Side effects he experienced: Felt a little numb, a little giddy at times Lack of sexual desire and pleasure Vivid dreams and zap feeling in head when forgetting a dose or two Those effects have now reduced and he's now just living his life with less anxiety. Dealing with his anxiety has opened so many doors to people, jobs etc. Worked well for him.

Thank you so much for this video and sharing your experience. I’m switching from 10 years of Prozac to Celexa today, and I was so nervous. But this really calmed me down. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for your review. I appreciate your honesty. I also come from a family with anxiety and I’ve had it since I was a teenager. I started taking celexa today. 🤞
Wow, i never went this far back in Antenna Man history, but this was a very cool video testimonial! Thanks for putting this out there, Tyler and hope it will help others! If things one day end with your Antenna Man brand, you seem like you could be great as a motivational speaker, guidance counselor or something along those lines. Excited to start this drug tomorrow. I’ve always had social anxiety and fear of people but severe anxiety hit me in 2019 when my mom died. I could barely breath and i had dizzy feelings for months and thought i was dying. In 2021 it got so bad i ended up bedridden for a month from dizziness and the inability to walk. I’m much better now but still have to take deep breaths a lot and around certain people and situations i do feel light headed and short of breath. I don’t know why i feel any of this it just happens. Hoping this drug takes off the edge and gets rid of all this stress and anxiety. It’s been an overwhelming last 3 years
Never taken antidepressants before last week, haven't had meds in a decade, but I had this constant fatigue for the last year that was disrupting my life. Went on Celexa a week ago, and I not only haven't felt this great/normal since high school, (24) but my libido has also shot through the roof. (Probably because it's been so low for so long) I appreciate the honest review and hope this can help encourage others who might need it.
@@whome5810 Male. I no longer regularly take Celexa though because it was interfering with my sleep, and it would make my jaw clench at night like a vice.
3 month update: First 2-4 weeks felt bad but then it got better, I feel less anxious and negative so it is working for me. BUT in my case, my nausea has never gone away and it’s so persistent that I’m debating on whether I should stop take it or not. I’ve tried ginger and all things people claim to help but people say that nausea usually goes away after 2 weeks ish, it’s almost been 4 months now for me so idk.
Celexa has a high success rate. It’s a mild antidepressant, only 30mg. And it rids negative thoughts. Helped me get out of a Major Depression when I was 17. Only took it for 7 months. And after I sustained pretty well, mentally, however I did grow, stuggled with my own anger sometimes, and laziness, so thinkin about gettin back on it. Maybe Maybe not. Cause I’m not as depressed as I was when I needed it. Maybe I just need therapy now, I’m 25. lol Anyway Celexa works real well. I also recommend changing the place you go to that causes the most depression. You gotta also make changes when you start taking this SSRI. You’ll be more confident. Negative thoughts get erased. And you restart. It was great.
@@javenrosales2172 Cool. I hope it works for you like it did for me. You should notice changes, within 3 days or the first week. It is a subtle anti-depressant. Meaning it works by letting your body keep serotonin/ retain it.. So usually it will get rid of automatic negative thoughts and feelings. That come out of the blue for no reason. You will still be normal and sober on this drug, thinking is the same, but it puts a block or a wall on those negative emotions or thoughts that were affecting your life. I found it cleared up negativity so I could move forward and start making decisions to change my life, and taking control and responsibility.
umesh limbu Not while taking it nor after. Life just happens. There’s ups and downs. But I don’t have social anxiety or real depressive thoughts anymore. It’s gone. Just regular challenges. Right now, I have been goin through physical pain, so that takes a toll mentally. But if I distract myself I am pretty normal
You’ve got to want to take medication if you think it’ll help. If you don’t want to or don’t think you need it, then don’t take it. I was desperate back when I was 17 and majorly depressed, I would’ve tried anything. Luckily, this worked for me at the time within a week of taking it.
