Delta T is the change in the temperature. If you have two temperatures, the delta T = final temp - initial temp. For example, if the temperature starts at 21 C and ends up at 36 C, the change in temperature (delta T) is 36 - 21 = 15 C.
Thank you so much for this, I really don't want to fail my chemistry class and I'm hoping I would understand these videos better than I understand it during class :)
pardon me but you made a mistake in the last part of your calculation.947 j / 76.4 g x 0.607 is not 20.4 because if you do the calculations again it comes out as 7.52.....why did you divide everything?? you were supposed to divide them multiply....thank you for your help, but I just had to point that out.
Please be careful with your order of operations. I don't know if they still teach it this way in math classes, but I was taught it as "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" for Parentheses Exponents Multiplication Division Addition Subtraction. The 76.4 should be multiplied by the 0.607 first before the division. 947/(76.4 x 0.607) = 947/46.3748 = 20.4
When a 5 minute video explains a formula better than a 40 minute class
could not agree more, some teachers don't know how to explain and it makes it harder for students to get a good grade on exams.
@@vannei5693 the problem is either the teacher, the classroom, or your classmates
Ukr
Ong my chemistry teacher making it so difficult meanwhile I understand this video in like 2 seconds
@@PrepLmmiun if we are being honest, sometimes it really is the student....
You should come and teach at my school, it would be nice to have a chemistry teacher that knows what they're talking about.

Helped me pass my finals THANK YOU
it's 2022 and this video from 2012 is still better than my teacher in a 2 hour lesson trying to explain this -_-
Your the only person that I could find with how you cna calculate change in temp , deffo like on the vid
Thank you so much teacher only explained this in the last 5 minutes of class and I had no clue
Thank you so much!!! I couldn't remember how to do this, but you saved my life for tomorrows final :D
what result u got?
wow man that was so helpful cause science classes are my kryptonite I cant comprehend it that well thank you so much
Jacob Dobbins wow ur graduated now
Words can not express my gratitude
Just realising that my teacher gave me the wrong formula
Are you one of my former students or do you just miss Chemistry in general?
i literally love you for this video
I don't understand the second part. How did you get 20.4?
This helps more than some book
helpful video, thank you, you explained it simply
That was amazing.. thanks fr the help
Amazing video!! Thank u

Thank you so much
Why did you not change your mass G to KG 🤔🤔
Thanks a lot for this video!!!!
How did u get 887?

How to calculate it × or ÷?
this has help me out a lot. thanks
Thank you so much!
thx for this
Wait I'm sorry, what happens if you're given 2 measurements for celsius
Keep up the good work. I miss being in Chemistry, this brings back so much nostalgia. :')
Wow, you're such a better teacher than Mr Lackie..
what does delta mean

Physics is hard bro
Yes.

I'm so confused you should show all the steps 😒
Meep _ what are confused about?

Chem2Farr how do you get that number because in my calculator 76.4 x 0.67 = 51.188 ... this is confusing
0.607 (not 0.67)
@@Chem2Farr yeah they still teach it some teachers use Please excuse my dear aunt Sally, and some just say pemdas
thank you so much
Thanks so much!
