Fieldsports Britain - A Year in the Life of Red Deer, part 1

- Sea eagles are taking lambs and red deer calves. It's a normal springtime on the Ardnamurchan peninsula with local deerstalkers and farmers dealing with the idiocy of government policy.
This is part one of our four-part film A Year in the Life of Red Deer, where we follow Niall Rowantree of West Highland Hunting in his work managing red deer and other game on the estate in the West Highlands. The film is kindly supported by riflemaker Blaser and optics company Leica.

What a brilliant and fabulous film. The keeper of the estate is a credit to himself, the estate and the shooting community
The best episode yet. I could listen to that man for hours.
Brilliant episode Charlie and the boys. fantastic photography.
The best film from Fieldsports Britain so far, very informative. A model estate from which many could learn.
Spectacular! Love the depth of knowledge from Mr Rowantree.
Wow, this bloke has forgotten more about deer and deer management than most will ever know. Brilliant episode.
This channel just keeps getting better and better.
Fantastic film guys. Brilliantly informative and great camera work. So good to see intelligent and passionate people protecting our sport and the habitat. Can't wait for the next instalment.
Excellent photography, full of knowledge and passion; one of the best film we've seen so far, well done!
Excellent film , Fieldsports Britain is without doubt the best hunting program
Perfect film...nice to ring the changes and do something a little different to show that its not just all about killing. Well done chaps....
fantastic episode brilliant film work. Niall has so much knowledge of the dear & his ground is there anything he doesn't know. thank you for sharing. well done all involved
Terrific video, many thanks for everyone's time and effort. This made my evening, roll on the next episode.
wow this was an absolutely fantastic film cant wait for the next one, Niall was very knowledgeable man on deer and the environment keep up the great work lads.
Absolutely superb! Knowledge straight from the horses mouth, shame that the numpties will ignore it. Those re-wilders should be forced to fund the crofters losses up front, after all why should we have to suffer for their arrogant and ignorant actions. Too many 'experts' medling with the enviroment.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video
Great video guys, next level stuff. Looking forward to the next one being released.
Well done field sports channel a very informative and interesting video

Fantastic! Well done guys. 😀
Superb quality filming and very carefully produced -well done , this is right up there with the pace bros films and many levels above other weekly shows.
Wonderful video subject and camera work too, Charlie,...thanks for this. I'll look forward to seeing part 2.
great video guys top stuff
Absolutely brilliant film.
Well done Charlie, very interesting and well edited/shot film this one. I was in two minds with the Eagle kills as a homesteader i felt for the farmer and really understand the impact of loss, especially as a regular occurrence but also appreciate the bird itself. Not sure how to mediate this one. Please try to keep us posted on how the management will progress and what solution/balance is met. Thanks for all your hard work. Cheers Moose. 👍
Fascinating - learnt a great deal - good work!
Great work guys!

I thought warble fly were eradicated from the UK 35 years ago.
Regarding the Fish Munching Lamb murdering Eagle..
Why don't they create a coastal fish farm and let them eat that?
Any left over can be sold.
Lambs live another day
Is there a compensation arrangement in place for losses from eagles for the farmers?
"Fluffy white bog cotton" - sounds like toiletpaper!
Second 😂 great video
Complicated innit?
I think you blokes need some kiwi farmers to run the show