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure recently and I started taking losartan for that, as well as protonix for heartburn. The past week I’ve been having random chest and muscle pains throughout my body. My doctor suggested maybe stress and anxiety was the source of these pains and wants me to get on this. I don’t really have panic attacks and honestly the side effects of this medication sound worse than anything I’m dealing with now. Reading all these horror stories about the side effects, I really don’t want to take this.
Great vid. . . Thanks for the posts. . . I've dealt with panic attacks for a few years now. . . I have a speech impediment and Ive been taking prozac and prozac helps me a lot with anxiety but it makes my stuttering worse. So I'm looking into celexa as an alternative! Thanks again for the vid!
Just for a point of SSRI comparison, when I started Paxil (paroxetine), the desire didn't go away, but the ability to achieve orgasm did after four days, and I didn't have another for two and a half _years._ That was a *_tiny_* price to pay, though, for not being constantly depressed and thinking about killing myself. >.>
I was having dizzy spells all day. Sometimes they would come during the day no matter the time. I saw my doctor and he asked if I have anxiety. I told him I did not think so. He said celexa would help with the dizzy spells. And lode and behold, dizzy spells went away.
I have been suffering with dizziness for over 5 years now I’ve tried every treatment seen multiple doctors in different countries but recently got prescribed celexa could u describe what do you mean Exactly by dizziness? bc for me I lose my balance I feel the floor shaking etc if so please let me know so I start taking my medication been to paranoid of the side effects
Great informative, people need to hear the things you spoke even if they admit it or not,I subscribed and I hope you get your goal. I'm up in the air about whether or not to take it. Going crazy with anxiety. Anyway good luck.
I am a Female and my Doc stated me off on 5 mg Celexia. I felt effects right away. Some time later I asked her to up me to 10 mg, and have stayed there for years. I DO believe in starting any drug like this low... so our bodies can get used to them.
It is relieving to hear someone else's testimonial of the medication. I'm restarting it after a few years off of it. I'm thankful I'm getting back on it, it's long overdue. I empathize with the shaky voice and shakes overall and I feel for you. I hope you're doing well these days. I look forward to me beginning this medication I just picked up a few hours ago tomorrow!
I took it for over a year for anxiety. It helped a lot, but it had side effects. Yawning was a big one. For awhile I found myself saying things without thinking first, I was a little too comfortable around people. Had some sleep issues. Had a hard time comming, I had to go buck wild to reach the climax. When I got off of it I had brain zaps for a few months.
Forgot to take my citalopram for 4 days, worst mistake ever.... bumping into walls, can't walk straight, double vision, feel sea sick, doctors should tell you about these serious side affects
I've been taking citalopram (10mg) daily for three weeks and I had a huge increase in anxiety after three days. It was so bad I went to hospital. I live in a rural area and my neighbour kindly drove me to hospital at 4.00am on the day. I wanted an injection to calm me and/or advice on how to stop the tablets. They talked to me instead which calmed me down and I dediced to continue. Since then I've had periods of high anxiety for a few hours here and there, the last few days it has worsened again (so from about day 18 to 21), and I sometimes go for a walk as I can't sit still and have considered going to hospital again but haven't yet. My doctor has prescribed me valium and another anti-anxiety medication to get me through. I am so hoping this anxiety surge is temporary, from what I've read 'the anxiety stops after a few weeks' and 'it can take six weeks for my system to fully get used to it' - so all I have to do is wait. Can people reading this, who had anxiety early on when taking citalopram - which later went away - please comment on their experience, and also how long it does take to go. Many thanks.
@@rediculousman Luckily what was claimed, namely that the anxiety goes after a few weeks, did happen. I was fine after that, I would say to anyone taking these tablets to ride it out - the anxiety DOES pass.
@@jeffoliver7491 my doctor told me to buy a pill cutter. Now I'm only taking a dose of 5mg and the symptoms are way more manageable. I'm a 183cm 95km male that can only handle 5mg, whilst my doctor said she has children on doses of 40mg. Quite crazy how the sensitivity ranges!
@@gigi644 I found the anxiety wore off after about 3 weeks, just like all the things I read and heard said. If you're about to take the tablets I would say don't worry about the anxiety, it DOES stop and I've been a lot happier for sometime now. It can be troublesome early on, but I would suggest to bare with it - the benefits once the storm has passed are worth it.
