    I'm very pleasantly surprised- it's a premium economy product that actually looks premium! The cabin and seat look great and the main meal and its presentation is definitely a big step up from regular economy. The breakfast looked a little disappointing but I'd definitely consider flying on Emirates premium economy as a result of watching your video. Thanks for uploading this one!

      You’re very welcome indeed! For sure a more minimal breakfast however, this was served literally 2 hours after the main meal service to was more for show in my mind than anything else! Anyone who’s feeling a sodden desire for breakfast at 02:00 UK time I just find a little odd…

    I love the wooden detail found on the tray table and in the toilets. I wish more airlines would do this even in economy. Adds more warmth. Great video!

      It’s a really unique feature isn’t it. I’ve seen some woods used by Qatar airways in the business but it’s rare to see this much. Looks fab with the new design.

    Great report, thank you. My partner and I are, hopefully, flying with Emirates next year. We have upgraded to Premium Economy so your film and report were very useful indeed. I still think PE is worth that little extra and certainly not as much as Business which seems to me to be silly money unless you are extremely flushed. I also am very impressed with the fact that Emirates PE has designated toilets which you don't find on BA, but I haven't flown on other airlines so cannot compare.

    • @Travelsbydreamer
      @Travelsbydreamer  3 місяці тому

      Glad it was useful!
      Yeah for me, PE does tend to fluctuate significantly price wise but if you can get it at a relatively manageable premium over economy it’s well worth it, especially with the Emirates config on their 380’s shown here. Enjoy!

    not much details on seat especially during sleeping. The only reason I logged in to see a video is because I want to know about leg rest and how flat seat can be. That is the key factor of deciding between economy and premium economy.

    • @Travelsbydreamer
      @Travelsbydreamer  7 місяців тому

      Haha thank you! I think for that length of trip and looking at something cost effective, Qatar, Etihad or emirates economy would be my recommendation. If you can stretch to the emirates premium economy then even better but PE cabin pricing can vary massively as a % of the economy ticket.

      @Travelsbydreamer yeah emirates economy is pretty solid but if you were to pick either of these liners for business class, which one would you pick. I have some room monetary wise to expand into business class so I looking to find the better carrier to pick.

    • @Travelsbydreamer
      @Travelsbydreamer  7 місяців тому

      If it's business class, it's always Qatar Airways for me. From New York they do their flagship Q suite and it's still the best in the industry for my money. Might be nice to check out one of the refurbed EK 380's in their business also. I've found from the UK, Etihad to have been really competitive of late though so worth running all options on Skyscanner or similar. Safe travels :)@@arhamkhan8869

    • @Travelsbydreamer
      @Travelsbydreamer  7 місяців тому

      Yeah sure so, legroom wise they’re at 38 inches of pitch which is on standard with premium economy, up typically around 6 inches from the economy seats which makes a big difference. Recline wise, you’ll notice a big difference also vs economy with far more recline in the seats, the base of the seat also comes up to form a bit of a cradle type position for sleeping also. All in all, a big move up from economy, nice to have the additional seat width also.

    Spied QE2 sitting there as you came into land at Dubai. Next year we’re travelling on her successor to New York from Southampton. Just working out of the two Middle East carriers, would we fly Emirates or Qatar?….or perhaps Singapore, Qantas or others….I’m in the Antipodes, so any flight from here and back to here will be long haul….

      It’s always fantastic to see her on the way in. Very envious of your voyage aboard the QM2, I’d love to do that sailing one day!
      Tricky decision but for me, it would come down to price a little as to which one might be more cost effective at the time of booking. Qatar sadly still don’t do a premium economy so still quite a gap cost and experience wise with them whether you sit in economy for 20+ hours or enjoy business etc. Singapore are just so strong but for me, cost would dictate a little as the pricing between the airlines can often range significantly…

      That’s a really good question. I’ve never seen an airline who pushes their food service as much as Emirates. I’ve never asked though I must say as do tend to eat on the ground also 😅

    It would be great if you could say how much it cost - perhaps I missed that but for me, that's the primary concern! You mention that there are better premium economy -- can you tell us which airlines?

    • @Travelsbydreamer
      @Travelsbydreamer  9 місяців тому +1

      Rarely mention cost as really does depend on time of booking. This flight was £1,300 return from LHR - DXB but booked late. Booking well in advance, I wouldn’t look to pay more then £800 for this route in PE.
      Really good question on the other airlines. For me, the new JAL and Air NZ seats look far more interesting, adding way more legroom at 42 inches pitch and a significant amount more privacy. Airlines with higher service standards such as Singapore Airlines likely to be overall a better choice also. Didn’t go to heavy on it on this video but the EK crew are well behind service standards wise vs the worlds leading carriers.

    Due to the seats reclining further back, do you then feel enclosed in when the seat in front of you reclines? • @Travelsbydreamer
      @Travelsbydreamer  7 місяців тому +1

      That’s a really good question. On the recline front, I’ve never found it to be an issue, largely thanks to the additional space between the seats so whilst they do recline back further, you’ve got more space to accommodate it.
      Given how relatively strong the emirates economy product is, I’d be more tempted to go economy and business I think. Especially on the A380 with the bar onboard, just more of an experience 😃

You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will get viral views. If your channel is optimized and if the videos are SEO then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow.
