpencerJohnsonOfficial dang... And they would gladly offer you ANOTHER open/spend bonus for the sapphire card when you reupgrade!? That's insanely useful man!!!
@@REIwAlexY It's a super useful strategy for sure! And just to be clear, they won't give you a bonus for product changing up to another Sapphire card after you downgraded it in the first place. They only give bonuses for NEW card accounts, hence why you'd have to apply fresh for another Sapphire Preferred and it would have a different card number and everything.
I like having Hyatt as a transfer partner. But I blew the whole Chase trifecta by not adhering to the 5/24 rule. That being said I’m going to Thailand next month and can get Hyatt Regency rooms for 8k points.
I agree! Hyatt is really solid. And that 5/24 rule is tough to follow for sure. That's awesome to hear you can get Hyatt rooms for so cheap. That in combination with the CSP is pretty ideal!
I basically have every card I ever wanted with the exception of the Chase Sapphire Preferred and the Bilt MasterCard. I’m at 3/24 right now and I’m just waiting for the CSP to up it’s welcome bonus and than I’ll scoop it up.
That's awesome Chris! Based on the news we received, that 90k offer is live in a lot of branch locations. I just had someone tell me they took advantage of it recently and locked it in! Apparently they're also sending out select targeted offers for 100k but I haven't heard from anyone who got that. As for the Bilt card, I sure hope they add a SUB to it soon, but I'm not holding my breath.
@@SpencerJohnsonOfficial Wow that’s awesome! I’m trying to hold out just a little while longer because I just got a retention offer on my AMEX Platinum and have to spend $3k in the next 3 months to get 30k points and I should hit that spend here shortly and once I do I would definitely consider going in branch to apply for the CSP.
@@chrisbrown8748 Yeah man, definitely take advantage of that! And that's great you got a retention offer for your Plat card as well. Get all the points you can!
With the online grocery; is it any local grocery’s website or is it something specific like Thrive or Misfit Market? Chase still needs an in-store grocery multiplier. And Gas and EV…it’s almost user hostile at this point. Anyway, great stuff as always
I hope they do! It looks like they’ll do 80k online at least which is nice. And that’s great you’re under 5/24 right when you need to be! I appreciate you watching man.
You can only get 1 welcome bonus for the freedom cards I thought that was just for the sapphire cards ? I applied for both freedom cards like 3 moths apart and got both bonuses
Not exactly. You can one bonus on EACH of the freedom cards every 24 months. And you can get the same on the Sapphire cards every 48 months. However, you can only ever have one of the sapphire cards at a time opposed to multiples of the freedom cards.
I got the most I can out of the card after one year - 1) 100K opening bonus, 2) No annual fee in year 1 by applying in a branch, 3) $45 hotel credit, 4) More redemption value combining with my Freedom Flex. After year one though? meh.
Fair point! That's where we generally get the most value from our cards. Echoing L.K.s comment, how do you transfer to travel partners now without the CSP? Did you transfer them all out before downgrading/canceling?
Great video Spencer, how does chase charge their annual fee for this card? Do they charge an amount monthly or charge the whole $95 at once. I’d rather just pay it all upfront. I have one card and it’s like $8 a month and I hate it, I want to cancel it but it’s my first credit card I’ve opened so I have to keep it.
Thanks Joshua! They charge it all at once. I've personally never seen a card that charges it monthly, so thanks for teaching me something new! My CSP, Amex Gold, and Venture X all go through with one charge. Is there a way for you to downgrade that first card to a no-annual fee card or do you not have the ability to do so?
@@SpencerJohnsonOfficial there’s never been a way I could downgrade it, they waived it once for me but that was it. It’s the credit one visa 🤮 when you have no credit history you pick anything for that first card haha wish I would of started watching videos like these sooner.
@@joshuamyers7993 Ahhh Credit One is so annoying lol. But at least it got you started in the credit card game I guess. That sucks now though. At the end of the day, we all have different journeys in the credit card game and we all end up getting cards we regret, so I wouldn't stress too much about it.
@@joshuamyers7993 Open other cards first, start with 5 Chase cards not to worry about 5/24 rule in the future. Once you get your first two credit cards then cancel Credit One, the history of the card will stay for the next 10 years. I cancelled my Credit One card less than a year of having it and no regret for having the card in the first place. If your score is not high, Capital One and Discover are great cards to have.