My only problem with this is that you say that the first day you took it and were called on in class you were able to respond without anxiety. But SSRI's take at least 2 weeks if not a full month to build up in your system and actually be able to give you benefits from the medication.
I started celexa 10mg and it made me feel like my skin was burning on the inside. That was after day 4 and I can’t deal with that. So I stopped taking it. Plus it was messing with my kidneys. This drug is no joke the side effects are crazy. I figure that I can manage the anxiety better than I can the side effects of this medicine.

As someone with anxiety how did you get over the fear of side effects to take celexa? I feel hopeful but I've been on other meds and the side effects are too much
I had very few side effects, after 3 weeks I noticed a difference in my energy and Outlook on life, I was very worried about the initial side effects before taking them but I'm glad I did, good look to you Cathie
Celexa and well butrin has zero side effects for me. Took for many years until my business started to fail, then my anxiety and depression came back. Now they want me to take Effexor which has tons of side effects and alll kinds of issues going off.
I take Celexa to control my temper. I have a bad temper. Also, Celexa helps me deal with depression. What did the teacher say when you said you can't continue reading the page?

Same citalopram ruined me ! I felt numb emotionally and panic attacks were daily after taking the medication. My former doctor put me on it for my anxiety disorder and claimed to me it only treated anxiety nope turns out he put me on an antidepressant medication.
I was on Lexapro for a while, and had very similar side-effects, especially the "zaps". They're difficult to describe, but they were there.. and mine were intense. So intense that they'd get in the way of driving, so I had to come off of Lexapro.
not OP but i take 20 mg of celexa and also 2 mg of abilify. personally, i'd say I don"t have "Nightmares" but i have noticed having some very weird and very vivid dreams since i've started taking them. Probably a side effect.
Tyvm yes I take it and yes you are 100% right and like you said if you stop taking it it will go back to yourself and have anxiety again and it does lower your sexual life I agree 💯
Thanks for this information. I was just wondering if you noticed any weight gain with celexa. The reason I ask is that I was previously on Lexapro which caused a significant amount of weight gain.
I realized it was a problem in high school too. unfortunately, I didn't figure out how to get help until my late 20s. Still dealing with this today and I'm 32. No freakin health insurance. Feels like a disability!
Same problem it's hard dealing without insurance with a fear of getting stuck with a 1000 bill. I used getcelebral and it's 40 bucks a month for a doctor and medication. Totally worth it for me and it's all online
i have been offered to take multiple anxiety or depression meds but my biggest fear is weight gain. i know that a lot of anti depressants have weight gain as a side effect and i’m wondering if this is a side effect of this particular drug.
I lost 10 Kg in a month when taking Citalopram. I was drinking too much and most of my calories were from or because of alcohol. It made me feel slightly nauseous with no appetite for food or alcohol and I deliberately took advantage to lose some weight. 3 months later and those effects have worn off but I haven't put the weight back on.
Thanks for sharing. I’m seeing my psychiatrist in 3 weeks to decide going back on meds. Hard decision because so many meds failed me. I have got to decide if I’m willing to go through a year going through trial and error to find the right medication, amount, side effects, combination with another already prescribed medication. How long term will I take it? Meds act so opposite for different people.
Very common side effects, I have those too. I would recommend people exhaust all other options example: good diet, good amount of sleep, get exercise and if you still feel unwell then try the meds.
