Hi Olivia! It is a little bit difficult to pinpoint ONE thing that I am excited about being an Aggie because in truth, I simply feel so blessed to be here! I guess the best way to encompass this feeling of excitement is the fact that I am a first generation college student and the simple fact that I am attending such a prestigious institution makes me feel happy and blessed because I know that I am making my family proud and that I am making a difference. I aspire to become a veterinarian, and if that dream comes true, then I would be the first doctor in my entire family- and that in itself is enough to make me feel so excited for the next four years because I am certain that by the time I graduate from UCD, I will have what it takes to get into veterinary school and pursue my dream. :) Being here at UC Davis and walking through campus everyday reminds me that I am here for a reason and that it is so important that I cherish my time at this beautiful campus- and that is why I am so excited to be here and to be embarking on a new journey. :) Thank you for giving us the chance to share our excitement with you! xx (also, my Instagram username is: xxmelissaruiz). Hi! I am going to be an incoming freshman at Davis this year, and this video helped a lot! But I was a bit confused about how to get the swipes?
The dining plan changed so it's no longer swipes - I guess it goes by days! Best of luck at Davis!

Hey there! First off, I love your vlog. It's literally helped in getting to know my campus more before I even moved in. Although I technically have two years to complete my degree as a transfer student, I do plan on making the most out of these years. What I'm looking forward to right now are the welcome events starting Sunday. I'm also looking forward to getting knowledge about the process of applying to law and grad schools as well as the UCDC, UCCS, and UCEAP (Study Abroad) Programs.
