Okay I have lots of feedback. First of all, I would not have noticed that you were wearing the same outfits until you pointed them out, and also you're within your own home so being comfy during crafting is totally allowed. Second of all, you may want to try denatured alcohol to remove the sticky foam? It's normally used as a glass cleaner, but I don't see it doing any damage to your cutting board, but maybe test a small spot. Third of all, the cross stitch project turned out absolutely amazing, congratulations. Fourth of all, I am also obsessed with tiny things, and I'm going to be sending you a care package here soon, and it's going to now contain some miniatures. Fifth of all, what size hat do you wear? Sixth of all, please tell Tom I said happy birthday. Seventh of all, that cinnamon roll cake looks so good. Eighth of all, THAT HOUSE TURNED OUT SO CUTE; WELL DONE. Finally, when you said you were digesting bread, there is a song that is like a really short tiny thing going around the Instagram right now that is like "all I really wanted was a little bread" and that moment when you said it was a mistake to record after lunch because you were digesting bread made me think of it so hard. I hope you have a most lovely week, and I look forward to seeing future content. (I am subscribed)
Thank you for all the comments! The cinnamon roll cake was very good I have made it another two times since and may or may not be eating some right now. I will try the alcohol for cleaning the cutting mat, and I have told Thomas you said happy birthday 😊Also I have no idea what hat size I am - maybe small? Also you are very very sweet and I appreciate you for being here 🤗🥰 I hope you have a lovely week too!!
Don't worry about wearing the same clothes. I can promise that people care more about you being comfortable. If anything, I sympathize as so many of my good clothes is covered in paint. also also, as a suggestion for the air dry cracks. Probably a thing about the layers being too thick. In the future, if it happens again you can give it an extra day or two to dry and then fill in the cracks with either more clay or using the crack filler for walls. [I have some left over from wall repairs, and its been coming in clutch for tiny cracks in sculptures.]
Ooh very helpful tips, thank you! I remember in high school spend hours making a tiny aged armchair with peeling fabric for an attempt at a diorama and the whole thing completely fell apart as it dried 😥 Clearly I never took the time to learn how to use it properly, that would have been too thick too. I'll definitely try the wall filler technique in future Also I did get paint on one of my favourite pairs of jeans in this video 😅
The amount of crafting videos I’ve watched this week where the crafter in question cuts out INDIVIDUAL SHINGLES/SCALES instead of doing it the smart way in the rows, I was so glad to see you doing it that way so I didn’t have to yell at the screen again 😅
I am so glad the scale video helped you out and got you started on this amazing project! I truly enjoyed watching your creative process and I have subscribed! I look forward to more of your projects😊
Hi Ara! Wow thank you! You're very kind ☺ Your video helped SO much ( I was very stuck lol) I doubt I would have gotten anywhere without it. Also I love the 90s Addams Family and I am absolutely binging your mini mansion series 🖤
It looks fantastic, well done. If you find the lamp gets too hot you might find battery powered candles or copper string lights a good alternative. The candles from k-mart change colour and have a remote. Glad I found your channel, looking forward t6o what you do next
Ohh good idea! I have some old battery candles but I had no idea kmart had ones with remotes, that's very helpful. I'm glad you found my channel too! Welcome 🤗
Heck yeah another small chaos art UA-camr (my favorite genre of UA-cam)??? And they actually live in my city and not in America??? Immediately subscribed and added all your videos to watch later :))
May I just say, this is my first video I have watched of yours and I love it! I completely relate to your process of creating things lol. Your editing is very good as well, I was surprised to see you only have 2.25k subscribers! You definitely deserve more!!
