  • I step though Pressure points to control the various levels of sample rate reduction on both bitcrushers. The 189-1 is in mode 15, short delay. This, combined with 2 instances of Clouds, Data Bender and Rainmaker add up to layers upon layers of subtle yet undulating patterns and rhythms all derived from a single source.
1-Plaits into A 189-1 bitcrusher (fx #15), then Ripples, then Clouds
2-Plaits into Geiger Counter, then HN VCF, then Monsoon (Clouds #2)
3-bandpass out of previously 2 mentioned filters mixed, then sent to Data Bender for rhythmic destruction. DB goes into Rainmaker to smooth out DB and emphasize different rhythms, then Disting (stereo filter) then FX Aid for a small amount of verb.
4-SSF entity bass drum into e560 for additional higher frequency, then Desmodus Versio, then VBrazil Overfolder.

I clicked for the rig, I stayed for the drone, which drew me in like a feather in the stream.

Very nice! What modules are used for modulation in this patch?

very little, actually. some very slow maths envelopes triggered by zorlon cannon move the two filter cutoffs every now and then, and kermit is modulating plaits a bit. but aside from that and pressure points, its all time-based fx that sound like modulation.
