This isn't a cover of the songs, this is the actual composer and musicians that performed the songs. Genuinely some of the best live music I've ever heard! Also you both probably already know by now but the reason The Rumbling wasn't in this is because this suite was released way before season 4 was in development if I'm not mistaken.
20:32 The last song is Bertholdt's theme in the battle for the return of Shiganshina. "Old Man Please Remember Me" that part talks about his sick father, waiting in Marley, but sadly he died because the Marley government stopped giving him cancer treatment upon finding out they lost the Colossal. "Duty chains us, our demons haunt us"... "Like the smell of her hair"... in that part he refers to Annie, he could never tell her how he felt about her.

there are two similar compositions. 3:22 This is a composition from season 3, here she is a soloist. And in the composition of season 1 and in season 4 of episode 28 , another soloist is Mika Kobayashi
17:54 The "hope" you mentioned reminds me of Sawano's another composing masterpiece, 〈Unicorn〉. It's from the 《Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn》. Give it a try if you're interested in Sawano's capability.
hiroyuki sawano is the person on the piano and he is a well respected componist in the scene. hes a legend. its great that they got him for this show. best show ever
16:33 Counterattack Mankind is a soundtrack song, I think it first played in Season 1 when Keith Shadis made Sasha run for eating a potato. It’s probably most memorable from Season 3, it plays when Armin figures out how to defeat the colossal in the episode “hero”
18:18 this song was used during Sasha having to run until sundown, also the end of Season 2 when we see all the characters of the scout regiment leading into us seeing the beast titan's controller, zeke
For me 15:47 is the best attack on titan OST. It's called Counterattack Mankind. It was played on episode 5 when Mikasa loses hope and also numerous time during Season 1 and 2
This suite is a sequence of 4 "Attack on Titan" songs written by Hiroyuki Sawano (he is playing the piano). He is one of my favourite composers, his songs are sang in japanese, english and german (the first song is fully german). The vocalist of the first song is Eliana, daughter of brazilian father and japanese mother.
I watch this suite every couple of months it’s absolutely incredible. Im one of those people who can pinpoint the scenes these songs are in 😂 Hiroyuki sawano is the guy on the piano who composed the songs for season 1-3 and the guy on the synth is Kohta Yamamoto who composed season 4 with Hiroyuki. Hiroyuki is a genius. His music is phenomenal. A lot of the songs for AoT are in German because the place it’s set in is based on a real place in Germany called Noerdlingen where it’s a medieval town surrounded by huge walls. I love that it is the original singers for these songs as well however, the first song was originally sung by Mika Kobayashi and then for season 3 it was the girl in this video. The song you mentioned where you thought it was when reiner and Bertholdt revealed themselves is the Levi and Kenny chase scene ❤️ and the instrumental which you thought was an outro is used quite a lot throughout the show. It’s used quite a lot with the scouts as well when Erwin is commanding them. It’s called counter attack on mankind A lot of the openings for AoT were done by Linked Horizon and some of their videos performing the openings live are insane.
“To what scene?” @18:29 this song played at the very end of season two, right before we first see the Beast Titan’s human form. It is also the song that played after Sasha rescued Kaya and reunited with her father S2E3
First time hearing this song in 15:58 my brain processing, bringing me back to season 1 when the first time reiner and berthold bring Eren to that hill at night or dawn (i remember when Reiner asked Eren what's his goal/dream or something, and Eren said that he want to kill all those titans), and also showing that lake scene... so pretty... For my perspective, in this Hiroyuki Sawano Project emU, all the songs are from 3 seasons (which is all the OST are created by Hiroyuki sawano himself, the guy in white shirt and playing piano), and mostly from season 3, bcs when i checked again to the album, that's matching, except the YouSeeBigGirl one and the one that i mention before (but at the ending of the episode from season 3, they're using the same song but in different version). That song, "K2-" are indeed Kenny's Theme Song, from Episode 1 of season 3. Then they use it again in season 4 "but different version", when Levi vs Zeke inside the forest and Levi's comrades explodes and become titans, (in K2- there's no lyrics, only instruments, but K21, there's a rapper and more like live band than K2-). P.S: sorry for long explaination and wrong grammar bcs english isn't my first languange
The one you didnt know where it was played is called coutnerattack mankind. Its played in scenes they get their hope back. For example season 2 last episode or season 1 when mikasa gets her hope beack and wants to fight(must be at episode 7 or 8). Or when Sasha in season 2 fought the titan when she safed the girl of her village.
The fidget spinner's original vocalist is Mika Kobayashi, but the one who performed it on this video is Eliana Silva (which I kinda like a little bit more since she can reach those really high notes)
17:40 that kind of victorious moment was first seen in S1 when Eren's all excited that they're going to fight back against the titans and then the Colossal appears the second time. It's called CounterAttack Mankind
Personally my favorite was Gemie (White dress singer) performing "YouseeBIGGIRL", it was used during the reveal of the colossal titan and armored titan on the wall. Or the Betrayal of Berthold and reiner.
