    In this video, I was having an issue with my Mercedes. I was out and about and when I parked my car, all was fine. Upon returning and I attempted to start my car it did not turn over. All the electrical was fine as I was able to put on my headlights and honk my horn with no diminished sound or light that would indicate it was the battery. So I proceeded to check the known relays etc. I even rigged up a bypass wire for the relay and still, there was nothing. I ended up getting it towed to my home that night. I did some more research and fiddling around the next day and I was able to finally fix the no-start issue. I discovered it was a blown fuse and not the starter relay that you usually see on other videos. #mercedes #nostart

    I have a car where the starter 20amp fuse keeps breaking/burn, is that most likely the starter going bad?

    • @MrSettin007
      @MrSettin007  5 місяців тому

      Unfortunately, it's overloading the system and blowing the fuse so the starter could be on its way out. Does it sound like it's struggling to start at times?

      Any update on your 20amp issue? Is it fixed or still blowing out?

    E250 doesn't crank at first try.
    But gets started on second crank.
    All ignition lights are ok.
    But on first crank attempt nothing at all.
    No sound.

      Check your battery health. Autozone can do it for free. If that's good, then the starter may be going out.

      If it sounds like it's struggling to start when it does. Then it could be the starter or battery.

      Not in this scenario. It wouldn't even crank at al. I would turn the key and get nothing. I did hear a faint click, which turned out to be a really sound. But, the issue was a specific fuse as I showed in the video.

      @user-devil667 if you can get a schematic of your Fuses and see which are specific to your starter. I would check them. At worst case scenario, it could mean your starter is going. Keep me updated on what you find out. 👍🏿
