@@StateofKait Yes!!! Total throwback! I am currently on the hunt for a cherry fragrance that doesn't smell like medicinal and I haven't found one yet unfortunately. I really enjoy these types of videos Kait and so looking forward to your declutter! I'm on a no buy til the next spring Sephora sale makeup and fragrance wise but I totally agree with you being Rouge I was kinda like wtf with this sale like yay Sephora give us nothing!! Lol

Anywhoo, I don’t think you like this formula, but I think the Rare Beauty liquid blush in Encourage is a similar colour to the Charlotte Tilbury. I love those blushes! The secret I discovered is that the rare beauty blush brush is the perfect tool for application
Oh thanks for the tip! I found the rare beauty blushes to be a bit too pigmented for me but maybe I can sheer it out with moisturizer

I don't think you'd like Mood Ring! We smelt it at Sephora and as the reviewers say the gummy note dissipates quickly and then it just smelled like a floral perfume.

I feel the same way about nothing new at Sephora. I saw a few Tatcha kits on sale Sephora @ Kohls but blah nothing else intriguing. I think it’s a slap in the face that they drop another 20% off coupon for everyone to use after all those people used the 10 or 15% off. They did that last year and remember people being in an uproar. But understandably so!

Put it back in the cart for next sale! 😁 Also, do you think that the Glossier foundation in shade 4 looked cakey because the shade was too dark? Or do you think the formula isn’t consistent across the shade line? I know sometimes when foundations are too light or dark they can look awful if the shade is not a good match. Just curious your thoughts because I was thinking of trying that foundation.

OMG I had that cherry doll too!!! I don’t remember the cherries, but I do remember her puckered lips and that I thought it was weird her mouth was always open lol
Well we don't get the 20% off in Canada so I only buy at the VIB sale in the fall and in the spring. Prices are crazy now so I really try to hit the pan in my current stock and if I buy something I don't really love, I immediatly return it. I buy less and less from Sephora...

Same!! So excited to see if you find a powder version. It’s such a stunning color.
Though I do think that one of the most amazing aspects of that blush is that it completely melds into your skin and gives a filtered flawless effect. I’ve never had a powder blush become one with my skin in the way that matte blush wand does. Btw the pink pop color is also pretty, but nowhere near as special as the pillow talk shade.
hey Kait, if you haven't already maybe check out the NYX liquid blush in nude 'tude -- the shade is very similar to pillowtalk and my face doesn't eat the formula too badly

I have mood ring, and it smells fruity (a bit haribo gummy bear) and slightly citrusy. I love it, but I never recommend a blind buy for perfume
Hi Kate! I think this really like the tower 28 moisturizer. My skin is pretty reactive. I’m in bottle #3. Just have quite the list I have to avoid but have 0 issues with the T28! It also is greasy and leaves me a little more matte. Plus it’s not horribly priced.
I think you would look better in the Laura Mercier Strawberry blush than the Chai. I base that on the fact that you looked good in Fenty's cream blush, Strawberry Drip (which I ordered and love). Great video!
Sephora sales don't seem to get me; like you said, after taxes are applied I'm only saving like 10%. It's the darn brand website sales that catch my attention because they're usually pretty good. I did, however, splurge on the 20% off fragrance sale by getting Phlur Father Figure. It's an instant daily wear for me. Thanks for another great video, Kait!
I have a Honey Halo from the Oct sale that I’ve used about 15% of… It’s a little bit too heavy for my liking so I find myself not reaching for it and instead mixing drops of oil in with my Belif true cream. I am happy to send you mine if you would like it. I’d hate to see it go to waste. Let me know.
Dunno if this will help or not with the glossier lip balm, but it was so average to me. Considering how much you've said you prefer thick, cushiony formulas, the glossier one is SO thin and oily. It literally feels oily to me, not even buttery and soft like the summer fridays ones. I don't have cookie butter, but I do have hot cocoa and HATE the scent lol. There's something quite strong and little bitter about it, and def doesn't smell like cocoa. I can't even keep it on my lips bc the smell doesn't dissipate one bit. The rhode salted caramel is my fav and luckily none of the untinted ones have gone grainy, so I wish I hadn't bought the glossier despite the $14 price point. I live in India, so given customs and buying from sellers, its ₹2200 aka $26 😭😭

