Since the HasLab for Fire Convoy did so well, I'm hoping we get a commander-class version of these guys somewhere down the line. It'd be nice to see more non G1 characters after legacy is over, since it would add some much needed variety to the line
A commander class set would be perfect!
It'd be a perfect 3-member go-to combiner after Magmatron.
One of my favorite groups from that series! Nothing can beat RID 2001 reruns!
Great set of figures!
Imo still one of the best combiners we've had, not without his flaws but he poses better than most of the gestalts from Combiner Wars, a line that came 14 years later. Hard to believe he sold so poorly Hasbro decided they'd never do a new version, but with Haslab Omega Prime's success, hopefully they'll rethink that choice. He could definitely stand to be bigger to scale properly with the rest of the RiD 01 line.
Commander class is screaming for this guy I feel. or give us 3 decent voyagers.
@@TTMMH42 I'd love to see each of them at Leader Class personally; honestly to properly scale they should probably each be Commander since Rail Racer himself is considerably taller than Super Mode Optimus who would be like Commander Plus today but realistically that's never happening unless they go to Haslab so I think Leader is a reasonable enough compromise
Between them and Build Team I can’t decide who I want in generations more from RID
I love the build team ... But I feel Team Bullet Train would be the more interesting choice

I've been hoping through all of Generations Legacy that this team gets an update,
I hope the next trilogy still has more obscure teams like Rail Racer
A little fun fact: the Takara version of JRX was so sloppy with its paint job that Hasbro fixed that issue. And because of budget reasons they replaced all the clear plastic on all three figures with opaque plastic, which is a good thing since it's often one can come across a CR JRX with cracks on its clear plastic areas, while the Hasbro version has little to no cracks at all

I'm more inclined towards JRX. Just a more interesting look
