Najee wasn't put in a good position to do well because of the play calling. The Defense however played well enough. And honestly there isn't a Defense in the league that could holdup with the kind of time of possession the Eagles had over the Steelers. I think we had 6 minutes TOP in the second half.
The defense gets a few turnovers for us yet they still end up on the field for 40 minutes.....they gave our offense an 11 yard field and we come up with a field goal.....you cant beat good teams like that very often.....that kind of play can keep bad teams in the game 😅
Not this time. If he fumbled in some random game at a random time then fine. But when he just muffs the ball completely on his own in a crucial game and kills every ounce of momentum the steelers had, he does not get a pass. This is what separates good running backs from the great. Cant make simple bonehead mistakes like that. Najee has to go after this season.
@@off-seasonproductions4715exactly. This wasn’t a classic fumble on a tackle this was a RB who was in a big moment in a game dropping an easy pitch that I’m sure they practiced 1,000 times before. You can’t make that mistake at that time
I don't agree with Tomlin punting that ball away on 4th and 7 down 14. I think the Steelers need to run the ball more with Najee early in a lot of different looks start pulling more guards to lead blocks for him get him to the second level. I hate that he only had 6 carries all game and yeah he dropped the ball and lost it but man that's football every single player has made mistakes even really bad ones like that. Pittsburgh will get over it and move just gotta learn from this experience lost to a really good team that was hot. Baltimore is next let's get that win and take the division
I don't teally care about Najee dropping a pitch; it's not like he has a history of dropping pitches or fumbling in general. Every other problem we saw isn't even indicative of what the Steelers are known or how they're gonna perform going forward. Against strong comp in the regular season or playoffs, I don't expect us getting costly personal foul penalties at the goal line or dropping pitches/losing fumbles. The defense and special teams still looked good despite a couple of outlier plays; we still won the turnover battle, but the offense has to capitalize, and getting GP back will help with that.
Our offense is actually so terrible without pickens we desperately need another receiver, just imagine if we had davante. Najee lost us the game but it isnt entirely his fault also its the only time hes really cost us a game. We have to draft a receiver in the first round this year, nothing else really takes priority
Claypool precedence hits hard. I think our board is traumatized by what happened with him and it’s drafting guys to improve our OL, which is a safe option
yeah... i NEVER get worked up and yell during reg season games but brother... when i tell you i was yelling... i was YELLING! you said it best.. what the actual fuck were we doing out there??????????????
Look, they have been tossing the ball like that back to him for the past couple of games and I was thinking it's inevitably a recipe for disaster......................................and I was right!
Sadly that play should be a reason not to resign just get a cheap running back that will do the same shit anyways but atleast he wont be paid 10M+ a year
Nah, once we figure out how to start games as well as we end them we'll be fine. We had momentum until Najee dropped it, and we didn't have Pickens either. Gotta run more with Warren to start as well
I dont understand why tomlin denied the eagles penalty that would of set the eagles back with a 1st and 30. Instead gave them a 2nd and 20. What about playing for field position?
Bro we had so many times to win the game aside from the 4th quarter there were so many times that we could’ve stopped them on 3rd and long and force a punt but we just allow such long plays to happen that their drive extends and we’re fucked
Yall might not see this but chill on najee… he still fumbles less than warren who has 5 in 3 years and Najee has 4 in his career. He gets the shit on for no reason half the time
On first watch it looked like Wilson was at fault for this but then you see the replay in slow motion and see Najee completely butterfinger it up and drop an easy pitch.
Every week it's the same thing. Missed Tackles, Poor pass defense, and PERSONAL FOULS!!! Then we get the typical Tomlin sound bites and nothing ever gets corrected. This is the results of a "Players coach" To much buddy buddy with the players and not enough boss/employee. Tomlin is the problem. Undisciplined team.
Complete trash 100% Reminded me of every time we played the patriots. Pathetic, weak, and clueless. To that end, many of those missed tackles looked intentional. Just sayin’
Najee is trash 🗑 what does tomlin see in him other than a good hurdle ....😂 he is practically a fullback even hayward is more dynamic out of the backfield
Give me this offense all day long!! QB1 fields RB1 Warren Wr1pickens Wr2ebuka Wr3austin Wr4williams We need guys to make plays no reason fields shouldn’t be the qb next yr and Warren can take one to the house at anytime that puts a lot of pressure on the defense
pay.wo.ink/aff/go/Sohan
I also hate toss plays reminiscent of Matt Canada jet sweep..
The sweeps. The playcalling. The Defense. It wasn't Najees fault
Najee wasn't put in a good position to do well because of the play calling.
The Defense however played well enough. And honestly there isn't a Defense in the league that could holdup with the kind of time of possession the Eagles had over the Steelers. I think we had 6 minutes TOP in the second half.
That play gave them all the momentum back after we were driving games usually come down to a few plays no excuses for him
Idc about the game, just hope TJ isn't too bad. We're awful without him
@@andrewscocozza4340 tired of seeing Russel trying to throw over guys almost twice as tall throwing it into their backs
Warren needs to start because Harris seems to only be effective in the second half of games. That's when he's not fumbling
Dude we gotta give Jaylen more snaps.
I swear Mike Tomlin put that toss play in the offense. They used to run that out of a shot gun always on 3rd down abd it never worked
don’t know how anyone can keep watching after a play like that
The defense gets a few turnovers for us yet they still end up on the field for 40 minutes.....they gave our offense an 11 yard field and we come up with a field goal.....you cant beat good teams like that very often.....that kind of play can keep bad teams in the game 😅
Najee fumbles about once a season: give him a break
Timing is everything I said he had a great year too

@@brandon7265that fumble definitely changed the momentum of the game

Wow a reasonable take. Don't find much of that with these clown UA-cam rage baiters and emotional comments sections
Not only did he fumble he panicked and hit the ball right to the eagles

Having roman wilson next year should help a lot, but we definitely need another outside receiver.
Id grab desean Jackson
You can’t lose a game in the 3rd quarter….thats a ridiculous statement.
When your offense only gets one drive after that you can
To be fair to Najee, I don't think anyone was gonna run effectively against that Defense with the pays they called.
I think the game was lost oon that Washington penalty. This game was going to be very close, no mistakes and it happened in the first quarter smh
yeah... i NEVER get worked up and yell during reg season games but brother...

Najee Harris should not be RB1. The way Harris moves, his style is that of a Ballet Dancer.
Fumbles less than Warren
Mike played in his fears today and Naj is playing himself outta Pittsburgh, can't blame him I guess...we don't know how to use him that pitch is awful
Look, they have been tossing the ball like that back to him for the past couple of games and I was thinking it's inevitably a recipe for disaster......................................and I was right!
It's so hard to watch this offense.
Some articles actually wrote this as Russell botched the pitch lol
Jaylen needs to be the starter
Y’all boys talking about “I hate the toss play” yet y’all wasn’t saying that shit when he scored vs the bengals
Ive seen enough. Let him walk and keep warren

Wish we could get jeanty
Go home

This game showed that the Steelers aren't a super bowl contending team. They may make the playoffs but it will be one and done.

This is without Pickens and Deshaun Elliot like what did you expect?
We were down 3 starting Dbs and our #1 weapon. Get your facts str8
I dont understand why tomlin denied the eagles penalty that would of set the eagles back with a 1st and 30. Instead gave them a 2nd and 20. What about playing for field position?
That frustrated me a bit. I would rather take my chances with 1st and 30 versus 2nd and 20.
@drescherjm same here
I like Warren
I don’t blame Tomlin for the punt call; our defense is more likely to put up points than the offense lol
