Down at the cross where my Savior died, Down where for cleansing from sin I cried, There to my heart was the blood applied; Glory to His Name! Refrain: Glory to His Name, Glory to His Name: There to my heart was the blood applied; Glory to His Name! I am so wondrously saved from sin, Jesus so sweetly abides within, There at the cross where He took me in; Glory to His Name! Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin, I am so glad I have entered in; There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean; Glory to His Name! Come to this fountain so rich and sweet, Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet; Plunge in today, and be made complete; Glory to His Name!
Manik, you have taken back in time when music was sweet and had a story or message to tell, even most secular songs too, but the REAL songs with THE REAL STORY and lifelong meaning were hymns. Yes, H Y M N S; that word which will get you branded an anti-Christian, and all that other nonsense. Down at the cross where my Savior died...had a rich and powerful meaning full of the story of what CHRIST DID FOR ALL. May HE richly bless your life and the lives of those around you!
Thanks for the lyrics! This type of music speaks to saved and unsaved Souls(see last verse...invitation.) Today, these songs are steadily being removed from Church, and that move IS NOT from God.
I'm thirst to sing song... so glad to find Christian Hymn in youtube. We're glad that govt. allowed churches to open every sunday again...God bless everyone. From Philippines❤
And a real choir!! I started singing in our church choir at age 15. Seems like no churches have choirs anymore either. I love the old hymns too, and I'd give almost anything to be able to sing in a choir again!!!
Amen Amen. This christians songs are make me comfortable always. This is such an inspiring to a christians to worship Jesus always praise Jesus always. And i also enjoying watching these congegations to sing. What a lovely songs. I love you Jesus. Keep inspiring christians also with the people that they dont know about Jesus.
Found these videos while looking for hymns. our church do not sing them and I miss them so much. Love listening this church praise the Lord together. will continue to watch and sing.
These are some of the songs I grow up with. My moms cousins would pull out there guitars at our yearly family reunions and then all kids would gather around and listen to them and the old folks sing gospel music for hours.
wow thank you Lord for this people of God singing heavenly songs, this kind of hymns cannot be compared, praise and worship of today's generation's are like attending concert of worldly songs mostly emotional and not spiritual longing.God bless you all
Osmenio Faner I agree with you. The words are anointed and the music is also. Too many worship centers have music that along with the four liner forty times framework it nearly becomes worldly.
Don't know what church this is. I've attended an independent Pentecostal church for 10 years. Sunday night the pastor was well rested and always in a good mood. He would start the service off with this song. The Holy Spirit would move powerfully. Many of us took off shouting and dancing.

How different this praise hymn is from the seeker-sensitive "pop-rock" (music/drivel) that most modern-day churches have embraced & compromised with!
There's no comparison! And most of the seeker-sensitive "pop-rock" is 'me centered,' rather than Christ centered.
It's not drivel either. ,don't be critical.
@@judithbormann6288 agreed!
I couldn't agree more. Bring back the good old hymns and gospel songs PU-LEEEZE!!!
I refuse to sit in a church and listen to rock music! So thankful for my little church and the great hymns.