So glad I have the Sapphire Preferred for the transfer partners, but wish I was able to get that 90,000 point in-branch offer. Got a 70,000 in-branch offer a few months back
The CSP is a really solid card for sure. Especially for those of us with a ton of Chase points. And don't beat yourself up about it... you can always get it again in 4 years 😆
So we can use the $50 hotel credit on the year we open the preferred card? I thought it was after the first year? “Earn up to $50 in statement credits each account anniversary year” that’s what it says??
I know, that has sucked. It sounds like as of this week their rolling out new connectors with Chase and Citi which should hopefully fix it. At least they gave us a free month of MaxRewards Gold I guess... definitely not ideal though.
Hey Spencer! I'm interested in starting RJs bank bonus methods but I don't know where to start with moderate income. Since you started it recently can you do like a "beginner tips and lessons learned" video. Might need to partner with RJ again.
That's a really great idea! Let me see if I can schedule another time with him to have him explain this better for us. I know his Run on the Bank channel has a ton of good info for beginners if you want to check that out, but I'd love to have him back on for that for sure.
If you transfer your chase points to a transfer partner to book a flight, is that flight covered under the travel protection under the chase sapphire card? Would you need to use one of the chase sapphire cards to have your flight have that travel protection? Like if you booked with points, but then paid the taxes and fees with your card, does that apply for the whole protection for that ticket? Just wanted to make sure as I know usually to get covered for the protections and insurances for things, you need to directly use the card.
That’s a great question. From what I’ve learned recently, your guide to benefits will outline whether you have to put the full charge on the card or just a portion of it to trigger the travel protections. I believe Chase is one lender where you only have to put part of the cost on it, but I’d check the guide to card benefits to really know for sure.
Sounds good. I don't have the card yet, but am looking to get it and heard that the Citi Premier card was going to have a higher welcome bonus and was thinking of getting that card too, but I know that card doesn't have travel protections so wanted to make sure about the Chase sapphire cards.
Ah that makes a lot of sense! Luckily the CSP is coming with an even higher SUB right now than the Citi Premier and has those travel protections too, so I’d personally go for that one first if you can. Especially if you have other Chase cards.
Thank you again for answering my questions and responding to my comments. I appreciate the time you take out of your day to do so and am looking forward to more of your videos.
I have an “already approved” online offer with 60K points. Should i try to go to a branch to see if the 90K bonus offer is available? If it is, will they still do a hard pull if I show them I’m “already approved?”
That's great to see they want your business! I would imagine that even if you accept the offer they gave you, they'll still do a hard pull once you accept it, so I would personally go in-branch to try and get that offer instead. Maybe I'm wrong, but either way, I'd much rather have a hard pull and get an extra 30k points than not have a hard pull and miss out on those. That's just me though!
for me this card is overrated. The multipliers are very underwhelming to me. The only good multiplier to me is dining. I Just don't see myself putting enough spend on this card to make it worth it
That’s a completely fair take on it! As you can tell by the video, I also barely put any spend on it. I only keep it open to transfer to travel partners really. But for that purpose it works super well.
@@SpencerJohnsonOfficial I am jealous of southwest as a transfer partner. But if I won't put much spend on the card there won't be much points to use. Plus southwest is generally cheap enough where I don't mind paying cash
@@TheAudioCzar Yeah I use Southwest a lot from where I'm located so I like that perk too. Granted they are pretty cheap either way, but if I don't have to use cash, I'd rather not!
No, you won't lose your credit history on that card. Product changing a card is a way to keep that account history alive and well. A lot of times you'll even keep the same card number!
Nice! You can definitely use the points earned from that spend for some high value redemptions. I just wish they made the Sapphire cards more powerful earners in general. Maybe one day!
