Please, please, PULEEZ try the Flower Beauty palette! I have seen another UA-camr using it and it seems like a beautiful formula! I would love to see you create a look with that palette! I love my Bronze Seduction palette! I have had it for about two years. I have no complaints. Your makeup in this video is so pretty!
I feel the same about Pat McGrath. I picked up Bronze seduction last year together with Moonlit seduction and the formula for me was extremely subpar, especially the mattes. even the regular shimmers are just blah. I am purely keeping them for the special shades but even those I can often dupe with smoother formulas nowadays.
I certainly see a vibe here!! 😂I would def pick up the PM Bronze Sseduction again. I do hear that many people have issues blending the mattes. I've never had problems with mine. It is a drier formula but I haven't had any issues and I've had my palette for 3 or 4 years. Florasis is such a good brand. I bought a lot of their products and they are amazing! The palette I regret the most purchasing is the ND I need a Nude palette. I'm sorry don't come for me but it's so boring for me. I have to add a nuetral multichrome or my indie shimmers because the shimmers in the INAN are more like toppers and they don't even last an hour on my lids even with glitter glue. That's just my opinion and I know so many will prob not like my opinion about it. 😂 I just need a palette with alot more depth. Oh and Flower Beauty is a brand Judy and Anettes makeup Corner really like and they both have very different makeup styles. I love eye shadow, I only have like 2 palettes these days that I use constantly, I had lots of quads. Probably about 10 ish I think and then single eye shadow's. Which is probably about 10 again - I did have a clean out and get rid of quite a few. I use to b a Clarins consultant so I had ever shadow/ lipstick/ nail polish that they bought out every year. And they usually did 2 colour stories a year and bring out new foundations etc during the year. So basically every year I had a clean out as I had so much make up and I wore a different look almost every day ❤❤. Love the video, just brilliant 😊
Loved this video! So! I actually do have a couple of palettes that turned out to be duds: my Pat McGrath Labs Bronze Seduction was absolutely unusable for me. The shades were so dry I literally couldn't get them out of the pan and onto my eyes. It was a bummer. I threw it away because it became so anxiety inducing every time I would "give it another try." Also, at first I loved my Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes palette, but two or three months in, same thing, it hard panned and dried up and got so dusty that putting it on and wearing it was a mess. And that beautiful green shade became unusable very quickly. It turned super-chunky and dry. So two duds!
The flower knows lose powder is supposedly amazing people are raving about it . I have almost bought it a few times cause they say it looks beautiful under the eyes very finally milled and nondrying. I really want another CDP quad #1#3 maybe the purple one but wish they didnt put the frangerance in them it kinda bothers my eyes but i love the green one on . Love this video, u did a great job and Shane picked some good stuff.
My bronze seduction is old at this point 😅 BUT I had zero issues with it ! Mattes were great & the entire palette impressed me ❤ now the one that I did have issues with the mattes was my original midnight sun 😅 I think it’s batch issues honestly & I adore midnight sun & bought a fresh one (stickergate) 😂 but I’m excited to try it & see if it’s better; another thing I did notice is that my OG midnight sun had a way shorter shelf life than the sticker one 😅 I found that kinda interesting 😊😆🤷🏻♀️
Should calculate how much each makeup look costs, when only using a 150$ eyeshadow 3x times and other items similarly. I’m also guilty of this. IMO to justify a 200$ palette you have to use it 100+ times. Otherwise each application of multiple high end items used
I have the ND glam face light palette which I bought for travel and love it. Whenever I wear it people compliment my eye look, and its become a great travel and also every day palette for me. I don’t use bronzers and never did, so the combination of shadows with sparkle shades, highlighter and blush is perfect for me to get a full look. I also the highlight for my inner corners and under my eyes sometimes

