The mix media teknik really has its positive effects! Such a cool drawing you made. Also I understand your process, I too enjoy colouring/ filling in the white paper rather than making the perfect perspectice and straight lines... So a projektor is an amazing idea!

I bet they didn't even have a battery powered eraser. They must have had crazy patience.