@@SpencerJohnsonOfficial I have another question can I just have the ink business card without having the other credit cards what if I want that to be my only chase credit card
Airbnb: Sapphire Preferred 2X x 1.25 = 2.5X Base yourself at an Airbnb, then step away for a few days to an upscale Hotel for 5X x 1.25 = 6.25X Sapphire Reserve 3X x 1.5X = 4.5X Base yourself at an Airbnb, then step away for a few days to an upscale Hotel for 10X x 1.5 = 15X Venture X 2X x 1 = 2X Base yourself at an Airbnb, then step away for a few days to an upscale Hotel for 10X. And you bought your groceries for your Airbnb at 3X. And you did all your non-category shopping and got 2X.
Way to throw out another great video Spencer! If I may, I just want to give you all a heads-up if you are torn between these two cards. I think Chase is starting to be "low-key" a little more lenient w/ their "5/24" rule. If you want both of these cards, get the Amex Gold first, then wait 30 days and check your "Just for you" section on the Chase banking app. Here is my experience with both these cards. I was capped at "5/24" with Chase until December of this year. Last month on March 13th, I applied for the Amex Gold Card w/ a 708 Experian credit score and was approved. This put me at "6/24" making me ineligible for any Chase card's until atleast April of 2024. Well this morning, I logged into the Chase banking app to check my accounts, and in the "Just for you" section I saw Chase had recommended/ approved me for the Freedom Unlimited card w/ a $8K limit, and they also had recommended/ approved me for the Chase Sapphire Preferred w/ $15k limit, & 80,000 Chase Rewards point/ 100,000 if I use the points for travel. I had a 703 credit score before I accepted the Sapphire Preferred card, and after the hard inquiry, it dropped my score to 693. I should also mention... 1.) That my Amex Gold has still not posted to my credit reports yet either, so that also helped out. 2.) Chase uses the "My Credit Journey" credit score on your account to approve you for their cards as well🤙🤙🤙
Thank you Jason! This is all really valuable insight, so thank you for sharing it. I know they've been lenient on their business cards with certain people so I wouldn't be shocked if you're able to skirt their system if you receive a targeted offer. However, if you were to apply for it without having a targeted offer, I would expect a denial. But what you said is a very good thing to keep in mind and it's a great data point to have, so thank you for that!
Hey bud, we have similar channels. Any interest in doing a what’s in my wallet vid? Both jump on a zoom call and go over what we have and why we have it? Maybe it could help both our channels out a bit.

Everyone has their own opinion, that’s for sure! However, making a blanket statement that it’s not worth it for everyone is not possible to do. Everyone’s situation is different and this card can benefit a lot of people, although I can tell that is not the case for you!

Hyatts in Japan and Hawaii are easy examples to get >2.5 cents with ease per point. End of the day all about staying where you want.
Thanks Matt! I'm glad you liked the example. I always feel it's better to show people that when I can. This card is definitely a keeper for me solely due to to the transferability it gives me, but that's about it tbh. Thank you for being here man!
Exactly right! This was just a short weekend trip that took no preparation. I'm excited to get much more value than that down the line.
CSP is a great CC! Especially if you're running the Chase Trifecta. Thanks for the info + video!
I’ve noticed the improvement on the production! Great work always enjoy the videos
That means a lot!! It’s been a mix of trial and error and hiring out some qualified help when needed but I’m glad it’s noticeable. I appreciate you!
Love the deep dive gif 😂😂😂
Hyatt is king!
@@SpencerJohnsonOfficial Agreed!! Great points!
Have you considered downgrading it and getting the chase ink preferred for ur UA-cam business?
I always forget about the offers! That's great you were able to take advantage of that for UA-cam TV.
I actually just got my CSP with a 90k sign up bonus. Nice video man!
That's awesome man!! Congrats on that! I hadn't heard of anyone using that offer yet, so I'm glad to hear someone's taken advantage of it.
@@SpencerJohnsonOfficial Yeah, I had to drive an hour to a Chase Bank but it was worth it. I should have a video on my experience of it coming soon!
@@GarnerTed Oh nice! For an extra 30k points I'd say an hour drive is worth it 😆 I bet that video will be a great one man!
I personally love the CSP for the ability to gain access to Chase's transfer partners. That alone has made it worth it to me!
Exactly the same case for me! That’s all I need this card for and it does that really well.
That Hyatt scenario is such a great example of the POWER of the transfer partners (especially Hyatt).
I agree Chase! And this was definitely not the highest redemption possible... just one I did with very little prep, but it still paid dividends!