From what I've read, our food supply is one huge chemical experiment. And I remember the junk food I ate 30 years ago when I had similar issues. Doctors were reporting everything was fine and wanted to place me on SSRI's due to my symptoms. I felt like a 60 year old man with issues that would fill a page. I believe in finding the source of any problem, not just masking them. But I DO understand that it's not always possible and you may have to go to several doctors to find one that can find the route cause. After going to tons of doctors, a co-worker recommended one in a small town who was a D.O. and he had studied Wilson's Syndrome. He took time to listen to my issues and even though my blood work (including my thyroid) was fine he tried some thyroid hormone replacements. In short, his analysis was based on his experience and studies of Wilson's Syndrome. He solved all of my issues with a T3 hormone adjustment 30 years ago, which I'm still on, and NONE of my prior issues ever returned. Many issues corrected themselves. You can read more about this online. It may not be YOUR issue but it highlights the problem with our medical professionals who, based on $$, don't take the time to do the underlying research they should be doing, and quickly shoving pills instead. Why did I have to go to SO many doctors to find this solution?? We like to think than when we go to a professional, like a doctor, they'll know everything. Don't EVER assume that! I hate to see a doctor whipping out a prescription pad within 1 min of my health complaint. That's NOT proper medical treatment if you ask me. Try to read about your condition on line using peer reviewed journals. Yes, they are tough to read but do the best you can to become more of an expert on your own condition and some of its causes and treatments. That way you can better evaluate whether your doctor is really trying to get to the route cause of your condition, or merely shoving pills with side effects as a quick fix. It highly concerns me that SO many young people are bring treated with SSRI's. This isn't normal and there has to be a reason. Food supply? Air supply? It's got to be something in our environment causing this.
i started my 20mg prescription of citalopram this morning, after watching this video i've shifted from anxious about the experience to excited and hopeful. Thank you. i've been told that it can take up to 4 weeks to kick in, was this the case for you? once again, thanks for the video.

@@AtortAerials i just went through a bunch of videos regarding the loading phase of the drug and a common theme seems to be "your doctor won't tell you to go through a titration stage (increasing dosage overtime) but you should. This will be day 3 of taking it for me and the nauseas finally fading away. i'm still getting flu like symptoms (cold sweats/shaking) but to be honest it's hard for me to be alarmed by any of it because i generally feel terrible day to day anyway. i sort of want to feel like its changing me because i'm so sick of being me, if that makes sense?

Tyler very hot.. No hassle, as I'm some 400 miles away, and about 35 years too old. Be aware you aren't locked-in on this SSRI. I'm on luvox which has fewer sexual side-effects, but treats a different array of disorders. The prozac just-about locked me out sexually, but was very effective under a small dose. If you're happy where you are, stay, but some practitioners are more-and-less willing to try different treatments. There is a period of adjustment if you do agree on something different.
I can't say what will work well for you. None of the SSRIs helped me much with being energetic etc. Though I had okay experience with wellbutrin, that one didn't impact OCD too much. The trial-and-error can take a couple of years or longer, so it's best to find a practitioner who is patient and listens.
The SSRI all work a bit differently. Prozac is notorious for killing erections and generating headaches. Luvox and zoloft not so much. My use of luvox wasn't so different from wellbutrin, but it does help with intermittent explosive disorder, and of course OCD. One unusual side-effect on luvox: I had cold extremities for over 45 years. Now my hands and feet are warm most of the time.
I gained almost 20lbs in a few months on celexa. I've been thinking about talking to my doctor about quitting because the weight gain is killing me this is the biggest I've ever been in my life.
My vivid dreams turned to distortion and thought I was in another world where it’s normal to walk up to you waist or knees in water while on the streets and forgot my boyfriend of 3 years at the time that I woke up to not only confused why the water was gone but also who the freak was this in my bed. And why does my house look different then the log cabin in the center of a lake with no bridge to it. Took 5 min of knowing somethings not right didn’t freak out totally because it was subconsciously there that I knew it was the meds and I remembered… never took that shit again I was on just that medication and it was 20 mg… took it for a month or so… idk what that was about but my dreams where so vivid I can with out “strain” control my dream see it bright as day as if it was another world and I had the focus no haze to be lead by my guides to tell me how I can create and I actually got bored like you do on a video game with cheat codes and to much detail to bother with so people I created I had to design every detail hair blah down to there organs and personality in all aspects so people where just mannequins that only did as I wanted them to do by command unless I was less lazy and designed them… I gave my self a firework show and plaid the most beautiful heartstring pulling music I could ever hear across my world and decided to create a fair or carnival… no chance of bad nightmares like that in detail because you have to really focus on it… so not scary but really odd to experience god level of consciousness. It was a good experience except the closest thing to a scare but because it’s also anti anxiety it’s kinda not was the forgetting I’m basically not in a dream and forgot what normal was.. that’s how powerful that dream was… hope that was clear as day. It’s not psychosis it was just another form of acceptance anything was possible that my subconscious was trying to point out but it was one time. I think this was a out of body experience and you can get to that level if you meditate naturally. No different then a normal person who has a nightmare once in a blue moon and wakes up sad and wants to hug somone because they wanted to live them more because of the dream. Or checking on them just to know they are ok. Or something… just more awareness and vividness… don’t take with the bad drugs tho… not that I have but I can see that messing somone up and causing trauma or something… even if it’s Mary Jane.