Great video as always❤ btw did u guys see the new aot trailer for the final season part 3.1, and the opening for part 3.1 is called under the tree by sim(which is the band who sang the rumbling
The first song is called Vogel im Käfig aka it’s a fidget spinner, the scenes I remembered that played this song are Eren’s transformation vs Annie, season 3 when zeke block the wall with a rock, also a scene that you guys probably watched already on patreon(it’s not on yt yet so idk) but it’s a epic scene The third song is Reiner and Bert betrayal scene, the the last song is Bert’s transform scene
06:49 Even though it's already 2024, there are still people who don't know who Hiroyuki Sawano is and what he looks like. Since you can search for him on UA-cam, you can also search for him on Google, right?
The song that you were saying it gives a feeling of hope thats like when eren mikasa and armin was in class learning how to kill a titan if you guys remember correctly and it also played when eren first transform into a titan and defeat all titans so his friends could escape freely after jean and marco i think was talking at the HQ
This is Hiroyuki Sawano's creation but there are a lot of people with the mistaken idea that kohta yamamoto (the current main composer of the AoT series) had a part in the creation of this soundtrack and I want to clarify that this is not the case and that the composer of this soundtrack in its entirety is the man with the white shirt in the piano. He is the god Hiroyuki Sawano himself and kohta yamamoto at the time of the creation of this soundtrack was just another member of Sawano's band called NzK. So I beg people in the comments to stop giving credit to kohta yamamoto for this soundtrack because he didn't create nothing and it wasn't he an important part of the composition either.
dude, kohta yamamoto is literally there, he's the guy on the keyboard, i think you don't even know how composing music works, also Hiroyuki Sawano isn't a god
@@JaimeAvilesArmas The problem is you saying that Kohta Yamamoto "didn't create nothing" and "wasn't an important part of the composition" when he's literally right there in this very same video. The credits go to Hiroyuki Sawano of course but claiming that Kohta didn't do anything is horrible misinformation and downright disrespectul to Kohta and even to Hiroyuki who you are so bravely defending because i doubt he would say these stupid things you're saying.
The first singer sings german like in the build up she sings "Hast du keine zweifel daran wir schließen immer das Tor" have you no doubt about it we always closing the gate" greetings from germany. Edit : 12:36 is as well german the whole song.
The 1st time I watched this, I was reminded of the anxiety, hyped energy and sadness/trauma this show has given me. 1 of my older brothers really likes watching AoT too, when I showed him this his absolute fave is the 1st song. And I enjoy teasing him by saying "REINER!". And my absolute go to is the 4th song, her haunting vocals reminds me of Amy Lee from Evanescence. The main line/scene that pops in my head is when Eren calls Reiner and Bert Traitors while transforming.
The instrumental song that you were struggling to place was played at the end of the last episode of season 2 when the camera was zooming over the territory and walls, ending at the wall where that character said "Not yet, eh?"
Hiroyuki Sawano is the pianist and composer. The singer is Eliana Silva. This song has had several versions now, each with different singers. The first one's name was Mika, which is the one you hear back in S1. Eliana is the one you hear at the end of last season. Also, yes the lyrics are in german lol

AOT has such beautiful soundtracks makes me wanna cry
Sawano is the composer of many anime and games theme songs
6:07 no she isn't this the part two version of ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn, the original is by Mika Kobayashi
6:26 and yes she is singing in German.
6:44 Her name is Eliana She is the second version singer of Main ost name "ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn "
I like how they kept thinking the songs were in completely different parts of the show 😂
there are two similar compositions. 3:22 This is a composition from season 3, here she is a soloist. And in the composition of season 1 and in season 4 of episode 28 , another soloist is Mika Kobayashi
All real guys, and the man on the piano is Sawano-sensei himself, the composer of this masterpiece. What a great piece of work! Enjoy friends.
17:54
The "hope" you mentioned reminds me of Sawano's another composing masterpiece, 〈Unicorn〉.
It's from the 《Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn》. Give it a try if you're interested in Sawano's capability.
10:20 that's when Levi beat up Zeke in Episode 14 of S4.
bruh, they messed up all the themes
@@Razed1341i wachted aot 3-4 times and even i can't remember 😂
hiroyuki sawano is the person on the piano and he is a well respected componist in the scene. hes a legend. its great that they got him for this show. best show ever
If I could choose only one UA-cam video to watch forever it would be this Aot suite
Thanks for reacting, crazy to think this is anime music.. This stuff is incredible
It’s called counter attack on mankind
A lot of the openings for AoT were done by Linked Horizon and some of their videos performing the openings live are insane.
