- Опубліковано 4 жов 2024
- Wine Library's Director of Operations Gary Vaynerchuk launches WINE LIBRARY TV and his vision for it. He then turns his palate toward three commune-specific California Bordeaux-styled blends from the Verite` Winery: Joie, Desir, and La Muse.
I think this youngster shows a lot of potential. He could really make something of himself.
alot of potential haha?! he owns over 60 million bucks at least, just on paper
not sure you got the joke
Lol
Doubtful.... I think this kid has no future or any Idea what he is doing! haha #HeisaBoss
Good watching the money man make it happen
Who else was suddenly recommended this in 2019?
Same
same -_- ... how he do this?
@@reionnyx he didn't do it, its UA-cam's algorithm
Same, pretty legendary.
🙋🏾♂️
Watching this video made me realize that Gary is the most consistent content creator out here.
Great post and I kind of came to the same conclusion. Nice to see I'm not the only one.
Come on anyone in 2019!?
Yup! Now we gotta find Bezos packaging books 😏

I am here from 2039, time travel is now possible
Hard work does pay off, thank you for inspiring me Gary!
Love u Gary
Hard work your daddy's money and NFTs baby!!!💯
Disappointed! I came here expecting to see an extremely awkward Gary Vee. Struggling to figure out how to "UA-cam" things and what do I get?
The same Gary Vee I know and love!! This guy is amazing! When people say every journey starts with a single step. This is a Huge step and and very thankful that you took it Gary. Thank you.
Wow. Somehow he's even smoother here than he is now. Very down to business, and less cocky. Really knows his stuff. I agree, i was hoping to find awkward and shy, but he's on top of his game right off the bat.... damn. It's the DNA indeed. I can not do this.
FranticRock come on now. He had a 3 million dollar business and mentors. You can literally do anything if you surround yourself with the tools
💣💣💣
IX what about the work ethic part you decided to leave out? Information or the access to information isnt enough...or else everyone will be successful today because of the internet.
masterpieceix then do it! I hope you surrounded yourself with the tools 1 years later. I’ll subscribe, like w.e lmk
It’s crazy how even in his first video he looks so calm and like he been doin it years already lol
I think this kid has potential... lets see what he does in the next 10 years.
Ha! Awesome.
Kid? He was like 31 lol
Black Film Guild this kid is 30 years old
Think that went over a few people's heads mate. I lol'd.
@@bradenjanderson lol literally
How many real hustlers are diligent enough to watch his first video? Everybody say they truly love and him and follow everything he does. Only the real hustlers got this deep! S/O to Gary Vee. Hope you see this.
Russell Ballard Jr | real hustlers got no time for this shit...
Why so concerned about what other people do or don't do? Do your thing, leave the rest alone. Yeez.
Russell Ballard Jr i definitely agree. I love seeing where people come from. I love technology and the power to track back 10+ years with ease.
Russell Ballard Jr You too brother, you too. 👊🏼
Russell Ballard Jr way to show respect get your money do you. Don’t cast doubt for other people anyone who can read your comment has watched this video. Keep grinding G I’ll look for your name
I'm 23 me and my business partner were frustrated today because we were not growing our digital agency "Fast" Thanks for helping me take a step back.
Gary, you're an inspiration to us all!
He still is.
Did this guy know.. he is the first commenter on gary vees first youtube channel 😲😍
Holy crap
Huzaifa Memon unfortunately this was a reupload, so we’ll never really know who was the very first but also this dude left his comment three years after it was uploaded so it’s probably someone commenting after he first started getting tv coverage.

Thank you for keeping these videos up and showing where and how you got this started. It’s nice seeing it versus hearing about it, and just noticing the growth in yourself and your videos. This is the stuff that motivates me knowing what the final results are and the work put in between. 🔥
Every vblogger shoukd watch this. Episode one, raw and real. Authentic Gary. Ghetto production. Talking about “bringing value”... 11 years later he’s stayed true (with a massive increase in learnings around production) and continues to bring it. Thanks GV!
Most wont though. People want instant satisfaction and don't understand the years it taked to be successful.