Fantastic video! Thank you. I'm on my second week and was wondering about the sexual dissatisfaction which is the perfect way to put it. I didn't see that in the side affects any where but have been experiencing it.
I’m two weeks in while on Celexa. Dry mouth, drowsiness, the reduced libido, and the nausea. It’s okay. It’s worth it. I’m still anxious, so it has not begun working yet.

Even though I don't need the medication, you had me convinced of its benefits and your honest and candid approach was refreshing! 👍
Hey buddy I’ve been taking it for years now and I know what you’re talking about. Thank you for putting this video out I really appreciate it and I know a lot of other people will too
Thank you I've commented before on your videos but I finally made the jump and got on Celexa. I feel so much better with my anxiety under control thank you thank you for your videos and comments back at me blessings to you man. on a side note Go Warriors!!! We will beat the Celtics in 6 🎉
Excited to start this drug tomorrow. It’s been an overwhelming last 3 years
Update?
Never taken antidepressants before last week, haven't had meds in a decade, but I had this constant fatigue for the last year that was disrupting my life. Went on Celexa a week ago, and I not only haven't felt this great/normal since high school, (24) but my libido has also shot through the roof. (Probably because it's been so low for so long) I appreciate the honest review and hope this can help encourage others who might need it.
Glad it worked for you! Regarding libido, are you male or female? I know it can work differently depending on your sex.
@@whome5810 Male. I no longer regularly take Celexa though because it was interfering with my sleep, and it would make my jaw clench at night like a vice.
Gonna start with it tomorrow. Hoping it will do good for me and I really hope and pray I won’t have bad side effects, wish me luck🙏
3 month update:
First 2-4 weeks felt bad but then it got better, I feel less anxious and negative so it is working for me. BUT in my case, my nausea has never gone away and it’s so persistent that I’m debating on whether I should stop take it or not. I’ve tried ginger and all things people claim to help but people say that nausea usually goes away after 2 weeks ish, it’s almost been 4 months now for me so idk.
you have my subscription bro, loved how you explained everything. Top bloke stay stong dude
Thankyou for your openness and honesty..
I had very similar experiences.
When you asked for 1000 subs i went to go sub and saw you have 125k! Congrats! Good shit homie
Yes, I've come a long way from when I first made this video.
Maybe I just need therapy now, I’m 25. lol
Anyway Celexa works real well. I also recommend changing the place you go to that causes the most depression. You gotta also make changes when you start taking this SSRI. You’ll be more confident. Negative thoughts get erased. And you restart. It was great.
Troy Rossi I got put on it today
Did u have any depressive episode relapsed?
umesh limbu Not while taking it nor after.
Thanks for the video, my guy! ❤
Just be aware of the side effects. I also noticed insomnia if I take it later in the day.
Just for a point of SSRI comparison, when I started Paxil (paroxetine), the desire didn't go away, but the ability to achieve orgasm did after four days, and I didn't have another for two and a half _years._ That was a *_tiny_* price to pay, though, for not being constantly depressed and thinking about killing myself. >.>
Thank you so much for this video. This is exactly what I’m going through.
Thanks for the video! i just got prescribed on it today was looking up videos if people have tried and an saw yours thank you! ^^
Thanks for this video bro i just got up to 40mg my anxiety is outta control with the anxious

Citalopram does wonders for my panic disorder.
