lost eden was my favorite n=band ever since i heard cycle repeats, same lead singer in this band and there old bassist is the singer, im looking forward to this with great anticipation.
Good to see bands not using the same generic beats over and over. Plus a vocalist with pipes unrusted by the overuse of clumsy gargling and sluring. I expect only good things. To all the hater, try to give critiques rather than complaints or throw your hands in the air and just dont care.
Even if Metalcore is not my cup of tea, I can easily dig bands like KSE, DYK, Hatebreed and this one (EOTD). Norio is a FUCKIN' BEAST. Too bad the Chick is no longer in the band... I also recall they were signed by Metal Blade...
@kastielle27 can you explain why santana has a percussion line. why does it matter the music is good and I have seen these guys in concert and they fucking rip the roof down.

But I definantly know what your saying, these guys are good but let's face it, not as good as before. Me, I'm just a concerned fanatic trying to give my input which, in one way or another, could definantly prove to be beneficial.
Japan has quality Metalcore with it's oldschool elements, check out J-Metalcore bands like A Ghost of Flare, Crossfaith, Artema, DEATHGAZE and Lost Eden (along with others) \M/
@Luke95ish I don't think they're that bad :3 I did personally prefer Lost Eden, but with them disbanding they've tried another style and didn't do it too badly, but yeah, it's still nice to see that they're still in the music scene. :D

Metalcore is a mix between heavy metal and hardcore music. AS I lay dying is once again Metalcore which is a cross between hardcore and heavy metal. Celldweller is industrial and depending on the song it is rock or metal. Breaking benjamin is alternative metal. You could also say they are post-grunge, which isn't metal.

The singer and drummer used to be in a band called Lost Eden. Look for "Story or Reality" by them. Amazing song.