That is really lovely to hear, thank you so much! I don't *super* understand how the algorithm works so just keeping at it and having fun with all the wonderful people like you who take a chance on a new youtuber 🤗❤
Dang, that is a fine, Fine house. It looks spectacular. And yes, miniatures will just take your heart away. I grew up with a Victorian style dollhouse my Dad made for me for my third Christmas. If I was ten I would have spent every last dime in that woman's store... The cross stich came out so cute. Belated birthday wishes to him. Adhesive foam is the devil. Good to know. Try using a putty knife on your cutting board (might work??). Google will tell you the inch to centimeters conversion for you if you ask nicely ("inches to cm"). I live in Canada - yes, we converted to Metric when I was in Grade 1. As a result my grade 5 thru 8 did not teach fractions because we were now Metric and weren't we lucky little buggars... Fractions have been my continual enemy ever since grade 9. Especially, in present day, after trying to do the fraction computations (with chocolate & prayers... to anybody) then turning to the Fahrenheit ruler to find the notches don't go that small. Feh. You made me do math for "a smidge"... Anyways, great video. Good for you for taking your own time with the project. And consider this my offering to The Algorithmic Gods, both the Old and the A.I. Amen... - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi
Thank you Cathy! Inches are SO CONFUSING and I don't get how anyone does small, precise measurements with them. Switching systems during school must have been tough. Also it was honestly very lucky for my bank balance that most of the things in that store were the wrong size. And I certainly appreciate the offering to the Algorithm Gods 😅
@@ashbentley I don't understand how Americans built all the things they needed for the Second World War in such a rush using such a _Rubbish_ measuring system... But they're our neighbours. Canada. We're not nice. We're polite. lol. I remember, one fine morning, my Grade 1 teacher telling us to pay attention and remember this. She had the front page of the morning paper (yes, there used to be 2 papers a day in old-y times). Printed in white letters on a full page black background... "Goodnight Fahrenheit". Oh, those sweet summer children. The result is my height and weight are in inches and pounds, small measurements are in cm's and mm's, and I travel by miles. Plus, no discernable fraction skills. Made Functions and Relations a nightmare math class. 5/8" is a bother to me. Oooh - maybe we could start a petition to make dear old America switch to metric ("think of the children..."). Might distract them from the self-destructive instincts? Sigh. Anywho. The house is spectacular. You should maybe give us all an update for how it's settling into your home. Must be spectacular at night...
@stevezytveld6585 I will say that even though we absolutely use the metric system in Aus including kilometres, I have no idea what my waist measurement is in cm, and we do default to feet and inches for heights here. Someone will be like ‘they’re 180cm tall” and I have no way of visualising that 😂 But I have no idea what a pound is and definitely no clue what stones are either! Very cool that you remember the announcement at school!
@@ashbentley I have done a short binge of your videos. Now I have time to watch a bunch more. It's a weird word and I only know what they are because of my husband. Have a great night.
I think your channel was recommended to me because I've watched so many Nerdforge videos, and I'll say it was an excellent recommendation. This is terrific! As is the frog crosstitch!
Oeh Miniature!! 🤗 🎉🎊 Congratulations Tom! 🐸 (I've been on and off building my mini house for more than a year now...) 😄🎶 Yours turned out amazing, very Cute!! 👌Thanks and Greetings 👋
This was great, and it turned out awesome!! Those details do take for freaking ever but so worth it in the end. If there were Easter eggs 👀 I missed them lol
It's totally cute! Okay so I have some suggestions for the future. 1. Try making future houses in the Sims 4, it's free and a square is 1foot in real life. 2. Look at house building plans on pinrest. Makes math easier. I make a lot of miniatures, and these steps really helped me. I'm creative, not a math person. Lol And 3. Your not giving yourself anuff credit. It's your first time, and it's amazing. And remember when things don't go right, it was just a creative choice. 😅
Making the house in Sims is such a great idea! That was the only part of the game I ever liked anyway 😂 I am also more a creative person than a math person 😅 (Part of the reason I went with witch's house was if the angles are weird, it's magic holding it up 😂) Thank you so much!
Fir all your chaotic energy (which never fails to make me laugh) you always managed to pull of your incredibly ambitious projects. I was also i.press with with Thomas' birthday present and cake. Oh and I checked the footage frame by frame and did not see a birthday boy 😂 so that was disappointing. Keep up the good work Ash, I love your channel ❤
I made a witch house many moons ago ( ive since sold mine) i love the lamp idea! Mine was beyond heavy.. i used popsicle sticks for wood so i could stain it, tons of miniature books, a stone hearth . Loved watching you do yours ❤
Ok your one sounds amazing! Popsicle sticks is suuuuuuch a good idea! I forgot about that, I did that for a small diorama in high school (now I need to go check if I still have photos). And a stone hearth! Do you have photos of yours? I'd love to see it!
This was insane! I'm also a small youtuber but would never commit to a big project like this (I feel like views can sometimes be very low so I don't want to work too long on one video for it to flop) 😅 You're also so funny and put in so much time into filming and making it an interesting video, seems so much work to me! Not saying this to compare or seem pitiful, just mean this as a compliment :) I really love all your video!