Perfect video man! Thank you and congrats!
Yo! Thanks for your honest and open review!!
celexa is great it really takes off the edge on most of my problems

Great informative, people need to hear the things you spoke even if they admit it or not,I subscribed and I hope you get your goal. I'm up in the air about whether or not to take it. Going crazy with anxiety. Anyway good luck.
It worked well for me
I am a Female and my Doc stated me off on 5 mg Celexia.
When I got off of it I had brain zaps for a few months.
did your sex drive go back to normal once you stopped taking it?
Your story is very inspiring. Thank you and God Bless ❤
Bro you give me hope. I just started 20mg of citalopram
In on 40mg
How’s it been so far on the medication ?
How has it been cause I been on it 2 days and I'm having anxiety
I almost collapsed in front of the class because of anxiety when i was in high school, so i know how it is
Lol! During those presentations! Yep been there before
Thanks for the honest review!
Forgot to take my citalopram for 4 days, worst mistake ever.... bumping into walls, can't walk straight, double vision, feel sea sick, doctors should tell you about these serious side affects
.....dont forget to take your meds lol thats why you were prescribed them, to take em.
I am in the same boat.
@@rediculousman Luckily what was claimed, namely that the anxiety goes after a few weeks, did happen. I was fine after that, I would say to anyone taking these tablets to ride it out - the anxiety DOES pass.
@@jeffoliver7491 so you say it takes almost a month of intense anxiety before the full effect appears ?
It can be troublesome early on, but I would suggest to bare with it - the benefits once the storm has passed are worth it.
thank you for this video. its so sad what happens to young men with this.
My only problem with this is that you say that the first day you took it and were called on in class you were able to respond without anxiety. But SSRI's take at least 2 weeks if not a full month to build up in your system and actually be able to give you benefits from the medication.
It starts working on the first pill. No anxiety the next morning
I found quiting pot after 24 years stoped all my anxiety 😖✌️.
Thank you for sharing your story!!
I took just one, and it was horrible, I'm still so scared
I took 10mg today and I’m SO f’n nauseous no way I can take this shit. I feel like I have someone standing in my chest almost kind of freaking hence looking this stuff up. Meds sucks!

@@reynagonzalez8983 no I didn’t because this happened to me on the 3rd day of taking it and I stopped Immediately.
As someone with anxiety how did you get over the fear of side effects to take celexa? I feel hopeful but I've been on other meds and the side effects are too much
The side effects are better than anxiety
I had very few side effects, after 3 weeks I noticed a difference in my energy and Outlook on life, I was very worried about the initial side effects before taking them but I'm glad I did, good look to you Cathie
Did you end up taking it?
Celexa and well butrin has zero side effects for me. Took for many years until my business started to fail, then my anxiety and depression came back. Now they want me to take Effexor which has tons of side effects and alll kinds of issues going off.
I take Celexa to control my temper. I have a bad temper. Also, Celexa helps me deal with depression. What did the teacher say when you said you can't continue reading the page?
Didn't see this until now. She handled it very professional and just had someone else pick up the reading. That was almost ten years ago. Man time flies....
How is your anger now?
im a veteran experiencing depression im going to ask about this when i go see a mental health proffesional.
What about weight gain. Is this a real possibility or over hyped?
Citalopram ruined my life drowsy eating constantly and weight gain.Suducial thoughts.Panic attacks.I have bipolar illness and now I take Queatiapine and Amisulpride Medication now.Lost weight eat less.I had bad side effects. Will never take citalopram and anti- depressants again.I felt like a zombie.Poision drug citalopram.
Same citalopram ruined me ! I felt numb emotionally and panic attacks were daily after taking the medication. My former doctor put me on it for my anxiety disorder and claimed to me it only treated anxiety nope turns out he put me on an antidepressant medication.
If you already have tinnitus DO NOT TAKE ANTIDEPRESSANTS. I took Citalopram for two weeks. Worse decision of my life. I now have chronic tinnitus.
Hi do you still have the tinnitus ?
