So many effects in this painting, with such a beautiful result !! Love how you isolated individual parts with the plastic wrap. Very inspiring. Thank you very much.
Absolutely beautiful, thank you so much for sharing. I find your videos very therapeutic. I hope you get as much joy from making them as we do from watching. Much love and light x
I can categorically say you are the best on UA-cam for alcohol ink. I have pinched lots of your ideas and also passed your name to my friend who is just starting to have a go at Alcohol inks
Here you go again! Being an incredibly creative and talented artist who brings delight to so many of us that follow you! I love the effects of the plastic wrap. Going to try this!
Hi Margarita, glad you like the wrap effect, it was a lot of fun to do and you never really know how the result will be. I love that. Thank you very much for watching
Use alcohol inks on a really large yupo page. Way fun. How are you going to seal the piece? Spray varnish? What exactly will you use. Looks really fine.
Again a stunning peace of you ink art videos. I see in some videos there is on top of the bottle a iron needle ore something like that...? Is this allready on the ink bottles youre use ore you must buy them and place them...? So yes whats the name of this needle. And youre using Grant ink ore wich mark...? I like to try it to...! Sorry for asking you.
Beautiful,I have not tried inks but now am inspired to do so. I have acrylic inks ,can they be used like the alcohol inks and is that some kind of blower you are using or is it a heat gun?
Your dryer is what I need for my crippled hands and ask if you would share the brand. I am looking but they all have big handles. Your a master making those inks turn to beautiful pieces of art. THANKS
Tusind mange tak kære ven 🥰 Ja der bliver bygget mere mere på og jeg er nu så glad for at lave disse videoer, at jeg næsten ikke kan vente på at få lavet den næste 😃😃😅
Have you used acrylic varnish on the canvas first? It's probably a silly question but I'm new to this and I'm 74 so be kind. Love the effect you are so talented and inspiring thank you.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💕💕❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧
I will always be kind 🥰 On this one I use acrylic varnish first 👍 let it dry before you use ink on it you can always find what I used in the "description" below the video Thank you for your sweet words ❤
did you varnish the yupo paper before you began? Have you ever used alcohol ink on canvas? I love the way you use the catalyst wedge. Just started playing with it.
Just watched my 3rd video in a row. Your work is so beautiful. On the alcohol Ink tutorial on canvas, you show a bottle of acrylic varnish, so I am assuming you spread it all over the canvas. Do you have to let it dry before you start? You also use plastic wrap during the video and say "until it's dry" how long does this normally take? Sorry for all the questions. Vera
Thank you so much for watching 🙏 yes I brush it on and let it dry completely before ink. plastic wrap should be on for a few hours, it should resist when you lift it, then it is dry enough to take off
Hello my friend! Another beautiful piece you've created! 😁 ❤️ are you using the acrylic varnish by itself with the alcohol inks is is it mixed with varnish and alcohol?
I watch a lot of alcohol ink videos but I learned more from watching you. Love all the techniques that I can now incorporate. It is liberating to know that I can use canvas now instead of Yupo paper. Thank you for this. So appreciated. Was that Amsterdam Varnish?
Hi Susan, are you Danish ? Your last name Hansen is Danish and I am from Denmark 😃 SO glad for your feedback, it means a lot to me. I love to work with alcohol ink on canvas and have being doing that for about 5 years. love that you find it interesting , thank you very much for watching
I came upon your videos and I love what you do. I have been doing pours with acrylic but when I saw your video I definitely want to start working with inks however, I looked up to see if alcohol inks are toxic and on google it says Ranger Inks are non toxic but there are other articles that say they are. My question to you, do you have any information? I see you don't wear gloves and in one of the articles it stated, not only that we should wear gloves but they had to be NITRILE gloves and must wear a mask. After reading all those articles I really didnt gain any clarity

Hello,
I am definetly amazed and inspire by our beautiful sense of beauty, I woner what knd of paint you are using with the silicon palette
Hi Jom
Thank you very much, I am very happy that I can inspire you.
This is alcohol ink and I not using silicone for inks 😊
It is absolutely beautiful, with what did you prepare the canvas?

Hi Laura of course i want to share the brand with you.
it is a Artemio heat gun I use.

Can you tell me please, did the canvas have to be primed as in watercolour on canvas
Muy bonito👌
I put 2-3 coats of BIN or Kilz2 on my canvas. Is that enough or will another coat of varnish help? What are you using for paint with the edge?
did you varnish the yupo paper before you began? Have you ever used alcohol ink on canvas? I love the way you use the catalyst wedge. Just started playing with it.
Hi Nancy
This is on canvas... not yupo paper
This canvas I prep with acrylic varnish.
I hope i can inspire you to keep playing with alcohol ink 👍

Hi Ginny
Thank you very much
I leave the ends as they are
I like that you can see dripping, but you can paint them with acrylic paint if you want
Teşekkür ederim. Bu video çok faydalı oldu benim için.

Hello my friend! Another beautiful piece you've created! 😁 ❤️ are you using the acrylic varnish by itself with the alcohol inks is is it mixed with varnish and alcohol?
Hi Ann thank you very much.
The varnish is only to seal the canvas before I start with alcohol ink 👍
So if I understand correctly, you varnish a regular canvas BEFORE the alcohol ink application?
Valerie Oberle I'm confused on that myself.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love your work!! Do you find the Amsterdam Varnish comes off when you use the inks or alcohol on it?
Thank you very much, no not at all , you have to wait for the varnish to be completely dry before you start on ink
Thanks for letting me know. I had used Liquetex Varnish & it would dissolve with the alcohol. I will give Amsterdam a try. 😊
About how long would you say to let it dry because I'm having the same issue with liquitex
What did you treat your canvas with please! Thanks.
Hi Linda
You find all materials in description 👍
I use Amsterdam acrylic varnich, gloss
Has the canvas gone to gesso OR ALREADY FOR USE THANK OU
Hi Tanya the canvas are already gesso when I buy it , thank you very much for watching

What was the gloss varnish used for? Over the gesso and before the inks were placed?
Good morning Arleen.
I seal the canvas with it and let it dry before ink , because you get a slightly longer float time this way
What is the stamping tool you are using at 10:15? I love the effect it makes!
Hi Kat
It is a applicator from Ranger ink