Thank you! Being a small youtuber can be hard but it's so much fun. I'm just making whatever I'm most excited to make. If people don't watch it now, maybe they'll watch it later 🤗❤
Well congratulations the Algorithm is doing its job. I noticed several people (like me) had your channel recommended to them. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻I did enjoy your process. Possibly because of the ADHD too. As in me too. Oh yeah I subscribe also.👍🏼🌻

I've finally met someone else with my personality and ADHD level 😂 I've also been trying to find people who do this without all of the equipment. I love nerdforge but I like to see it the way you've done the house too. It turned out great!...the cinnamon roll cake too 👌
Always happy to meet fellow ADHDers! 🤗 I think the most hi tech thing I have is the hot glue gun and honestly I only learned how to use that fairly recently 😂 Thanks for hanging out! ❤
Hi Ash, I just found your channel, UA-cam sent me.😅 But I love your channel and the castle you've made! Of course, I'm going to subscribe! I hope many people will do. Saying hi from the Netherlands.🤗 🇳🇱
I use lighter fluid (the kind you use in a cigarette ligher) to remore the sticky stuff. There is a product called gooe gone. That might work on clothers. Personally I don't like the smell of it.
Hey! I absolutely love your videos and am not criticizing you at all, but just wanted to let you know: there is a motif in the track playing at 9:40 that comes from a song ("Dixie") that's politically controversial in the US because of strong associations with the Confederacy. If you have a lot of US viewers, you might want to switch it out with something else for future videos. It took me a long time to notice it, though, so probably most people won't. Love the house lamp and am enjoying the "company" while I work on my sewing projects. : )
Thank you so much for letting me know! I get all my music from the UA-cam Audio library, and I'll try to figure out which one this is. Much appreciated! PS. Thanks for hanging out 🥰
I feel like maybe I have some kind of special talent in finding UA-camrs who are neurodivergant ! So yes youve got a new subscriber and you specifically saying I should subscribe actually did help push me to sub on the account on the tv and my phone account (the one that makes commenting easier) anyway just hello thank you for making this kind of content so I can live vicariously thru you. Okay first of all, that cheap knife will NOT measure up to a Fiskars knife, because that is some QUALITY shit. Like I have a Fiskars scissor that's 30-something years old at this point and I haven't needed to sharpen it once. Okay, now with that out of the way... OMFG THE HOUSE IS ADORABLE AND I WANT TO LIVE IN IT if it actually existed and had all the proper fittings of an actual house, like floors and indoor plumbing. You did a fantastic job and I'm sorry about your adhesive plastic infestation. 😅 Also I have sent that exact frog meme to my husband. 😊
Fair enough! I've never had a Fiskars blade. I would have liked if they offered a basic one in my price range is all 😅 And thank you so much! Also I am still finding the foam EVERYWHERE and I have vacuumed so much 😥
I am currently on like the 4 th day of making a very tiny cartoon shape house 🥲 ,, help Edit : I have actually only been whatching your content while on this project so your subscriber reminder actually was useful
Omg how have I only just now found your channel?? It’s everything I’ve been looking for 🥹 sewing, home decor crafting, miniature making, the ambitiously jumping into new hobbies, cottagecore/victorian/vintage/alt/fantasy aesthetics in one amazing place! I told myself I’d be productive at work today, but that’s out the window now bc I’m watching all of your videos❤
Oh wow, thank you so much for all the kind words! 🥰 That's so lovely, I'm so happy to meet kindred spirits! Also I feel I must warn you, the earlier videos are slow to get going but I promise there is *some* funny stuff in there 😅 Thank you for being here!
This is the type of chaos I'm here for. I'm a neuro spicy dolls house miniature maker, currently in the process of renovating a dolls house but bouncing from room to room because I cant settle on just one thing. Bentley house minis is my go to Ara is amazing, other channels I like for minis are Whitney Labrie and Queen City Minis and Willinrow
@@paigeparadigm8172 hoarding craft supplies is a great place to start. I kept cookie packaging because I could use it in the dolls house and I have trash plastic that will make fantastic window panes
So I just binged watched a bunch of videos, I’m obsessed with how much I relate to just figuring it out and trial and error. I love that chaos reins overall, in the best possible way.
Don't worry about how you look, you're gorgeous just the way you are, even covered in self-adhesive foam and mod podge. The main thing is, your videos are fun, informative, and engaging. Thanks for being you!
I have learned so much from Bentley House Minis! Ara is great at explaining everything in detail and not making it sound like a foreign language. Check out her video on the fireplace minister from Beetleguise for great tips on air dry clay.
Ooh great recommendation thank you, air dry clay is one of those things that never really works for me and yet I have never researched how to actually use it 😅
I'm so glad that I'm not the only person that has cardboard shredding pets. Esme and Scoutie Boo (kittens) shred any cardboard they find. It can be thick or thin card, they don't care. It just needs to be shredded as soon as they see it or else they sulk.