Wait if you already had tinnitus then it wouldn’t matter anyways right?
Way past a thousand subs now 💪💯
I was on Lexapro for a while, and had very similar side-effects, especially the "zaps". They're difficult to describe, but they were there.. and mine were intense. So intense that they'd get in the way of driving, so I had to come off of Lexapro.
Do you get nightmares. I started taking zoloft and during the 2nd week I was getting terrible disturbing dreams
not OP but i take 20 mg of celexa and also 2 mg of abilify. personally, i'd say I don"t have "Nightmares" but i have noticed having some very weird and very vivid dreams since i've started taking them. Probably a side effect.
Tyvm yes I take it and yes you are 100% right and like you said if you stop taking it it will go back to yourself and have anxiety again and it does lower your sexual life I agree 💯
You have over 1k!!(:
Thanks for this information. I was just wondering if you noticed any weight gain with celexa. The reason I ask is that I was previously on Lexapro which caused a significant amount of weight gain.
Started on 20mg last week, I take it in the evening before bed, but felt very tired in the mornings, so decided to drop down to 10mg.
Is it like a xanx
@@haydenh9512 right lol
I realized it was a problem in high school too. unfortunately, I didn't figure out how to get help until my late 20s. Still dealing with this today and I'm 32. No freakin health insurance. Feels like a disability!
Same problem it's hard dealing without insurance with a fear of getting stuck with a 1000 bill. I used getcelebral and it's 40 bucks a month for a doctor and medication. Totally worth it for me and it's all online
celexa made my head hurt like i was having the worst hang over
Yeah, I've had that a few times. Kind of feels like a migraine, but not quite as bad. Most of the time, I just feel tired and depleted.
Keep up the good work
Lexapro is the gold standard.
i have been offered to take multiple anxiety or depression meds but my biggest fear is weight gain. i know that a lot of anti depressants have weight gain as a side effect and i’m wondering if this is a side effect of this particular drug.
It seems to be, in my case at least.
Thank you for this video!
I feel ya
Share with me your story??(:
How are you holding up with the anxiety 2 years later bud??
Thanks for sharing. I’m seeing my psychiatrist in 3 weeks to decide going back on meds. Hard decision because so many meds failed me. I have got to decide if I’m willing to go through a year going through
trial and error to find the right medication, amount, side effects, combination with another already prescribed medication. How long term will I take it? Meds act so opposite for different people.
Hello and thanks for the video for someone who struggles with my depression and Insmonia could citalpram provide any benefits??
20 seems like a massive dose to start out with….be careful.
@@AtortAerials Thanks, i'll keep that in mind if any side effects become prominent. My doctor prescribed the dosage but i don't know what she based her decision on.
@@mightymisery mine said 10mg and yesterday was my first day and felt so miserable no way I can take another pill this morning. I felt like I was drugged super crappy for me. Many seem to be fine affected me BIG time. 😕
@@AtortAerials i just went through a bunch of videos regarding the loading phase of the drug and a common theme seems to be "your doctor won't tell you to go through a titration stage (increasing dosage overtime) but you should. Start with 5mg and work up if you have to". i personally won't heed this advice but if the side effects are to much for you then you should consider it.

Does the luvox help with the energy and motivation? And you say it doesn't do much negative sexually.
I can't say what will work well for you. None of the SSRIs helped me much with being energetic etc. Though I had okay experience with wellbutrin, that one didn't impact OCD too much. The trial-and-error can take a couple of years or longer, so it's best to find a practitioner who is patient and listens.
@@stevejohnson1321
So is the luvox helping a lot? Isn't it another SSRI?
The SSRI all work a bit differently. Prozac is notorious for killing erections and generating headaches. Luvox and zoloft not so much. My use of luvox wasn't so different from wellbutrin, but it does help with intermittent explosive disorder, and of course OCD.
One unusual side-effect on luvox: I had cold extremities for over 45 years. Now my hands and feet are warm most of the time.
Thanks so much for this
did you gain weight? I can't take any anti-depressants because I can't become overweight again in my life.
Nah I have a naturally high metabolism tho
