Wltoys still! Just do the needed important upgrades some tuning, maybe just wheel hubs and go brushless, greasing gears, then buy few extra easy to find cheap parts and your good to go👍😁👍

Hard to find parts for arrma and tamiya? In what part of the world arrma or tamiya parts are hard to find? You can get them in every hobby shop all around the world.. and all parts that are prone to brakeing are not kn expensive at all..
There will always be a place for craftsmanship pieces. But there will always be a place too for toys that balance value, accessibility and durability. Wltoys has found that niche and are going hard after it. As far as parts availability goes, all it takes is one entrepreneurial supplier to list on Amazon or setup better distribution through banggood and the problem will be solved. I received banggood parts from new Jersey distribution center in about a week
An rc car is a commodity with technology passed down and benefitting from the drone, electric bike and scooter industries. Wltoys is scaling models and reusing parts between platforms to develop an economy of scale. They can easily take away market share from the lower end and higher end of the market and use the profits to drive competitors out of the market and develop low, mid and high end platforms if they want. This is happening in every area, not just rc, because manufactures have given the tooling secrets to the Chinese over the last 30 years and it's finally coming back to bite us.
You guys should definitely do the brushless upgrade. I'd probably buy it just to own a Losi, but that's really all it seems to have going for it in my book! 😅
There a lot better than you think. I said the same thing then I bought a Mini t 2.0 it's pretty awesome. The handling on it is extremely good for 2wd. I bought a hobby wing brushless for mine. Hoping it will do 30

Im not sure if you noticed but if you hold the throttle full throttle and push up on the throttle trim until it does one solid long beep it will go at its full speed! Same with the steering rate!
Wltoys or Losi Mini hmmmmm neither buy LC Racing! 😆 I have a mini T not B and is great, but only 13mph stock brushed. Purchased before B brushless came out. Costs racked up to go brushless. Although it is a rocket now it's brushless its just too small for offroad. B hasn't brushless stock version yet like the B I don't think. Yep skip both and go LC Racing😁
Losi all day. I converted my mini T to a 7200kv and Robinson racing 19t pinion. Absolute blast! I did a brushless upgrade on the amoril xdkj and destroyed it in 5 mins. Still running the mini t in the same places. Another thing to consider with the wltoys, is the odd pinion gear pitch. Just an fyi.
I have the Losi Mini T 2.0, only buy it you are going to go Brushless. It had a 280 motor 23 turns, it's like driving a toy car so slow. WL Toys quality is ok but you get a buggy like the 144001, out the box 31.54 miles per hours. No issues with mind at all.

I work at a hobby store here in Foxboro Massachusetts United States hobby quarters and we sell the brushless version and the brush version the brushless version is actually super duper fat literally three times the speed and the power definitely worth the upgrade I'm letting you know personally from experience we sell a lot of these at my store in people who usually buy the brush version quickly convert to the brushless even for child beginners. Please do so I would love to see you guys as reaction to how much better it is
You can speed up this little buggy with the throttle trim and it can increase the speed by 5-9 mph and actually balloon the tires. (rack the buggy and hold the throttle all the way back and use the + button on the throttle trim to increase the speed - or the minus to decrease the speed). It will definitely make the track more exciting.

Another awesome video guys. hey I really think you guys should check out one of the Lc racing buggies. They are really awesome kits I believe they are who WL toys tries to copy. But it’s a really awesome kit. The only issue I have with WL toys is the parts availability I’m sure the losi is more readily available
Wl toys definetly is not easier to get spares.. losi parts carrys every hobby store, for wl toys you have to wait for months..and 99% of Wltoys "upgrade" parts are crap..
I own the mini b and the wltoys in my opinion the losi once I did the brushless upgrade electronics upgrade and fixed steering slop is the way it should come in the first place totally different car now and the wl toys are great as well but 2 different classes 4wd vs 2wd the mini b would never beat the wltoys around a dirt track but probably be more evenly matched on tight carpet track but they are both great cars in there own rights
the 2wd is nice when almost everything else is 4wd anyways imo. the 8mm hex is not very common but can be changed. think its sort of the original 1/16 wheel hex size

Great video guys/ A great introduction "hobby grade" entry model to run on carpet or mud only. . As it's brushed everything is pretty much what you would expect. It's mot going to be the fastest. Brushless is always going to offer performance and if you want something to last a long time the brushless systems are more durable. Saying that a brushed system can still give you years of un :) Yes and I thnk Amber should do the conversion to Brushless system ;) And then race the Losi agsinst WL Toys. Keep up the great work :)
Go to an unprepped track and you will see why you want 4WD EVERYTIME. 2WD is annoying unless you have a ball diff, rear mounted motor, pins on rear and ribs up front. 4WD is much more friendly, you can have wrong diffs wrong tyres and it’s still drivable

You definitely need a brushless system its a whole new buggy cause you can ditch that awful controller I have a spektrum system on mine and love it and the dynamite 6000kv is fun for the track but if you really want to turn the power up I have the castle creations mamba x system then if you choose you can run a 3s like the spektrum 800mah 50c 3s fits perfect and still controllable you won't regret paying a lil extra and going castle promise I have both of then next mod adjustable motor plate so you can go up in gearing and some pro-line tires the hole shots all the way you won't believe it's the same buggy promise and im running the castle 5300kv 0808 motor if your gonna stick with 2s the 8200kv I got both good luck cand wait to see the next video also hobbywing makes a system and its just ok also Def get rid of that battery atleast run losi's/dynamite 800mah50c2s same size as the stock bat
You didn't read the manual did you? 😂😂😂 If you did you would know this vechile has steering and thottle rates that are set in the middle from default factory settings. If you turned up the thottle rate it wouldn't be so slow 🤭
@@TheRcKiwis All good, it's just when I've seen people up the thottle rate on this you can hear the pitch difference in sound as the rpms increase and the tyres start to balloon just the smallest amount. Your one seemed unusually slow that's, all like as if the thottle rate had not been adjusted. A member of my track has one of these and converted his to brushless and it fly's I guess if you do that it won't even matter 😋
Yes there is a very slight balloon when going full, but as I said not sure if I did the increase before or after that clip but for the running part of the video was definitely at max! I think the water, and track condition didn’t help with it reaching its full potential. Will have to take out again soon!
This is super underwhelming. I'm honestly very upset with how slow this losi is especially for the price compared to wltoys. It seems that even if you bought this for a first timer just dipping their feet into the rc waters, they would also find this little losi to be lacking drastically. I'd bet you could get more than double the speed for what? 30% less cash out of your wallet. Very unhappy with losi's "budget" buggy. And It's Not At Least Water Resistant!! smfh...

Not sure if you guys did this, but you do have endpoints on both the steering and throttle. You can increase the top speed and turning radius.

looks like you need to turn up the dual rate on the throttle. It will go much faster than what your's was running on the brushed system.

144001 at $73.00. That Losi is twice the price, only has 2wd, and is a lot slower.
The Losi will have a big advantage for locally (faster) sourced parts at least for me.

No offense but the OG mini t original with a lipo 7.4 volt battery is way faster than this new version not sure why they dumbed it down.