So to translate “the fidget spinner” is “its that the destroyer, or is it our savior” but in German. The lyrics are fucking wild 👌
“To what scene?” @18:29 this song played at the very end of season two, right before we first see the Beast Titan’s human form. It is also the song that played after Sasha rescued Kaya and reunited with her father S2E3
You guys were so adorable. Oopsie there with that “fact” 🤣👏
I am so happy all of my favorite reactions channels have checked out this video 😍. This will forever be a masterpiece. ❤
These songs are all ost, not Op and Endings songs. Mostly these songs were played in the first and second seasons.
The song that plays at 15:52 is from the season 2 episode 12 ending scene
6:37, you guys didn't notice, but she went higher pitch here (6 levels) than the song used for the show (5 levels)
When I do my 1 hr cardio its "Tevvez-glimmer of hope" on repeat. Or "there is no tomorrow! x warning- mc orsen".
So i feel you Ron 😅😅
Ron you are totally right ...16:50 it is the music from the end scene of second season
Eliana is the season 3 and 4 singer for this song
17:40 that kind of victorious moment was first seen in S1 when Eren's all excited that they're going to fight back against the titans and then the Colossal appears the second time. It's called CounterAttack Mankind
Personally my favorite was Gemie (White dress singer) performing "YouseeBIGGIRL", it was used during the reveal of the colossal titan and armored titan on the wall. Or the Betrayal of Berthold and reiner.
14:13 At exactly this moment, I felt like an abnormal titan jogging on my treadmill.
Great video as always❤ btw did u guys see the new aot trailer for the final season part 3.1, and the opening for part 3.1 is called under the tree by sim(which is the band who sang the rumbling
The first song is called Vogel im Käfig aka it’s a fidget spinner, the scenes I remembered that played this song are Eren’s transformation vs Annie, season 3 when zeke block the wall with a rock, also a scene that you guys probably watched already on patreon(it’s not on yt yet so idk) but it’s a epic scene
The third song is Reiner and Bert betrayal scene, the the last song is Bert’s transform scene
I gotta agree this and the rumbling are my favorite songs. I listen to these alot
06:49 Even though it's already 2024, there are still people who don't know who Hiroyuki Sawano is and what he looks like. Since you can search for him on UA-cam, you can also search for him on Google, right?
5:12 she got...lungs😂😂😂
20:11 as someone who played violin in an orchestra, "it's just a big violin" was a common sentiment towards cello players LOL
Kohta yamamoto is also hiroyuki sawano's student
dude, kohta yamamoto is literally there, he's the guy on the keyboard, i think you don't even know how composing music works, also Hiroyuki Sawano isn't a god
@@mahmaneiti yeah i know he’s there but his just another member of nzk in that time.
@@mahmaneiti don't take it so personal, no one is a god, that's why we're only just human. Relax buddy
Vuelvo a buscar uno de mis videos favoritos y encuentro una reacción vuestra, ,i culpa por no haberlo visto antes, gracias!!!
can't believe they don't remember this sound in 11:15 from the KENNNNNNNYYYYYY scene
10:28 ON POINT MICHELLE! He is, and he's amazing!
The first singer sings german like in the build up she sings "Hast du keine zweifel daran wir schließen immer das Tor" have you no doubt about it we always closing the gate" greetings from germany.
Edit : 12:36 is as well german the whole song.
Lol, they are so confused, I love it.
Hiroyuki Sawano is the pianist in this video. He is the main composer of these OSTs.
Sawano Hiroyuki is indeed the one playing the piano
15:46 counter attack mankind - sasha's theme. played when sasha fighting a titan to save the girl.
Yess! The reaction was amazing!
ill say this again but if this was performed in an opera room i would literally cry because of how godly it sounds
Masterpiece 💞💞💞💞🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
Hiroyuki is the goat bring so much emotion on all his ost/song
The instrumental song that you were struggling to place was played at the end of the last episode of season 2 when the camera was zooming over the territory and walls, ending at the wall where that character said "Not yet, eh?"
Hiroyuki Sawano is the pianist and composer. The singer is Eliana Silva. This song has had several versions now, each with different singers. The first one's name was Mika, which is the one you hear back in S1. Eliana is the one you hear at the end of last season. Also, yes the lyrics are in german lol
Top tier Reaction exactly what I wanted to see at the bits I also get hyped for 🙌🏻🙌🏻
El mejor anime se todos los tiempos con los mejores ost❤
Hands down, AoT has some of the best and most epic OSTs ❤️
Also, yes! They're actually singing in German. I didn't know that at first when I got into the series 😅
There are also honorable mentions of Hiroyuki Sawano OST like the Attack D and Call of Silence too. Nice reaction 😁
There is just more feeling and impact when you watched the series before you listen to this.
