Im proud to be a revert of thirty years. I have spent that entire time giving back to my religion because Islam has given me everything! Yes, the proof of the cake is in the eating of it. You experience him, you see the nur and the effect of it, and he says himself that there are hundreds of other speakers who have the same knowledge as him. What he was saying is what I interpret as ‘don’t make an icon of me’. How humble, too!

Mufti Menk is NOT a Salafi nor a Wahabi, but he is just a Muslim. He mentioned learning the Hanafi fiqh, but he respects all Muslims, yes including the Shias.

I'am facing difficulty in life becuase of the conflict between cultural/tribal practices and Islamic Teachings and I always get misunderstood as someone Extremist because I choose to follow Islam and it seems un acceptable to the elders, i jst responded carefully and extravagance kindness.
I dont mimd being referred to as extremist as long as Allah Knows what is inside my heart and I can freely talk to Him, aftr all He is The One whos gonna judge His Creation.

The last piece of advice given in the last part of this video. Wow.. very powerful. Masha Allah. I loved this podcast overall! Mufti menk was amazing as always! The host (Musa Adnan) was really good too. He asked the right questions and gave Mufti Menk plenty time to answer, without interrupting him. This is how is should be. Also, I love it when speakers give real life examples of the things that happened to them or others in their interviews, as it makes it easier to understand a specific point and it makes it a lot more relatable.
