I am 46. My parents bought the album for me and my older sister when we were kids and we loved it. My 2 year old now listens to the CD every night passed down from my 13 and 14 yr old niece and nephew. How Do You Talk To A Little Baby Goat is his favorite.
My grandmother used to sing this song to me many years ago and it made me smile today when I shared it with my daughter. Thinking of you today mimi....
A friend just posted a song of Tom T Hall's on FB, and in a nano second I remembered Sneaky Snake, and the "Songs of Fox Hollow" I came to youTube and found this. Thank God, and God Bless Mr. Hall and all the joy he gave me and the rest of the children with this wonderful record. I still have the original record that my mom bought for me in the early 70's along with the booklet. It's 'almost' worn out but the record is still in good shape. May it continue to reach the younger generations
Just a heads up on the booklet: I recently picked up a brand-new-sealed deadstock copy of the LP. It was stickered with the "Specially Priced Sound Savers" label. The booklet was NOT included with this copy. My guess is that it was omitted to help lower costs for the "Sound Savers" issue. If you want the booklet (and who wouldn't), make sure your copy has one! Fortunately I'd already had one that came with my previous copy of the LP.
