I still remember the day I first heard "Songs of Moors and Misty Fields", 20 years ago ... it's still my favorite album and one of the few albums that make me feel the pure and full feeling of the artist. Thanks for the existence of Empyrium, I never thought that someday they would perform live ... it's a dream let's say ... "guajiro" (in Spanish) but hopefully one day they will play in Mexico.
And again the moon is on the wave, gliding gently into me, on silent wings the night comes from there, as my heart longs to thee... For in my hand I still hold the rose that froze long times ago, its leafs have withered, it ceased to grow - left in me this woe. The wine of love, is o so sweet, but bitter is regret, I knew at sunset I would meet the ascending veils of dread. Before my eyes nocturnal curtains fall, The dark and gentle haze of the night, greedily devours all. "Woe to him whose heart is filled with bitter rue and who drowns in grief" In the silence of the night I loose myself, it makes me drunken with its sweet blue sound. In the drunk'ness of solitude I fear no more the solemn realms of death No single sigh from my lips as I drink the wine of bitterness My heart is aching nevermore for I know that all may end Just I and the poetry of the night, now forever one... Just I and the poetry of the night, now forever one, The ensemble of silence plays so beautiful for me...
@Hassan Ahmadi I could see that there are differences in instrumentals and mixing, any others that couldn't see? But in your opinions, specifically, what things do make you hate them? IMO, I like cymbals and bass guitar in this version.
@@phamnhat8196 i really preffeer this version, violin is incredible and gutural voice is so good, i really like the studio version too, but this is god tier xd
Ne mükemmel bir grup. Hayatımdaki çoğu zamanımı dinlemeye doymadan geçirdiğim yegane grubum.
Realmente hermoso... Creo que me profujo mad emoción que el tema en estudio.... Mas de 20 años escuchando y me sigue tocando profundamente
It’s now over 20 years old this song and it’s still my favourite song ever written, by my Favourite band in existence. ( with Draconian a close 2nd).
