But the health department always checks there items and ingredients and it’s safe it’s just up to you I have a very sensitive stomach now that I’m older so I might stay away but I don’t eat alot if sweets anymore God bless

Salmonella comes from the outside of the egg, on the shell. It will cook out, but my point is, it's not the raw egg. It's that the egg gets contaminated with the bacteria on the outside of the shell. The 'news' never tells us the actual facts.