Have you ever had Capital One Venture? Would love to hear your experience!
The Bilt card is better to me
@@ow5966 It's definitely solid! Espeically with no annual fee. I'm excited to add that one in the future for sure.
Great review Spencer! I'm looking forward to applying for it when it becomes avaliable online!
Thanks Eric! I'm hoping it'll at least be the 80k offer so people can take advantage of a big offer without going in branch too.
@@SpencerJohnsonOfficial it was! Thanks man!
No problem!
Great card and must have if you have CFF/CF & CFU. I just wish that $50 hotel credit is used towards any hotel without using their portal.
Living in a US\Canadian border town, “no foreign transaction fees” are a must for me!!
I bet that's vital for sure! Is Amex widely accepted in Canada?
@@SpencerJohnsonOfficialit is, but not universally
I’ve been living under a rock and 40, successful business and haven’t been in the credit card game other than just turning my wheels with an AMEX gold. This is going to be a fun ride. Just got Chase Sapphire, reserve business AMEX platinum individual AMEX platinum and then individual AMEX gold. I screwed myself out of the Chase trifecta because I applied for too many AMEX cards.
I'm glad you're getting into it! Just be careful to not have too high of a velocity, but congrats on the new cards!
Hi Spencer! Really great video! I was wondering what card is your favorite if you decide to book with air BNB / VRBO?
@@SpencerJohnsonOfficial thanks for the clarification man! Best of luck in everything you doing
Should I upgrade my CFU to CSP or keep it and have both?
I like having Hyatt as a transfer partner. But I blew the whole Chase trifecta by not adhering to the 5/24 rule. That being said I’m going to Thailand next month and can get Hyatt Regency rooms for 8k points.
I agree! Hyatt is really solid. And that 5/24 rule is tough to follow for sure. That's awesome to hear you can get Hyatt rooms for so cheap. That in combination with the CSP is pretty ideal!
Wow
@SpencerJohnsonOfficial waiting 4 BILT to enter the mortgage industry, rumour has it soon ... .
With the online grocery; is it any local grocery’s website or is it something specific like Thrive or Misfit Market?
Chase still needs an in-store grocery multiplier. And Gas and EV…it’s almost user hostile at this point.
Anyway, great stuff as always
Local groceries work. It works for things like pickup
@@LK_EBM that eases the pain a little. But stupid to make customers do that. Though I guess if you’re rolling the CSP, Chase assumes you’d rather.
I agree that Chase should add an in-store grocery category. Or gas too! I'll take either lol. Maybe one day... thanks for the kind words man!
That's good to know!
Fair point! Glad to hear you can at least use it for curbside orders and such though.
If they put that offer online I will get out of the garden 🏡 and apply. 4/24 since July 2022 and 0 Chase cards. Thanks for the video and info 👍
After year one though? meh.
What's your plan to use your UR? How do you plan to transfer to travel partners?
@@LK_EBM I often transfer out to Hyatt, one of the best travel partner values of Chase.
- nope you get it as soon as you open the acct
As Doc said, you get it right when you open the card. That was my experience with it as well. Definitely nice compared to other credits out there.
Thanks for answering that for them! I had the same experience as you.
Only problem with max rewards is that the link between chase is still broken since the holidays :/
No problem at all! I truly enjoy it. I'm looking forward to more conversations to come!
I want to get this card but how do I spend 4k in 3 months … like what do I spend it on 😂
Also this would be my first chase card. Is it worth it for a travel card or should I get like the other chase cards to get points first ?
for me this card is overrated.
Does my credit history end with the CSR if I downgrade to the CSP?
No, you won't lose your credit history on that card. Product changing a card is a way to keep that account history alive and well. A lot of times you'll even keep the same card number!

If I may, I just want to give you all a heads-up if you are torn between these two cards. I think Chase is starting to be "low-key" a little more lenient
w/ their "5/24" rule.

NOT WORTH IT. CHASE IS OVERRATED
Everyone has their own opinion, that’s for sure! However, making a blanket statement that it’s not worth it for everyone is not possible to do. Everyone’s situation is different and this card can benefit a lot of people, although I can tell that is not the case for you!