Finally watched the first episode of Wine Library. Gary Vee was a smooth operator even on the first show.
Natural salesman!
Started from the bottom now were here
Gary is actually getting better looking with age!
agreed!
Like a fine wine some would say.
He's actually getting exponentially older. He has aged like 20 years in the past 10 years. He's starting to look like a grandpa now.
Agreed!!!
youre just looking at his pocket, be honest. He seems extremly old now, working hard pays off in the body as well.
Confidence is so strong right from the beginning. I can't find flaws with Gary V. I just can't find any.
+PhranKommentaries Honestly, I can't either.
+PhranKommentaries , look where Gary is today, the important is that he made the first step, and now he is very very very successful, you d better start with something too my friend
Arno Cuevas 🔥🔥🔥
Antoine Frage you are right start now
It’s the way he was raised which he himself even says.
His mom and dad raised him super confident and full of self esteem.
Thats powerful.
I wish my parents did that to me. Except I was put down and abused throughout my childhood lol
I wonder how many of the people who have recently discovered Gary have actually taken the time to watch this to see how far he's come 🙌🏼🔥🍷😊
Cristian Here
Wow, when you posted this I didn't even know Gary... Some name someone said in and interview.. 'like what Gary does' or something, or 'top ten tips by Evan Carmichael' and then I saw this jumpy guy. I really like the Keynotes that take a long time, so much value, connection etc....
Cristian he was already a millionaire here lol
Hans his dad was. He worked to gain his own success.
This was 2006 and his business was already worth $60.000.000
"… something that can really bring VALUE to you, the viewer."
Gary Vee is one of the most remarkable personalities of our time.
4:34
Gary in 2006: "We picked up this cool camera. We hope you like the quality. We do."
Me in 2019: *Watching 240p video on a 4K display*
Hahahaha this made me laugh
It exists!!! im impressed; )
I love this! Thank you Gary V!
The confidence is remarkable even in the first video. Hats off Gary..
Them zoom in/outs were what made this most special! Much love Gary!
I was thinking same thing. Always trying to be your best no matter where you're at.
there are few hidden potentials in this guy that i could feel in my bones. He could be a speaker or building a decent company ... I will definitely be back here the next 10 years to see how far this guy could be!
(Vietnam - 24/4/2010)
This guy needs to learn how to hustle, I mean I wonder what he would say if I told him that "this is the last Monday of your life?" pfft slacker.....:-)
by Kevin Samuels Are you stupid or something?
It’s sarcasm dude Jesus Christ
😂😂
How do you guys compare you’re life style with “this guy” now in 2020?
@@passionprojects437 most likely living check to check now and forgot all about this video and their comments lol
After seeing "Overnight Success" (which is hands down my favorite of all time. Listen to the podcast version on the way to work everyday) I had to come see this. It's really cool to see how much you've grown and how visionary you were even back then. You've made a huge impact in my life and I appreciate everything you do.
I did exactly the same :)
Same
Anyone watching it's in 2019 ?

"Tough to spit silk." Probably my favorite wine line. Great to see the very beginning of a legend. :)
The beginning of the legend
keeping talking and shooting content without script and without pauses shows how much work you have been putting even before the first episode. a true Visionary and Hustler.
He is an absolute natural. To think that at this time recording yourself on anything and posting it was super foreign. He kills it.
Why is this recommended to me after 12 years.....!!!
Same!
same
Haha forreals. He talks about being meta all the time! He planned this from day 1 with his circle back with empathy wine 😂😁
@@Bdeala I didn't get it?
So fun to watch his younger self in action.
did anyone else not care for wine until watching Gary's videos? 😂
Who's here after reading Crushing It! ??? :D So inspired and excited watching this video. Look how far we can all come :)
It's amazing to see how this all started. From 2006 to 2019, it really puts it all into perspective how the hustle helps you grow.
Operation Unknown no substitute for hard work man that won’t change
The guy has a gift of talking, great memory, rattles off details of each and every wine without footnotes or q-cards . He has an innate unique gift that very few people possess and very difficult to teach.
