One thing I really like about this medley (and props to NOMA, god damn!) is how well it replicates the sound of the original song while also giving the song its own unique twist and sounding distinctly different if you listen to the two back-to-back. The Bonfire segment in particular is nearly indistinguishable! also I'd love a full verson of that SICK as fuck big blue remix
Love the small touches: - The records on the DJ set are octagonal. - The numbers that are on the bottom go up to eight. - Jack Black is wearing a red octagon necklace. - Background screen has eight sides. Tell me if I missed anything, aight?
Let’s all sign a petition for this entire melody to play in the next Macy’s thanksgiving parade when the Sesame Street float arrives. And also have Jack Black with the stop sign reenacting their classic octagon scene as a long musical with this in the background. That would be amazing.
It's pretty amazing how there's so much detail and visual interest in this video. The details in the art. The lighting and background changes. Jack and Elmo bobbing along with each beat change. The original videos being shown off in the background. It makes me want to keep watching along, even when it's just an instrumental to listen to alongside the original. Props to always going the extra mile, even on something like this.
The animated backgrounds for the Bonfire and Rock My Emotions segments are gorgeous. I would have personally loved to see a side-by-side comparison, with the original videos compared with the parts in the collab, but I guess there's only so much you can fit on the screen at once
@@fatmeatball Yes but those are the original songs, very good mind you but not what I'm looking for. I'd love to hear the remixes they made just for their colab.
*Seriously, that was an amazing collab!* Nice work and fantastic job! P.S Thank you for adding all the video game refs (especially Super Paper Mario) and releasing all these fantastic remixes of these sick tracks! Love the heart of fire theme!!
This is honestly one of the best collab medley arrangements I've heard. NOMA was an absolute rockstar. I loved the collab, and hope those who are on the team have seen my reaction video. You all did amazing.

Jack and Elmo stop bouncing for a brief moment - At 5:34, Jack sinks underneath the table, a reference to the original video, where Jack disappears, with only a silhouette to represent him - At 5:35, Elmo starts to bounce again - At 6:03, Jack slides back up and the screen flashes lightly - During the Big Blue segment, the lights change to light blue - At 6:29, the screen flashes lightly - During the Smooooch・∀・/Kokoro Odoru segment, the lights change to blue and purple - On the billboard during this segment, both of the original source videos are overlayed on top of each other - During the Fukkireta/Kokoro Odoru segment, both of the original source videos are overlayed on top of each other - During the Oshama Scramble/Nuclear Fusion segment, both of the original source videos are overlayed on top of each other - At 7:17, the screen flashes and the background turns gray, the silhouettes of Jack and Elmo barely visible, but their glowing bracelets and billboard still lit up - At 7:20, the entire screen darkens, the silhouettes of Jack and Elmo barely visible - At 7:21, the screen lights up again, and the billboard displays the Beelzeboss (The Final Showdown) scene from the movie "Tenacious D in The Pick Of Destiny" - During the Beelzeboss segment, the lights change to blue and purple. Jack and Elmo also stop bouncing for this segment - At 7:52, the scene fades out and the collaboration's logo zooms in the middle of the billboard, slowly expanding after the initial zoom in - At 7:55, the screen flashes white, and then fades to black
Nobody's talking about how they made another YTPMV just to go in the background and had to keyframe the bard of Jack and Elmo. Even the soundtrack's video is amazing.
A lot of these videos in the background seem to be the original videos that the songs in this came from. I at the very least recognize the footage of fort Francis from the first jack black remix of it.
Thank you guys for all of the amazing collabs. I’ll never forget the first time I ever listened to 8 sides of Nico Nico Douga... I was so infatuated by the fact that a group of people could come together to make a ytpmv so huge in scale and quality. It’s been a real pleasure coming back for each new video over the years.
There isn't another one coming. The description of the original collab says "The third and final collaboration is finally complete." Besides, it will just ruin the fact that this channel has *8* videos uploaded.

You surprised me with Inada, and then right after it was FORT FRANCIS which I have NEVER HEARD ANYWHERE BEFORE BESIDES THE GAME ITSELF and I died. I love this collab to death
I fucking love Fort Francis, i can totally understand why it's completely overshadowed by other songs in SPM's soundtrack but a few remixes wouldn't hurt

I was so surprised when I saw camellia was involved with this lmao
I love how the background video shows the original remixes, super cool!
Jack and Elmo getting ready for the King for Another Day tournament.

Jack Black is checking if there are any electrical wiring problems.
Love the small touches:
- The records on the DJ set are octagonal.
- The numbers that are on the bottom go up to eight.
- Jack Black is wearing a red octagon necklace.
- Background screen has eight sides.
Tell me if I missed anything, aight?
The backround screen has 8 sides!
Many people miss this detail, but elmo is in fact also holding an octagon in his hand :troll:
The glasses jack's wearing are half octagons.
Also the fish is a stock image
Also for snow goose they kept the joke going and made Jack disappear
Let’s all sign a petition for this entire melody to play in the next Macy’s thanksgiving parade when the Sesame Street float arrives. And also have Jack Black with the stop sign reenacting their classic octagon scene as a long musical with this in the background. That would be amazing.
I don't know if Sesame Street wants to be involved with anything that includes "sucking Elmo's octagon"

I wanted to write the same thing!

The animated backgrounds for the Bonfire and Rock My Emotions segments are gorgeous. I would have personally loved to see a side-by-side comparison, with the original videos compared with the parts in the collab, but I guess there's only so much you can fit on the screen at once
I really enjoy the fort francis part and how it hypes you up by counting. Great job on this whole octoganal beauty.
