    No matter how long my hair gets, I always prefer the purple and red rollers. The grey always had my hair looking too flat.

      @@jeribuckner3481 hey Luv, they sell them in most beauty supply stores. If you want a lot of body use the red and purple. If you want more of a relaxed look, use the gray. For best results go to a beautician who does roller sets.

    This is beautiful. I just roller set my hair and I’m sitting under the dryer. I am watching this video to figure out what I do once my hair is dry. Just curious, why did you use two purple rollers instead of all gray? BTW that wrap was flawless!

      Hi dear😃 thank you for the compliment . The purpose of the purple rollers which is smaller than the gray, is to give the shorter hair at the front (layers) a little more curl to frame her face nicely .

      Hi Kimberly! You are most welcome. Yass try it don’t dilute your foam use full strength apply to the hair once and if the hair drys out before you finish setting just add water to wet the hair

      Hi! Yes absolutely. For tighter curls use smaller rollers.

      @@margaretsmallwood171 the key is to make sure the hair is moisturized and that you roll your sections on to the rollers properly with a little tension. And make sure the hair is dried properly before removing the rollers. Also a good idea is to allow the rollers to cool down before removing them.

    I agree roller sets are such a healthier option for styling relaxed hair or any type of damaged hair instead of using direct heat from blow dryers and flat irons. Relaxed hair doesn't need all that heat....

      Okay, you will get an amazing finish with what ever you use. You can even just use leave in conditioner.

    if you used proper roller sticks instead of pinclips you wouldn't get roller marks. i know they are easier to use but they mark the hair every time

      You are right, however roller sticks have to use with too much tension which is not good for a relaxer treated hair, it is the best option for natural hair.

    She used some heat off camera. It wasn’t laying like that before the end of the video. We’re not fooled. If she didn’t use heat, we would’ve seen her style it with the part and the bang on camera.

      Wow… all of my videos in here are done the exact way I said it’s done my channel is catering to beginners and and those who want to learn about their hair and how to care their hair in any state. P.s I have no reason to lie about how I do my work. Also please remember that nothing is wrong with putting heat on the hair. “Heat is not the enemy the user of it is”.

      If you would like a nice finish on your roller set, all you need to do is brush the hair to get out roller marks then wrap leave for 2 to 5 mins then comb down and you will see the magic 🪄

      Go back to the video and look at her hair in it’s dry state and tell me where you see unhealthy hair.

      @@haircareataglance I’ve been in the hair business, honey, since 1982 as a cosmetologist and an instructor. I’m telling you the ends look thin and porous. The hair needs bond building from the chemical and mechanical breakdown. Lack of growth and damage on clients and my hair is not a problem. The comment wasn’t a jab. It is a professional observation.

      Yep, the ends look just as bad the second time as the first. Cut the ends. There’s no point in holding on to them. Yes, the final product looks decent. If my students let a client leave like that, they wouldn’t pass the course.

      I did not use lotta body on her. Her hair is very soft and tangle free so there’s no way combing through her hair means stressing it.
      NB I’ll never stop working on my craft.
