I think my Clavi is one of the best user knives I've ever owned. The warn cliff blade is perfect for those quick on the go cuts and the handle is surprisingly comfortable, took me no time at all to get use to the front flipper, really well designed knife.

For an even harder critique: Don't like the long clip, the brand name on the blade needs to go for sure, not a useable forward choil to choke up on so give me more blade edge or make it larger so I can use it, and no one likes them lanyard tubes. I do like the modified dropfoot blade shape and the hole + fuller for flipping fun and ease. They got an overall good start, be interesting how much they grow in the next few years. Cheers GBall ✌

I really like how it looks, but im concerned about your reaction to the detent. I finally got a sheepdog clutch lock yesterday, so I'm looking forward to testing it out today.
The detent on this one was a little light. It could be just this one, that idk. The first one I have if you watch that video it's really good. I need more of their knives to have more opinion but for the money pretty good 👍🏻

Not too shabby. I'm usually not a fan of this knife shape, but I do kinda like this one.
I need a few more to make a clear decision but so far they've been pretty impressive for the money
I got the blue aluminum one cuz I really liked the color and blade shape. It was all good until it wasn't! The action completely seized up after a couple days. Sent it back.
On a side note, the guy was super eager to make things right with me but I figured I really didn't need another budget knife at the time so I didn't follow through with it.

The action was stiff out the box. Loosened pivot screw (barely) enough to make it smooth and fidgety. Then like 2 days later it made sounds like no brake pads contacting rotors and soon after was impossible to deploy. I figured it was failed bearings.
A sheep's foot doesn't have a belly like that. I'd call it a mod drop point, or a mod clip point. It's a nice looker, whatever you want to call it. Looks like it feels good in the hand, too. Nice one, G.

It's not to shabby at all on weight for it's size. It's very comfy with the contour it's has the steel liners but they are milled out to the gills

Never been an issue for me. Aluminum titanium and steel have been used for handle material for a long time. I've used hundreds of knives with it. Never had trouble. I have carpenter hands so it may be different for me

You guys need to lay off of crying about the makers mark and steel I.D. being put on the blade. That's just pure stupidity and it's contagious. Every wannabe is repeating that crap and now quality knives are coming out with no identification at all. Back in the day when people produced crap and didn't want to be known for the crap they produced they didn't put a name on it and we called it generic.
Nobody's crying about the DESIGNERS name or steel, it's when the company over brands the knife or put their name on it in big ass letters on the show side. It looks cheap no matter who does it. When the show side is clean it looks 100 times better. If you don't know the company or name of the knife you shouldn't own it.
I appreciate you guys as knife reviewers. I watched a number of reviews on a knife being sold by a company called Xtouc. More reviews than not complained about "BILLBOARDING" on the blade. One guy actually had the steel tested for material I.D. and rockwell hardness. Which the knife passed with flying colors.
I thought the "Xtouc" on the blade was done nicely. Nice font choice, size and perfect placement. So when mine came I was let down when such a well made an elegant looking knife came to me with no identification marks at all. I wrote to Xtouc about ordering one that had the info on the blade but they told me it was not possible as so many have complained about the BILLBOARDING they have removed it.
@@bettinanstevens9259 I've heard of the company, I don't have a problem with a logo on the pivot or stuff on the backside of the blade, I just don't like when companies go out of their way to put their name all over with logos and then a big name on the face of the blade. I think it cheapens the knives and their looks. If it's a good value for cheap and it's going to be a user I don't mind as much
@@GBall_Vision I agree that there are some branding and logos that are unappealing to me also. I just don't agree with some reviewers that say that the blade should be bare without anything on it.
I guess i'm just old school about some things.
I think that there should be at least; 1) Brand 2) Model# 3) Blade steel I.D. -----all marked on the blade.
I think the country of origin used to be mandated to be put on the blade.