It sooo cute! Only a problem when there is cardboard around that you really need! One time Alf started tearing up a box that had our oat milk in it and very suddenly walked away from it. Turns out he'd gotten through the packaging and gotten into the milk, clearly understood his mistake straight away 😅
@@ashbentley One of my kitties, Scoutie Boo, managed to shred the whole Ikea boxes that held the pieces of a full 5 x 5 Kallax shelving unit, before I came home from work to put the thing together. It was like a room full of cardboard snow and a lot of bits of the shelves that had a few teeth marks on them and many scratches.
Sorry the warning abort the easter egg was totally unexpected and hilarious, like WHAT hahaha
And I've told him so many times not to do it 😂

Thank you! Being a small youtuber can be hard but it's so much fun. I'm just making whatever I'm most excited to make. If people don't watch it now, maybe they'll watch it later 🤗❤
@@ashbentley you're right! I admire your way of thinking :)
Well congratulations the Algorithm is doing its job. I noticed several people (like me)
had your channel recommended to them.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻I did enjoy your process. Possibly
because of the ADHD too. As in me too. Oh yeah I subscribe also.👍🏼🌻
Yay! So happy you found me, welcome! 😊 Yay for ADHD pals 🤗
Well done Ash. xxoo Looks totally amazing. 😁❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊❤
I've been so curious what you were working on, worth the wait!
Oh that's so nice to hear! Thank you 😊
The ledge you referred to is a porch, and I believe that when those have poles holding them up, they're called Ballistrades?
Omg how did I forget porch *face palm* It's literally called a porch light and I actually remember thinking that phrase during filming 😅
❤❤❤
🤗💕
Truly Beautiful!
Thank you!
I should sleep but now me need popcorn....
It's allmost 1...yes middle of the nigth 1
I hope you found some pop corn ❤
@@ashbentley they migth been old becouse they popped so bad. And didn't at all wen popping popcorn at 2 in the nigth. ADHD madness 🤣😇😋
@@AnniCarlsson 😂😂
This was so much fun! The house looks great, you are talented and hilarious, and the whole video was put together so well! Subscribed
Oh thank you so much! I really appreciate that 🤗 Thanks for being here ❤
okay, so you make a castle too. I'm totally in. (I already subscribed during the cursed rabbit backpack. But as an artist, yes yes yes!
Haha thank you! 🤗
"When was the last time you ate popcorn?"
Me, with a fistful of the stuff held to my mouth like I'm feeding a horse: "Omg!"
😂😂 So perfect
Wow, it’s stunning 🤩
Thank you! 🥰
New small channel to watch whoop whoop >:D
Fellow neurospicy!
Yay for fellow neurospicy! Thanks for being here! 🤗
OMG this is AMAZING 🤩 Ash YOU are AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️
Oh thank you! You're the best! ❤❤❤
My vote is to sew people ..i have a few hitch hikers in my baseme...ii mean i might have some stock ..suplies? ..moving on nothing to see here. Also @12:04 thats what she said.
Thank you for the vote! Honestly I'm keen to try making that backpack, it's so creepy!
I love it! Amazing house, ermmm that’s it I have nothing else to say haha
Thank you! I appreciate it haha ❤
This house is glorious! I love and appreciate all the work and little details you added❤
Does it work well as a lamp?
Thank you! I think it ended up with a few too many walls to be very useful as a lamp but it does add some nice ambient lighting 😊
Right now because you made me wanna eat popcorn 😂😂😂
😂😂 Such an underrated snack
@ashbentley agreed lol 😆
You can also eggg boxes for brickks
You know I saw that after I made the clay bricks and it looks so cool (and easier I think?) Next time!
Awesome my granndaugther wants haunted house awesome❤
Thank you 🤗 A haunted house would be great! Your granddaughter seems cool 😎
You look so pretty and I love this so much 🏰
Also, you have the patience of a saint haha
Haha thank you, I'm not sure I do but I was committed if nothing else 😊
Hi Ash,
I just found your channel, UA-cam sent me.😅
But I love your channel and the castle you've made!
Of course, I'm going to subscribe! I hope many people will do.
Saying hi from the Netherlands.🤗 🇳🇱
Welcome aboard! Thank you so much for the sub ❤
Love it, great job. Love your personality. New subscriber here, I’ll be checking out more of your videos. 😊
Aw thank you! And thank you for being here!! ❤❤
15:09 it is called a gable 😊
Thank you!! I had no idea that's what that word meant ☺
❤

ALWAYS get ur craft items at a $2 shop over spotlight 🤭
I have learnt my lesson!
