      @@Everythingdinosaurdotcom any new evidence of edmontosaurs for defense mechanisms liek tails wing, or larger size or could thier neck is quite large can surrive trex bite?

    • @Everythingdinosaurdotcom
      @Everythingdinosaurdotcom  Рік тому +1

      @@johnpass2348 We know that the Edmontosaurus spp may have had larger, more robust scales on their necks, possibly providing greater protection from attack. There is research evidence to suggest hadrosaurs grew faster than tyrannosaurs so they obtained a larger size quicker than their contemporaneous predators. In addition, there is quite a degree of consensus amongst palaeontologists that Edmontosaurus had a larger adult size than T. rex. Attacking a large, healthy fully-grown Edmontosaurus would have been a serious undertaking. Thank you for your comment.

    It would be great to see a new CollectA Corythosaurus/Lambeosaurus. They are so infrequently produced unlike parasaurolophus and are equally iconic. A model that would be great to see from CollectA would be Ouranosaurus!!!!!

    • @Everythingdinosaurdotcom
      @Everythingdinosaurdotcom  Рік тому

      Thank you for your suggestions, perhaps an updated Corythosaurus or Lambeosaurus are on the cards. We appreciate the Ouranosaurus suggestion too. CollectA did make an Age of Dinosaurs Ouranosaurus figure, think this model has now been retired but we still have a few in stock here: www.everythingdinosaur.com/product/collecta-ouranosaurus-dinosaur-model/

    Question of the day: Kentrosaurus or Polacanthus would be incredible!

      Thank you for your feedback, perhaps CollectA will add more armoured dinosaurs in future. They did introduce a little model of a Polacanthus (without the iconic sacral shield) about 12 years ago, one of the first dozen or so figures that were made. It is a rare figure with a very cute face, it can be found here: www.everythingdinosaur.com/product/collecta-polacanthus-dinosaur-model/

    There were a few great suggestions (updated Stegosaurus, Ouranosaurus or Kritosaurus) but I have a few other too like some pachycephalosaur (Stegoceras or Homalocephale), Toujiangosaurus and Huayangosaurus are also rarely depicted. Or small and/or basal species like Scutellosaurus, Thescelosaurus, Aquilops or Liaoceratops.

    Thank you. Nice models and explanations. I love the inclusion of the actual fossils. For the question I choose: tlatolophus galorum.

    As for the question of the day for me personally I'd lean towards Collecta hopefully making as someone else suggested either a new Lambeosaurus or Corythosaurus.
    A Shantungosaurus or Barsboldia.
    For Ankylosaurs it'd be an Eupocephalus/Anodontosaurus or Saichania.
    And for Ceratopsians I think Collecta could make a very nice Albertaceratops or Pentaceratops.

    Oh man, this is a tough question of the day, there are so many Ornithischians, some of the ones I would love to see by Collecta are Ceratopsians like Udanoceratops or Zuniceratops, or something like Tethyshadros and Lurdusaurus, or even something like Stegouros or Anodontosaurus.
    Edit: well I'm very glad to know that I can take Stegouros off this list 🤩

    Oh my God these figures look amazing! Particularly the Triceratops and the Hadrosaurus (more so the latter, and speaking of that; how on earth does that species only *now* get an actual figure of it made by one of these major companies after all this time?! So thank goodness CollectA have finally jumped on that now. And hey; better late than never, too (you know?) 😉👍)). Really cannot wait to see what the next 2 or 3 batches for next year’s line will have to offer! 😃
    And as for that question that you asked near the end of the video/“The Question of The Day” regarding which ornithischian dinosaur model I would like to see from CollectA sometime in the future; I myself would actually *really* like to see a *Panoplosaurus* (an “armored dinosaur”) model by CollectA some time in the future. 👍

      @@Everythingdinosaurdotcom You are welcome 😊 I have been a dinosaur enthusiasts my whole life and my shelf is filled with collcta models. It always bothered me how collecta has made only a small number of Dromaeosaurid figures. Why has collecta made a figure of Lisowicia or Saltriovenator, but no Deinonychus, Velociraptor, Balaur, Austroraptor, Dakotaraptor or an (updated) Utahraptor? I have the Microraptor from the last year and it shines in my collection. I wish I had more collecta Raptors in my collection.

    Beautiful educational video as always Everything Dinosaur 🦕🦖, I absolutely Love ❤ your video reviews! They are very formal and informative. CollectA is one my most Favorite Dinosaur & Prehistoric Fauna model makers! I’ve recommended to CollectA since like around the year 2015 or 2016, to please make a Gigantopithecus Blacki 🦧 model, I believe a CollectA Gigantopithecus model would sell 💵💰 like hot pancakes 🥞, I really believe this 😊. Also, a Short Faced Bear 🐻 by CollectA, would be a dream come true for me, one can only wish 😢.

    Looks like Ceratosuchops isn't part of the standard line! The real animal grew up to eight or nine metres in length. Depending on which size you use the scale of the model ranges between 1÷33 to 1÷37,5.

    No, I mean if trex bites the neck of edmontosaur Wouldn't it die even if healthy or not?

    • @Everythingdinosaurdotcom
      @Everythingdinosaurdotcom  Рік тому +1

      It is difficult to speculate on such an episode of animal behaviour. However, the neck of most vertebrates is vulnerable due to the large amount of blood vessels and other elements associated with the cervical vertebrae. If a T. rex was to bite the neck of a hadrosaur, then it probably would have caused considerable damage. Whether this was to prove fatal depends on the severity of the wound caused.
