I'm pretty sure that when Kalista uses "We" and has all the echoes behind her voice, she does not identify as the original "Kalista", but instead as the ultimate being of vengeance. This is the entity that offers a deal to others seeking vengeance, and has forgotten the details of her life before undeath. It's only when facing Hecarim that the original Kalista's sense of self shines through. He was the first betrayer who ruined her original life, so her hatred of him is so intense that it stimulates her original identity to emerge from all the other souls of the betrayed. It's so cool how she again starts using "I" and her voice no longer echoes as much!

Anyone else love seeing how the lesser characters like the Aristocrat interact with scary characters like Thresh and Elise? Normally the main champions don’t show fear towards other ones so this is an odd change. Maybe one day we’ll get a champ who is always scared :thinking:
Thresh is the kind of character I like. Everyone hates him and he knows it, but he can still push all their buttons. Also his voice is much more sinister yet conversational than the at times stilted shouting of others like Garen or Tyrndamere. Love how he almost shrieks with laughter at Kalista before composing himself. The other major one I like is Ledros. The acting sounds so authentic. That’s what I imagine that feeling sounds like when you have to let someone go. I love “Rest now my sweet” it sounds like he’s trying to stop crying, and “I will find you in the next life.” Bittersweet.