This is crazy 🔥 And he mentioned South Africa woooo 🇿🇦
We need to free SA from its bloodsucking invaders
I was a fan of Gary Vernerchuck from early days as wine reviewer. I am glad he has grown up and contributed so much more to the world through Veyner Media now. Congrats.
Gary is legendary.
This is a super inspiring
Over the years he never stopped 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I'm going to date this day of me watching this for the first time
28/8/2020
I never thought I’d say Gary is adorable. But this just warmed my heart and I’ll just say, Gary is flipping adorable here!
Better Than Dreams adorable but fucking deadly. Hope you’re doing your thing. If you have a channel or business please post a link here I’ll follow and market for free
Nice to see this first show Gary
Safe to say Gary is not an alcoholic. Over 1,000 episodes and he turned out just fine!
Episode 1! OMG
Such a classic episode, the start of it all for you Gary. It's incredivle to have this documented, and I'm feeling so grateful to still be able to witness this.
What a long way you've come. This is so different from your current DailyVee vlog. Everyone who watches your current channels should watch this Episode 1 to fully understand what you talk about and the amount of work you've put in to get there. I'm surprised this video 'only' has 100K views.
UA-cam should suggest it after each DailyVee episode.
Cheers Gary. As a wine blogger, and aspiring influencer in that world, I'm a big admirer of your work :-)
Santé from France, from Julien
Who's watching this in 2019? I discovered his speeches recently and i just had to shine some light on where he started. such an amazing journey!!
Wow. This is where the journey of great Gary Ve began. I really appreciate all the content that he puts on all his platform on a consistent basis. Have a learned a lot of things from him. I have seen so many of videos that i think i have started to even sound like him. But kidding aside. I needed to watch this to get some inspiration.
It's really hard to get a sense of how innovative and forward thinking this was at the time, when looking through the lens of today, and it's great to see that Gary V remains the same to this day. Visionary & endlessly driven!
Here is 2019 (13 years later). And we shall admit that this is amazing how good prepared he was there already.
I had goosebumps watching this!
This is legengary.
Great Job Gary building your empire 10 years ago!!!! You have gone so far!!!! so inspired!!!
10:45 one of the first moments that gary knew that he was goin hard. The internet was the future and he wanted people yo know it. What a great job well done!
Gary Vee is a beast.
too much coffee
I come back time to time to see where he came from so I can get reinspired
Watching to kick off 2017 on the right note!
Marco Sánchez hope 2020 is even better the 2017 brother!
Earn your leisure brought me here 💯
"We hope you like the quality" lol. We've come a long way since 2006. I can't imagine how bad the "camera that stunk" was.
I watch this from time to time to remind me to not fear starting something new.
2019 and I"m watching this for the first time... wow. Origins. Pretty cool.
You were a natural right from the start, Gary. Thanks for everything you do for us. x
A Legend Sipping Wine
6:18 "We're losers" - I love that
Being a fan of the Gary Vee show I had to come back to 2006 and see the 1st episode. Gary had vision and an innate intuition about the technology; I am proud to say my UA-cam account was set up that same year.
I had to come back and watch this... and it amazes me that Gary is still the same honest blunt person he is now, long life to you honestly
Gary I love seeing this - the BEGINNING! You really changed my life man!
Inglês com Clarence what changed in your life? Did Gary awaken something within or create something new for you?
This is such an inspiration looking at the first episode!
Time to start all over with episode 1, repeating everything as an all over interested fresh wine lover. Thanks for everything Gary - WineLibraryTV is so great!!!
Classic. Love it Gary. We all start somewhere, but the most important thing is we must never give up. Keep rising high and lifting other up Gary. Much love.
This had been my first step towards my ongoing addiction - alcoholism :)
Thank you gary
10 years! Patience is what I learned today
Fun to watch...he was indeed ahead of everyone!
Gary - I'm so surprised that it took 3 years to get your first comment on Ep. 1 of Wine Library TV! But, great vision to start then!
This is the most calm and subdued version of Gary I've ever seen.
Really enjoyed watching how it all started.
