Gracias por compartir!! Nunca fueron una banda de mucho escenario, de hecho creo que el primer recital data del 2010 o por ahí, cuando ya llevaban varios años y discos. Pero sí, habían anunciado que tenían en mente dejar de tocar en vivo, salvo contadas excepciones. Diría que si tocan 1 vez al año, sería mas de lo que tocaron en promedio, jaja. El año que viene (2024) acaba de confirmarse que estarán en el Prophecy Fest en Septiembre. Probablemente, si se mantiene esto de no tocar en vivo, sea la única presentación de ese año... pero bueno, por lo visto seguirán tocando de tanto en tanto (como siempre lo hicieron)

Bin selbst Musiker, ich weiß, wie anstrengend und stressig live spielen ist, aber irgendwie... Das kann und darf es doch nicht gewesen sein. Bin bei Ensemble of Silence am flennen wie n kleines Blag (und ich bin n gestandener Kerl von Mitte 30, dem sonst alles ziemlich am Arsch vorbeigeht), auch beim 15. Durchlauf, einfach weils nochmal tiefer und intensiver ist als die Albumversion... Nimm uns das nicht weg.

El repertorio es increíble, especialmente Ode to melancholy (uno de mis temas favoritos) y Heimwärts (aunque desafortunadamente no entiendo el Alemán). Me hubiera gustado escuchar The days before the fall o aquellos pasajes acústicos de algunos temas pero aún así, es maravilloso, sublime. Muchísimas gracias de verdad. Ojalá llegue el día de poder disfrutar de su Arte en vivo. Un abrazo desde Ecuador y los mejores deseos. Saludos!
Muchas gracias por tu comentario y muchos saludos a Ecador. Seguí a Empyrium desde el lanzamiento de Weihland alrededor de 2002, pero nunca antes había ido a un programa. Incluso considerando que la ciudad natal de la banda no está tan lejos de la mía. Esta vez Empyrium estaba de gira con un amigo mío, Martin Falkenstein con su Band Mosaic, así que me invitaron a grabar. Fue la última etapa de la gira y, esa es la triste noticia, fue el último show de club completo de Empyrium y el penúltimo show (al menos en el futuro cercano). Realmente espero que vuelvan al escenario algún día. La música de Empyrium es algo único. Te deseo todo lo mejor para 2023, diviértete y tal vez echa un vistazo a Arnica, Mosaic, Wolcensmen, By the Spirite, La Merde, Neun Welten. Los encuentras todos en mi canal.
This band deserves a better concert hall and better musicians. If only I had enough money, I would sponsor this band for at least one show that it deserves.
actually the sound system at the venue was one of the best I have heard in years..Most places and most sound dudes mix for some sort of hip-hop baseline and the speakers are typically so worn out that all you got is some 40hz vibration. This one was really good and the sound guy, doing metal shows for 40 years knew what he did.