I really like your honesty. You stopped me from making 2 mistakes on the Minka or the Charlotte Tillbury. I have several Sugar Drizzle and MBA Cosmetics palettes that are all shimmer and the colors are dazzling but I don’t do many all matte palettes so hard for me to use them. I think one or two all shimmer works but I think I have at least 10 from these 2 brands and a couple others!
My 6 shades from bronze seduction are terrible. The special shades are great except maybe the one under fire opal. I bought the palette a year and a half ago.
I bought my Bronze Seduction about a year ago, and the only matte that sometimes gives me problems is Extreme Aubergine, and I don't know if "problems" is the correct word as much as just it needs built up a bit, and can get patchy if I don't pack on enough and try to blend out too quickly. It can get a bit blown out, but fixes relatively easily. The only shade that makes me truly sad in that palette is Gilty Pleasure. It hardpanned basically immediately. It's still useable but takes some effort, but Bronze Blaze is buttery, smooth, and gorgeous. As for palette I don't think I'd repurchase....Zendo from ND. Yama was my favorite ND shade until Plantasia came with Yucca, and that dark matte in there is still beautiful, especially paired in other ND palettes. But overall wouldn't repurchase as I never even think about reaching for it, sadly.

I contacted PM and the sent another, as I thought it was just that palette but the one they sent was also sketchy. Certain shades didn’t work at all. So strange!

@@mirandaquinnn I picked it up during a glitch where I paid around 30% of the RRP (if that, maybe less). And mainly for the “special” shades since that green one is my favourite PML shade ever. So maybe if you see it on super special you might think it’s worth it. But yes, some of the shades are very odd textures. And yet my subversive palette that is getting on in years is still performing beautifully.

I really like the CT holiday palette. I love the mattes and all of the shimmers. I have the other of the Urban Decay Moondust palette and I love it, too. I have that same Florasis palette. I think the quality is outstanding, too. I’d honestly repurchase Mothership V for just VR Fire Opal. I know that’s crazy, but I love that shade without measure. One of the regular metallics is a dude for me. Like, I can’t get it to give any pigment at all. The only palette I’ve gotten in the past few months I don’t think I’d repurchase is the Sugar and Spice palette. I absolutely love Glaminatrix, but I don’t like the shades or formulas of the mattes in the center row at all. I never reach for it because of that. Of palettes I initially loved but don’t think I’d pick up again at this point, what comes to mind is the Circo Loco palette. I loved it when I got it, but I don’t gravitate toward it much anymore and it was in the giant $125 size and I’d not spend that again for my collection now.
I live in Aus too and have been asking Mecca staff since mid October when they will get the UD quad. They don’t even know what I am talking about haha. I purchased Glaminatrix 6 pan fairy lights palette instead. Can you tell me are the shadows similar? Is it worth purchasing both? Are the UD shadows moon dust more glittery? The CT holiday palette was a pass for me. Hugs
Hahah honestly (and I'm sure this isn't everyone at the stores) but I feel like a lot of them don't even actually like makeup lol The amount of times I go in there asking them about new releases etc they never ever even know what I'm talking about at all its annoying lol And I really do think they are both worth it cos they are very very different formulas to each other. I would describe the UD ones as a softer subtle version 💗💗
I haaaate that the florasis palette has the lid separate from the base and disconnected entirely (held together by magnets). I’ve caught the stinkin corner of the lid in a shadow so many times it puts me off using it. Such a hassle for such a small thing.
I’m curious to know how you would compare the Minka palette to the Glimmering creatures from Glaminatrix. You have really influenced me in buying the latter but to my eye they look a bit similar and I already have the Minka. Thanks for a lovely video! I’d love to see more of this kind of content.
Oh thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it :) So Minka is a lot thicker and more of a chunky glitter formula. I find it to behave a lot like traditional glitter shadows but the Glaminatrix ones are more of a cream, molten metallics with sparkle but the sparkle is super super fine so doesn't behave like the more chunky glitter. I don't know if that helps at all sorry 💗💗

It just didn’t grow on me, neither the formula nor the shade selection. I think their more recent releases have looked quite intriguing with some interesting textures in there so I might give them another chance.
My shimmers on my mother ship bronze seduction are tight and almost hard panned. I’ve seen this is a common thing. None of my other other motherships have that issue
While him picking palettes per his own taste is cute, I think it would be more helpful if you selected palettes that were popular or that a lot of people were interested in. E.g. Moondust, CT, both of the ND ones were interesting.

The CT palette is underwhelming. I feel the outer packaging is prettier than the quality of the actual shades. Wish the color story was a bit more cohesive and that the glitter and metallic shades just had a notch * more * umpf to them. A pastel green in there would have been nice. The three brown mattes are redundant. Hard pass to be honest.

I bought bronze seduction 2 months ago I’m having no issues I adore that palette, but I don’t use the aubergine shade so I can’t speak for that shade.