I use lighter fluid (the kind you use in a cigarette ligher) to remore the sticky stuff. There is a product called gooe gone. That might work on clothers. Personally I don't like the smell of it.
Ooh good tip thank you
Bentley miniatures is one of my favourite comfort channels and my gf made the joke about the correlation when I put this video on :3
Hope you enjoy your week !
Looking forward to watching more of your videos 💫🧷⭐🧷🥳🥰✨💫 wait last adhd thought at the end ! Um Australia we both live here okie bye for reals
Actually who am I fooling. Im also looking forward to rewatching this video
Thank you so much! I also appreciate you letting me know that talking about subscribing helped 😊Also that's so funny about Bentley miniatures. Maybe one day we can do a a Bentley and Bentley collab 😅 I appreciate you taking a a chance on a new youtuber, thank you for being here!🤗 ❤
PS. I also feel like I have a knack for attracting the best subscribers! 🤗🤗
@@ashbentley sadly she's taking a break from doing collabs this year, theres a video explaining why on the channel but the goal is to eventually do those again so I'll keep my hopes up hehe
Also I have sent that exact frog meme to my husband. 😊
Fair enough! I've never had a Fiskars blade. I would have liked if they offered a basic one in my price range is all 😅 And thank you so much! Also I am still finding the foam EVERYWHERE and I have vacuumed so much 😥
This is a Grian build
I don’t know what that is but I hope it’s a good thing! 😂
Is your dog a long hair Sharpei?
He's a pure bred Shar Pei! And the best boy ever 🥰
🩵💜💙
💕💕💕
you're Australian and I love it - and you have a sharpie
Aw Kevin and Alf, they sound like they would hang out 😊 Welcome friend! ❤
I am currently on like the 4 th day of making a very tiny cartoon shape house 🥲 ,, help
Edit : I have actually only been whatching your content while on this project so your subscriber reminder actually was useful
Good luck with your project! And thank you for letting me know! I hate to be annoying with it but I also find the reminders helpful 😅
@@ashbentley I think I have finished it ??? Maybe like just now
edit: oh god it's been 9 hrs
Yayy!!
Same! Even down to being tired now after lunch and ingesting bread, feel like a met my peeps…Instant SUB!
Oh wow, thank you so much for all the kind words! 🥰 That's so lovely, I'm so happy to meet kindred spirits! Also I feel I must warn you, the earlier videos are slow to get going but I promise there is *some* funny stuff in there 😅 Thank you for being here!
Aw thank you! Seriously the lunch time bread fatigue is so real 🥱
Here for this comment, but I am just starting out! It’s a lot of hoarding crafts items atm
High five for fellow neurospicy crafter! And thank you for the channel recommendations ❤
Hoarding crafting supplies is always a good idea, you never know when some random thing you stashed years ago is going to be the exact thing you need
Oh yay! Always love to hear that. Thank you so much for watching! 🤗
Don't worry about how you look, you're gorgeous just the way you are, even covered in self-adhesive foam and mod podge. The main thing is, your videos are fun, informative, and engaging. Thanks for being you!
I still find that self-adhesive foam around the house 😅 Thank you so much! 🤗❤
What a friggin amazing project....ledgen......🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Aww thank you 🥰🥰
I'm fairly certain that good plans put on screen by UA-camrs are 90% inserted by the power of editing and were drawn after the work was done.
That's a good point!
Oh, Ash! You should be so proud of that! That came out beautiful!
Thank you! I'm pretty happy with it for a first attempt 😄
I have learned so much from Bentley House Minis! Ara is great at explaining everything in detail and not making it sound like a foreign language. Check out her video on the fireplace minister from Beetleguise for great tips on air dry clay.
Ooh great recommendation thank you, air dry clay is one of those things that never really works for me and yet I have never researched how to actually use it 😅
@@ashbentley lol
I just found your channel and I already know it's exactly what I want to be watching my god. Adhd crafting, my brand!!
Welcome! 🤗 Yay for ADHD crafting buddies!
Wow this turned out incredibly! The house is amazing and i am very keen to see what comes next!! (i hear tales that pockets may be in abundance)
Thank you! And they will be in such abundance (as much abundance as my fabric can provide)
It looks amazing! You did such a great job on it 😁👍
Thank you! 😄
It’s super amazing😍😍😍
Aw thank you 🤗
It turned out looking amazing. :}
Thank you 🥰
Such a relaxing video 😊
Oh yay I'm glad ❤❤
