I started watching your videos 2 years ago with no experience in crochet. I became extremely poorly and still am now; I needed something to focus on to fill time in my day but wasn’t physically demanding. After seeing one of your videos I thought I give crochet a go. I have learnt everything from your videos as you explain this craft so well. I am now able to crochet a range of blankets, scarves, baby cardigans, Toft animals and many more items. I just wanted to thank you as you honestly kept me sane over these past few years 🥰
I have to give you a very big thank you. I decided upon learning to crochet as a lockdown project. I tried learning from a book. I think learning Rocket science would be easier. Then I found you on UA-cam. I am definitely getting better xx
I really appreciate this video. I love moziac crochet and dislike fringe. It was wonderful to see someone demonstrate this technique for hiding the ends in a border. I was aware of it but had never seen it done. It gave me more confidence to work on some projects I put on hold because of never having watched anyone so this. Thank you so much.
Working on a baby blanket and whining about all the tails. My friend told me about the envelope stitch so here I am!!! Great video! Looking forward to finishing it with this border. 😀
I am a lockdown crochet learner....I have learn everything about crochet from you...like the chain, stitches everything....you are my crochet master 🌼😇❤ I have tried to make some of the beginners project watching your videos....I will share them on Instagram to show you...I made them with threads...so they're a little tiny...😁 hope you will love to see them ❤😇 love you ❤❤❤
I've known how to crochet for years, it's always been something to do when I needed to mentally relax. Recently I discovered mosaic crochet, and in the process learned I could do borders such as the third technique in the video, which I can use on a lot of my projects. I wish I learned this sooner, mosaic crochet is so satisfying to work
This has helped me greatly. I started crocheting 6 months ago after taking a 2-year break. Your tutorials helped me learn again and I can not be more grateful. You helped me finish learning what my great-grandma started teaching. A million thank you's. xxx
Thanks for this technique I'm going to use on a Afghan I'm working on that has color change every 12 rolls i think it would look great and that would hide the strings on the ends I like your videos your very clear at exposing and showing the technique
I’ve crocheted for YEARS but I’ve never seen this amazing, beautiful border to tuck in yarn ends!! Makes so much sense!! Lovely, clear, and concise explanation too. Thank you!
Hello! Thank you for sharing this border tutorial, it’s very lovely! ✨ I was wondering, do you have any helpful information for converting overlay mosaic patterns to inlay / inset mosaic crochet? I see so many patterns for overlay but I prefer inset, but am still too new to know how to convert the two. :( Any information would be helpful!
You're welcome, I'm glad you like it! 😊 If you pop over to my blog posts for overlay and inset mosaic crochet, you'll find the links to the charts for each one which you can compare: blog.bellacococrochet.com/inset-mosaic-crochet/ and blog.bellacococrochet.com/overlay-mosaic-crochet/ You can see that the chart for the inset mosaic method is very similar to the overlay method, except that each row is doubled as you work back and forth. I think this would be a good starting point to learning how to convert one to the other 😊
We work in the back loop only so that in subsequent rows, we can work a taller stitch into the front loop; this is how this particular type of mosaic crochet works 😊

I use the envelope border for Tunisian Entrelac blankets.
Thank you !
You're welcome :)
Omg. That’s interesting. I would hide my yarn by insert my yarn within my yarn. It’s is hard. Thank you for information.
You’re welcome 😊
Im early I love your content
I’m doing the second method but it’s making my ends wider than the middle of my blanket. Does this happen to you? Or how do you avoid it?
What can I add to the border to girlie it up?
I would use a couple of yarn and put it at the ends.
I've stumbled upon a question. What's the point of mosaic crochet if you can just do tapestry crochet???
Why only in the back loop?
We work in the back loop only so that in subsequent rows, we can work a taller stitch into the front loop; this is how this particular type of mosaic crochet works 😊
Wordy, just get to the point
Thanks!
Thank you SO much 🥰