OMG.... that was groundbreaking in 1994 ! Yup, there was life before the Internet kids. I love your long game Gary! Back to 2019 I go..... 💙
Good Wellesley Dogs Training the internet has changed this for sure. Where you an entrepreneur before the internet?
This is AMAZING!! Watching it in November 2017. GaryVee is a legend :)
This is so intense! It's super inspiring to see him leap into doing this, knowing STILL that he wanted to buy the Jets and having the foresight to start making videos in 2006! Inspiring
As an entrepreneur I've been binging on your AskGaryVee podcast all summer. Love it love you! And now I love this too. My husband is a big Robert Parker fan so I know he'll be interested in seeing more of you. Thanks Gary!
T Langhans what’s your business? I’d love to be a customer of yours.
Another channel recommended checking this out to show how much Gary V has grown. He seems to be doing an amazing job here. Way better than my first video. He's a natural.
Passion for your product and brand genuinely shows from you first video till now, I only came across you week ago and have see over 45 videos some over again, but more importantly acted on them. #garyvee respect for being authentic!
Same
Watching this video for the first time in july 2016, I love how the concept of bringing added value to the consumer is present this early on your career and still is today. Mad respect.
UA-cam just listed this in my recommended list Gary. So, here I am.
EXACTLY! THat's how much Gary V we must be watching.. Lol 💪
Wow. Fascinating to see this history.
Yes gary, the cool new camera looks just great!
This is and will always be one of the most amazingly inspiring videos for me... following GARY’S journey simply gives me goosebumps
Who's watching it in 2017 ?
Rai Ravello I come back to his every year
Like a vision but I see with clarity...
Definitely still watching this!
Awesome stuff
right here right now
I am watching it in 2019 because he said he looked like a hostage in his wine videos. LOL!! He was completely right!
M Gee Buay OFFICIAL lmao he was scrappy af. Raw video man he straight up looks like Joey from friends in this video.
Nearly 13 years since Gary Started on this platform. I was 6 years old. Hot damn.
Wyatt Simkins you got this man! Crush it. You need anything or work experience, shit you need a work referral I got you. 7864362377 lmk.
The camera went off, but solved it and did it 6 hours later. This showed me the commitment and excitement he had that day. I was able to feel his attitude when hitting the table and saying he believed in the videos as a new way to communicate and interact with his customer, but it went beyond that... way beyond that. You know the story.
Is it too late to chat about the wine and head over for a visit?
No matter how old this video was. The principle in social Media Marketing remains the same.
PROVIDE VALUE. 💚
Really cool to see where it all started!
You are right, but I read his family business was already 3 Million, and he enlarged it to 60 Million. Or that is normal in US? I mean the 3 Million business.
Edres Mn Yes 3 million in sales ..but that doesn't mean you are taking home that much ..it goes to business expenses and growing your brand...He paid himself 40,000 grand a year for a long while.
And now 60 Million is large enough right? Thank you for the answer by the way Madden!
Edres Mn Haha Yes. .Yes plenty but thats his dads money he built the wine business as a thank you for his parents. He has way more than that now from investments and other endeavors . ..no worries mate
I’m loving this! Watching where it all started! Love ❤️ Gary Vee!
Been watching for a while but randomnly. Now I'm starting with #1. Excited.
mainstream sux that excitement better be put to use. Few things really get the excitement going so I hope you followed through. Anything you do post a link and I’ll do everything I can
Would like to say to Gary vee and his audience that he has inspired me with his straightforward personality
Karlo Russo inspired you to do what? I want to know, follow and appreciate.
Lol I love seeing this now
I love marketing and I love wine. This is great to watch and learn from the master himself and understand how much he really knows about wine. Throw down, Gary!!!
I've been following Gary on snapchat, and read Jab, Jab, Right Hook and now listening to #AskGaryvee on audible. I HAD to look back and see his first episode. This was great! No fancy text, no fancy editing, just GREAT value and of course Gary's charisma! Glad I came here to check it out. I'm learning a ton from this guy and can't wait to see where my business goes from here!!! Thanks GV!!!
and the sirens about 5 minutes in are great!