Idk if you've tried it, but for me, I get comparable results with Drunk Elephant's Protini thingy moisturizer, though it's not like the price is any better without a sale. But it's worth trying a sample and seeing if it works on you, in case you're running low and it has a better sale than Farmacy. Texture is a little different in the jar, but the effect is similar on my skin.
Agreed about Sephora. I may start buying anything I can elsewhere. I am Rouge but it still aggravated me for everyone else who didn’t get 20% during savings event and could have gotten a better discount had they waited. Plus most brands have better sales on their websites than 20%. Also annoying Sephora just copies Ulta deals during 21 days of beauty. It’s like they aren’t original enough to do anything on their own or just want to do the bare minimum to stay competitive.
Off topic, new drugstore drop you cannot miss if you love sheer, glowy makeup and modern liquid formulas. ASAP, get yourself to, i kid you not, the Dollar Tree and try the new purple capped (w a 70s aesthetic... it's really cute) LA Colors product line. 1 bronzer, 1 highlighter, 2 blushes, 4 eyeshadows. Very buildable & wear is decent with a no-alcohol setting spray. I think they broke into elf lol, this isnt is their usual, which can be hit or miss. This is GOOD. Like im not so excited about my $7 Aithr moonlight crystal palette that's coming because i just want to play with my LA Colors. For. Real. Ps dont report me for spam pls, i dont work for them, and at $1.25 per item, the whole line is $10. I consider this a PSA for the broke!!

I just don’t want to shop Sephora anymore. I don’t have an actual store in my area and I’d rather shop the individual websites for products I use like Tatcha, Skinfix, ect. And everything else I’ll get from Ulta.

I’m over Sephora. Ive been boycotting since 2019 solely bc of how much better ultas rewards are. I only buy something at Sephora if I can’t get it at ulta. Also have you smelled lost cherry by Tom ford? I thought it was sophisticated!
Wish I could boycott Sephora but Ulta’s website has been so glitchy that I no longer can place orders on their site. I’ve been dealing with customer service for over a month and they still can’t figure out why so many of us are getting error notifications when we check out 😡
And yeah, I did try lost cherry but it didn’t work for my skin chemistry :/ I’m so jealous of everyone it smells good on!
I agree that Ulta has better rewards, but Ulta’s website is always such a nightmare for me. I only order from Ulta if it’s a product I can’t get a Sephora. Plus I get free shipping on all Sephora orders

Sale prices nowadays are fake. The sale price is now the real price, companies are just trying to create a false sense of value while price gouging. It’s madness. Over-consumption is gross. Price gouging is gross. The amount of extra sh*t winding up in landfills because of beauty trends is gross. Enough already.

The sample thing happens to me all the time. I find that a lot of the times, they tend to better than the full size products, whether it's skincare, haircare, makeup. I recently tried a pureology hydrate shampoo sample I got from sephora and loved it so much I bought the freaking 1L bottle and hateeed it. And that thing was not cheap!! I've learned my lesson.

Sephora is starting to feel like Ulta with their sales. No shade on Ulta 😅 I agree that that coupon drop rubs me the wrong way and all these sales are just cheapening the Sephora brand. Well…I guess they have always been cheap but now they’re showing it
I have the exact same experience with sunscreen as you do. Breakout from Korean new filters chemical sunscreen ✅ Paula’s Choice as holy grail ✅ I have a couple gripes with Paula’s Choice sunscreen are the sticky feeling that takes a few hours to go away, and limited shade range. The current tone they offer also works great for my skin tone but I wish they have a couple more shades for darker skin tones, since it’s such a good physical spf. I will trust your spf recommendation faithfully from now on.
I love the glossier foundation. It's my everyday foundation. I just use one pump maximum and apply it with my fingers.
